It’s tough out there. And sometimes it feels tougher than ever. Like the Cicada it’s time to come out of our holes, shed our old shell, and climb to great heights. All the while making plenty of noise on our way to the top. In this entertaining and introspective podcast, filmmaker Lance Parkin conducts a series of interviews intended to draw out the stories, struggles, and successes of guests from many diverse disciplines and backgrounds. All in an effort for himself--and anyone listening--to learn what it’s like to live life as the Cicada. To poke our heads out of our holes and pursue our passions in a world that seems to actively try to stall us every step of the way. The interviews can get deep, but they are always interesting or entertaining. Every guest is treated with equal respect and as an individual with their own unique and shared struggles. An individual that we can all learn from. After each interview Lance will briefly discuss the interview in The Takeaway – What he has learned as a result of his time with the guest.
