She Overcomes: Becoming BOLD with Melanie Rudd
Melanie Iverson Rudd is the founder of She Overcomes and co-founder of the She Overcomes Foundation. As a serial entrepreneur with a formal education in mass communications, with an integrated emphasis in public relations and advertising, she’s worked over a decade helping women, small business owners and entrepreneurs and dozens of nonprofits globally. Utilizing her education and experience, Melanie helped raise $1 million to fight human trafficking, impacting hundreds of thousands of people in over 23 countries. After serving Syrian and Iraqi refugees in the Middle East, her philanthropic work brought her to Iraq while ISIS was still in control in 2017 to support a female-ran humanitarian organization based out of Israel. Melanie took her experience and knowledge to a greater platform when she ran for Mrs. North Dakota International 2020 and won the title. She Overcomes fights the imposter syndrome, insecurity and isolation by inspiring, equipping and empowering women to live with courage and confidence in community. Each podcast will take a journey through the lives of women in business, who've overcome personal and professional obstacles. Episodes will be posted bi-weekly on Wednesdays.
