We first met in person briefly at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 when I was on a panel with her good friend (and episode 66 guest), Kaitlyn Fae. Both Jenapher and Kaitlyn are also podcast hosts on the Pangeekery podcast, where I was a guest in 2020. Jenapher is an actor, gamer, podcaster, Twitch streamer, visual artist and writer. Speaking of writing, a short movie she wrote, called Borrowed Light was recently fully funded on Seed & Spark (the campaign ends on April 14, 2021) and will start production soon. Also...congrats to Jenapher for recently getting 1,000 followers on her Twitch channel! We cover a wide range of topics like her movie, her geek origin story and creative journey, and so much more! During our conversation, she was willing to be a bit vulnerable, touching on childhood bullying, being diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, and also reading a poem she recently wrote that encapsulated her feelings concerning the murders of six Asian women in Atlanta, Georgia in March of 2021.
