S1 E5 | Rob Ramsden | Co-founder of the International Precision Rifle Federation
Rob Ramsden is well known and respected within the sport of Precision Rifle. Not only did he build the South African Precision Rifle Federation, gaining official recognition of the sport within South Africa, something very few other countries have been able to achieve, including the United Kingdom, he is also a co-founder of the International Precision Rifle Federation, having played a key role in bringing the first ever World Championship of Precision Rifle to France in 2022 and building the Council of Nations to over 20 members during his time in charge before handing over the reigns to the current IPRF President after the Worlds closing ceremony in France. As well as being a keen Precision Rifle sportsman, having qualified for two World Championships, once for South Africa and most recently shooting for his new home country, Ireland, Rob has also been a match director. As an organiser of the sport nationally and internationally, a match director and competitor, Rob has great insight into the sport. This insight, coupled with his extensive research about how to build and sustain successful sport and athlete models means Rob is someone well placed to offer advice and guidance to those involved in the sport of Precision Rifle. Building on from the topics discussed in the rather controversial fourth episode of Holding Left Edge, episode five is not to be missed!
