Celebrity activists, while usually well intentioned, rarely have a systemic understanding of the causes they tout - and thus leave a lot of damage in their wake. Paris Hilton is no exception. Over the past couple of years, she has used her celebrity to shut down teen rehab facilities - and the consequences are dark. Christina Buttons, an investigative reporter for the Manhattan Institute and a former troubled teen herself, spent time in the same facilities as Hilton and is exposing the holes in her work.
