Whom Shall I Fear?
Before Pastor Richard Wurmbrand was arrested by the Romanian secret police… Before he spent fourteen years in prison, three of those years in solitary confinement… Before he entered into such great suffering, he had read that there are 366 places where Scripture tells God’s people not to be afraid — one for every day of the year, including leap year. In prayerful study of God’s Word, Richard and his wife, Sabina, began to memorize those passages. The fact that there were 366 rather than 365 became especially meaningful when Richard was arrested on February 29, 1948. The verses he and Sabina had hidden in their hearts gave them strength to stand for Christ in the face of betrayal, beatings, arrests, labor camps, prison cells and torture. That godly strength and resolve is available to you as well. The Whom Shall I Fear? podcast will explore 366 biblical passages that will take you beyond anxiety, doubt and fear, grounding your faith in God’s character as you live obediently for Christ in the face of any difficulty or opposition. We’ll also share inspiring real-life examples of faithfulness from the Wurmbrands and other persecuted Christians throughout history and around the world.
