Welcome to UNWAVERING, the show for women who are seeking to lead through the power of their femininity and common sense so they can create multigenerational impact and influence for themselves, their families, and the community around them. This show is definitely not for the faint of heart or the easily offended. It is for those who want to grow through life versus simply go through life. Your host, Pamela J of Pamela J and Co (pamelajandco.com), has studied leadership for years and has implemented these learnings in her life and leadership roles with individuals and teams. A single mom of three, it is in this show that Pamela J imparts the life and leadership lessons she's learned, often through the hard knocks of failing up, so hopefully you won't have to. She has worked in traditional roles as a learning and development director, a credentialed teacher, a health and wellness business owner, and an HR professional. She is a Christian, conservative, a home design addict, and a lover of all things that traditionally make America the greatest country in which to live. Why It's Dangerous to Displace Men In The Home And In the Workplace | Unwavering Ep 02 [CREATOR'S NOTE: This episode was recorded on 5.5.24, long before Harrison Butker gave his commencement speech. It's uncanny how similar our messages are, which one can only credit as downloads from God as He continues to use His people, His earthly warriors, to deliver His truth.] The nuclear and multi-generational family is in crisis and it's impacting the home and the workplace. The displacement of men in both arenas is emasculating men and creating apathy among them. As women continue to climb the ladder in the workplace, continue to buy the lie that they don't need a man, and continue to displace men at home and in the workplace; men, who are wired innately to provide, protect, hunt, and gather, find themselves in a place of near uselessness. This is dangerous as they can then only turn to television, video games, porn, drugs, alcohol, or other addictions as they NEED to do something with their time. If they are not feeling valued or needed, what is left for them? Yet at the same time, women want men who lead and then complain they can't be found, failing to recognize the contribution women are making to create this crisis. Ladies, we cannot have our cake and eat it, too. If we want men to step into their masculinity, then we need to step into our femininity. We need to allow men to lead in the home and in the workplace. We need to follow our maternal instincts when we bring children into the world and plan accordingly in our marriages. There is hope to heal if we are willing to face the truth and then take action.
