The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 273: Epstein, worst zombie ever.
Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Gabe Sanchez from the Boredwalk content team dig further into the most recent revelations from the ongoing saga related to the Epstein Files and the most irritating "will they, won't they" in recent memory. They also discuss: • MAGA's gross contortions in the media to rationalize and even defend the crimes being perpetrated against children by abusers • The seemingly neverending parade of former anti-Trump Republicans who have done a complete 180 since his election in 2016 • ICE's ongoing terrorist actions against U.S. citizens and legal residents We then pivot to a glowing review of our Sinister Affirmations card deck before checking in with the latest dispatch from Troll-sylvania — always good for a derisive chuckle. In an effort to take things out on a high note, our hosts wrap up the episode by trading answers to questions pulled from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! This week we answer the questions "what is everyone obsessed with lately that holds no appeal for you?", "what popular mental health advice that isn't actually very good?", and "what was the most fun you've had in the past year?" The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 272: What is this weird feeling? Is this... hope?
Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Gabe Sanchez, from the Boredwalk content team chat about the initial trickle of documents being released from the Epstein Files, as well as: • The misconception that liberals care about protecting Democrats implicated in the commission of heinous crimes (we don't; prosecute them ALL) • The heartening resoluteness of MAGA luminaries refusing to remove their names from the discharge petition that would trigger a full release of the files • Tesla's grotesque $1T compensation package for their chaotic CEO, Elon Musk • The short and long term fallout from the ending of the federal government shutdown and what that means for U.S. citizens now and in the new year • Trump's idiotic 50-year mortgage proposal, which would more or less guarantee a life of indentured servitude for the majority of future U.S. home "owners" • The New York Times' ongoing regrettable decision to employ conservative op/ed contributor Ross Douthat, especially after his recent column stating that women have "ruined the workplace" • #StickerGate! We then pivot to a glowing review of our activity books before checking in with the latest dispatch from Troll-sylvania — always good for a derisive chuckle. In an effort to take things out on a high note, our hosts wrap up the episode by trading answers to questions pulled from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 271: Performative Piety
Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Gabe Sanchez, from the Boredwalk content team reunite to discuss all the most recent salacious scandals marring the U.S. political landscape (and distracting from the FULL, UN-REDACTED RELEASE OF THE EPSTEIN FILES), including: • The very cozy public embraces between very married (and very "Christian") Vice President J.D. Vance and very recently widowed (and very "Christian") trad-wife Erika Kirk, and Second Lady Usha Vance's apparently sanguine acceptance of being publicly cuckqueaned • The state of the U.S. economy heading into the busiest shopping season of the year (spoiler alert: it's suboptimal!) • Mass layoffs in the private sector and the ongoing shutdown of the federal government impacting spending power and consumer confidence • Speaker of the House Mike Johnson's ongoing refusal to swear in recently-elected U.S. Representative Adelita Grijalva in a thinly-veiled attempt to keep the aforementioned Epstein Files from being released • Trump's shoulder shrugging over his own supporters losing access to SNAP benefits and facing the specter of exploding health insurance costs come January 1st 2026 as a result of the expiring Affordable Care Act subsidies that the GOP's One Big Beautiful Bill does not renew • The gross inhumanity of wealthier members of the MAGA movement celebrating and mocking other people — including fellow MAGA voters — who can no longer afford groceries due to the frozen SNAP benefits We then check in with the latest dispatch from Troll-sylvania, which features Kenny Murdoch's hilarious "insult" wherein he accuses us of making "AI" content because our teeth are "too perfect," because he simply cannot fathom a world in which regular dental visits, braces, Invisalign, and basic oral hygiene are a thing that exist. Not only do we have impeccable dental situations, we also design and sell high-quality vinyl stickers, per a recent customer review. Nice! In an effort to take things out on a high note, our hosts wrap up the episode by trading answers to questions pulled from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! This week we answer the questions "what two foods are people always putting together that ruin them for you?", "what was the least useful class you ever took in school?", and "what is your favorite local spot in town?" The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 270: No Kings 2: Electric Boogaloo
Tess Menzies, Gabe Sanchez, and Meredith Erin from the Boredwalk content team sit down to discuss all the recent(ish) happenings in the U.S., including: • The regime's unauthorized demolition of the east wing of the White House for a gilded ballroom literally no one asked for • The recent completely peaceful, totally legal, and robustly attended nationwide No Kings protest and the outright lying & fearmongering of the regime's propaganda machine denouncing U.S. citizens' First Amendment rights • The regime's dangerous decision to fire live weapons across interstate 5 between Los Angeles & San Diego in opposition of the No Kings protests, which ended up damaging California Highway Patrol property as well as the Vice President's own motorcade with shrapnel • The continued infringement of civil liberties via the illegal racially motivated assault on and kidnapping of legal residents and U.S. citizens • MAGA's desperate gaslighting to non-cultists in a feeble attempt to normalize the pro-Nazi rhetoric of the modern Republican party • Legal threats to the Voting Rights Act that will remove protections against racially-motivated gerrymandering, allowing the unpopular minority to consolidate political power despite the objective unpopularity of their policies and candidates • The importance of voting in EVERY election, being informed about what is being voted on, and how to make electoral participation fun We then check in with the latest dispatch from Troll-sylvania, which involves Cynthia's dislike of our activity books, but then hero Tamara weighs in with glowing praise for those same books! In an effort to take things out on a high note, our hosts wrap up the episode by trading answers to questions pulled from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 269: MAGA Revolt?!
Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Meredith Erin from the Boredwalk content team sit down to discuss all the recent(ish) happenings in the U.S., including: • A potential revolt brewing within MAGA, as luminaries such as Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green, Oklahoma governor Kevin Stitt, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski, and others decry the impact of deploying National Guard troops from one state to subjugate law-abiding citizens and legal immigrants in another state, covering up child abusers, and driving up costs via tariffs and the expiration of health insurance subsidies • Ongoing threats against citizens in states engaging in peaceful protests against the regime's authoritarian activities • The moral schism between those on the left and those on the right and their respective perceptions thereof Our hosts briefly check in on the latest dispatch from Troll-sylvania, this week's sick burn coming from someone trying (and failing) to insult members of our team by accusing us of sounding like we "must've went to college," which is hilarious on two counts: Thinking that a college education means you're stupid The incorrect grammar baked into the unsuccessful insult In an effort to take things out on a high note, our hosts wrap up the episode by trading answers to questions pulled from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 268: The baddest of bunnies
Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Gabe Sanchez from the Boredwalk content team sit down to discuss all the recent(ish) happenings in the U.S., including: • MAGA's overtly racist complaints about Puerto Rican (i.e., U.S. citizen) megastar Bad Bunny's selection as the next Super Bowl half-time show headliner • Donnie Smoothbrain's ongoing efforts to distract everyone from the fact that The Regime continues to withhold the release of the full un-redacted Epstein Files • The Regime's wasteful use of tax dollars to call 800+ active duty military officers home to... berate their physical fitness and tell "jokes" that no one in attendance laughed at • Murderous misogyny from a red pilled incel that got swept under the rug by his well-connected family members • The enshittification of society thanks to AI slop • ICE's unprovoked attacks on U.S. citizens • Incorrect assumptions about the quality of life in California based on propaganda being spread by right-wing media outlets and people in other states who have never even been to California To that end, our hosts then check in on the latest dispatches from Troll-sylvania, this time from one of the aforementioned ill-informed California haters, followed by a more positive review for our Grievance Journal! In an effort to take things out on a high note, our hosts wrap up the episode by trading answers to questions pulled from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! Ansley Hutchinson & Tess Menzies from the Boredwalk content team and Boredwalk founder Meredith Erin are back in your earballs to give recent spine-grower Gavin Newsom his flowers and weigh in on the latest embarrassments of the regime, including (but in no way limited to): • Charlie Kirk's bizarre funeral, including MAGA's misogynistic backlash against Erika Kirk, trad wife hypocrisy, and Stephen Miller's dangerous speech • MAGA's unsurprising and expected crashing of Grindr at the funeral, Donald Trump's weird obsession with men's bodies, and the phenomenon of closeted MAGA • Jimmy Kimmel's cancellation, Disney's backpedal, and the power of boycotts • TV writer Alex O'Keefe's racially motivated arrest • Making your resistance to fascism managable • MAGA's hatred of education Our hosts then check in on the latest dispatches from Troll-sylvania, and a review for our dystopian adult activity book Adventures In The Abyss! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 265: The Clown Car of Incompetence Trundles On
Ansley Hutchinson & Tess Menzies from the Boredwalk content team and Boredwalk founder Meredith Erin are back in your earballs to recap and comment on the latest embarrassments of the regime, including (but in no way limited to): • The FBI's poorly executed disposal of two pounds of methamphetamine using the incinerator in a Montana animal shelter, exposing animals and human workers to meth fumes and sending 14 staffers to the hospital. • ICE's racist and unlawful arrest and detention of South Korean citizens that were in the U.S. legally to set up factories and train U.S. workers on how to operate and maintain them. This episode of incompetence scuttled a trade deal that will cost the U.S. economy $350 billion dollars and thousands of jobs for U.S. workers in states that overwhelmingly voted for this clown car of incompetence. • Exploiting the murder of Charlie Kirk to curtail First Amendment protections; you know, the opposite of what noted champion of hate speech Charlie Kirk was all about. • Engaging in historical revisionism by eliminating studies from the Department of Justice's website that don't fit the MAGA narrative that political violence overwhelmingly comes from the left. The desiccated corpse of Joseph Stalin called and would like Donald to stop biting his moves. Our hosts then check in on the latest dispatches from Troll-sylvania, and a review for our new Sinister Affirmations card deck! In an effort to take things out on a high note, our hosts wrap up the episode by trading answers to questions pulled from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 264: Thoughts & Prayers — The Only Thing That Works!
Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Gabe Sanchez from the Boredwalk content team recap recent events in U.S. politics and policy and discuss our country's self-inflicted economic turmoil — particularly the damage done to MAGA-loving Arkansas & Georgia — and the continued erosion of civil liberties as the Supreme Court's conservative majority has green lit the return of racial profiling and the violation of Consitutional rights. Our hosts also touch on the Charlie Kirk situation, with Gabe indulging in a bit of electoral prognostication. The team then reacts to the latest dispatch from Troll-sylvania, with predictable commentary from the perpetually lonely males of the internet. In a desire to take things out on a high note, our hosts wrap up the episode by trading answers to questions pulled from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 263: Death — The Final Misdirection
Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Gabe Sanchez from the Boredwalk content team recap recent events in U.S. politics and policy and discuss the novel methods the regime is using to evade calls to release the Epstein Files, as well as JD Vance's pathetic obsequiousness as he licks his chops at the prospect of assuming the presidential mantle. It's truly impressive that he's able to walk upright with so little spine. Our hosts move on to less consequential examples of misdirection and distraction, like relocating the headquarters of the U.S. "Space Force" (insert eye roll here), various legal wins & losses handed to the regime courtesy of the courts, with the Supreme Court's looming decision on the regime's tariff scheme mere weeks away, which has significant implications on the cost of consumer goods during the holiday season. This is followed by a nice palate cleanser in the form of a glowing review for our "slightly imperfect" 90s activity book for adults Whatever! before diving right back into the muck to respond to a well-meaning — but nonetheless virtue signaling — "fan" who scolds us for "being divisive." Ansley astutely points out that we are merely reacting to the objectively more dangerous and divisive behavior and rhetoric of MAGA. In a desire to take things out on a high note, our hosts wrap up the episode by trading answers to questions pulled from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 262: Secession, but make it soft
The Boredwalk content team of Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Gabe Sanchez is back to discuss the so-called "soft secession" that is allegedly being discussed privately among the Democratic governors of certain majority-Democrat (aka "blue") states in response to the Trump regime's increasingly divisive and authoritarian policies and how that potential fracturing of the Union may take shape. We also revisit the topic of gerrymandering, the chaotic and economically damaging tariff policies and their contribution to the growing isolationist stance of the U.S. in relation to long-standing international allies, and the ongoing real-time decomposition of the supposed "strong man" at the heart of it all. Moving on, we check in with the latest dispatch from Troll-sylvania, where we get to respond to a virtue signaling scold who thinks what we do at Boredwalk is in some way a less form of resistance. Not sure how being tiresome and judgmental equates with being virtuous, but here we are. This is followed by a nice palate cleanser in the form of a glowing review for our Bloodthirsty & Bewitched goth activity book for adults before our hosts wrap up the episode by trading answers to questions pulled from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 261: Redistricting Ro-Sham-Bo!
The Boredwalk content team of Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Gabe Sanchez is back to discuss the controversial topic of gerrymandering and its impact on fair elections, particularly focusing on redistricting in the state of Texas. We explore how these practices affect political activism and California news, raising concerns about the future of democracy. Plus, we touch on Texas Governor Greg Abbott's role in these contentious issues and California Governor Gavin Newsom's plans to temporarily gerrymander California in response. We explain why we are voting "yes" on Proposition 50 in November's election in California to authorize this temporary redistricting counteroffensive, chat about Newsom's messaging pivot from squishy podcast host to social media trolling bad-ass, the naive and counter-productive purity testing of the left, Donald's new-found dislike of mail-in voting despite its popularity with his elderly base, as well as his feeble attempts to distract people from continuing to ask about the whereabouts of the Epstein Files. Moving on, we check in with the latest dispatch from Troll-sylvania, where we get to respond to a person who has never left his hometown, let alone his home state, claiming that California is a dystopian hellscape. This is followed by a nice palate cleanser as our hosts wrap up the episode by trading answers to questions pulled from our Delve Deck conversation card sets. This week we answer the questions "what trend do you hope never comes back into fashion?", "if you were a superhero, what would be your version of kryptonite?", and "what did you love as a kid that you still love as an adult?" The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 260: Marriage Equality AND Democracy At Risk!?!
Ansley is back in the driver's seat of the Boredwalk Podcast, and she is FIRED UP about MAGA's latest assaults on civil liberties — particularly long-forgotten serially divorced sister-wife Kim Davis's return to the national spotlight to resume her bigoted crusade to overturn the U.S. Supreme Court's 2015 Obergefell v. Hodges ruling that legalized same-sex marriage at the federal level. Ugh, give it up, you pathetic hose beast! Take your deviled eggs of hate back to your tacky double-wide hovel, stop being so obsessed with what other people do in their private lives, and do something constructive with your life! Maybe start with addressing your tragic wardrobe choices and regrettable hair situation. This leads into a discussion of Donald Trump's continued efforts to end free and fair elections and representative democracy more broadly in the U.S. as he races to complete Project 2025 and uses the National Guard and domestic militarization for his personal political vendettas. If you're concerned about U.S. politics and voting rights, you won't want to miss this episode full of Donald Trump news. We also discuss attacks on birth control, reproductive rights, and more! Moving on, we check in with the latest dispatch from Troll-sylvania, where we get to disabuse fragile men in the comments of the notion that misandry is a thing that exists (it does not). Astute listeners / viewers will note that the above sentence is unchanged from LAST week's episode description. That is because these soft little snowflakes cry about the same thing CONSTANTLY every freakin' week in our comments. At least be original with your whining, you pathetic red pill regressives! This is followed by a nice palate cleanser in the form of a glowing 5-star review for our newly-released Sinister Affirmations card deck, and then our hosts wrap up the episode by trading answers to questions pulled from our Delve Deck conversation card sets. This week we answer the questions "what is your least favorite home decor trend?", "what first made you realize you were getting old?", and "what's your favorite smell?" The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 259: Gerrymandering Mania!
This week Boredwalk co-founders Matt & Meredith fill in for Ansley & Gabe and join Tess to discuss Texas's gerrymandering shenanigans and the countermeasures that California and other majority Democrat states are proposing to neutralize this grotesque power grab. This leads into a conversation about the much-needed shift in attitude and tactics by Democratic leadership away from adhering to institutional norms in order to "take the high road" and instead meet Republican legislators at their own level (i.e., the gutter). We also check in on the continued very illegal and morally disgusting kidnappings of US citizens and legal residents by ICE agents in Los Angeles and around the rest of the country, and how generally conservative economic policies are worse for the majority of the country — including businesses — despite the GOP being associated with sound economic policy. It's truly maddening that so many voters continue to be hoodwinked by this boondoggle. Moving on, we check in with the latest dispatch from Troll-sylvania, where we get to disabuse fragile men in the comments of the notion that misandry is a thing that exists (it does not). This is followed by a nice palate cleanser in the form of a glowing 5-star review for our newly-released Sinister Affirmations card deck, and then we wrap up the episode by trading answers to questions pulled from our Delve Deck conversation card sets. This week Boredwalk co-founder Matt Snow fills in for Ansley Hutchinson and discusses current events with Gabe Sanchez & Tess Menzies. Strap in, because it's a wild one! The evidence mounts that Donald Trump is in the Epstein Files. We discuss Trump’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein, his past behavior that indicates his history as a sexual predator, and the connection between Trump's Republican party and sex offenders. Spoiler alert: they sure seem to go together like peas & carrots! Given that, the team also discusses the growing list of MAGA GOP politicians and supporters getting arrested for sex crimes. The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 254: Big Beautiful Boondoggle
This week on the Boredwalk Podcast Tess Menzies, Gabe Sanchez, and Boredwalk co-founder Meredith Erin discuss the GOP's reckless "Big Beautiful Bill" (AKA "Big Bloated Bill"). MAGA Republicans are adding to the federal deficit at unprecedented scale to fund their racist attacks on immigrants and Latinos while simultaneously actively harming U.S. citizens more broadly via Medicaid cuts that have already led to hospital & clinic closures in rural areas. We talk about the obscene spending on Trump's "Alligator Alcatraz" concentration camp (AKA Alligator Auschwitz) and the human rights atrocities being committed with our tax dollars. The regime's decision to use FEMA funds meant to help Americans in times of natural disasters, instead being diverted to fund torture prisons. The land has been stolen from Florida's indigenous people and will be used to keep immigrants in deplorable conditions with inadequate food, water, medical care, or sanitation. We also discuss the nonsensical nature of these decisions from an economic perspective, the decreasing value of the U.S. dollar, the unnecessary tax cuts for the rich, and staggering MAGA Republican wealth transfer from the poorest Americans to the richest. Immigrants grow the economy and provide tremendous value to society, removing them from communities does economic harm. Trump and his MAGA cult continue to try to normalize fascism, kidnappings, and human rights violations. These people lack decency and empathy. We must continue to resist. Our co-hosts wrap things up on a lighter note by taking turns answering questions from Boredwalk’s Delve Deck conversation card sets! They answered the questions "what's the worst advice you've ever received?", "what is something you ate regularly as a kid that you wouldn't touch now?", and "what is a quality in others that you admire?" The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 250: No Kings, Just Monsters
Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Gabe Sanchez of the Boredwalk content team shares the reality of life in Los Angeles during the anti-Trump "No Kings" protests. Spoiler alert: The protests are peaceful and there are no riots. The only ones being violent are the police. Our Los Angeles-based team points out the dishonesty in the media's portrayals of protest activity in our city. We talk about the spread of anti-Trump protests throughout the U.S. and the disproportionate response of the Trump regime sending in the U.S. military to deter people from exercising their First Amendment rights. We also discuss Trump's hollow threats to defund California, ICE terrorizing immigrants and U.S. citizens alike, violence against the press and peaceful protesters, and the deeper slide of the U.S. into authoritarianism. We also weigh in on the value of showing U.S. flags at protests, and the Trump regime's progress on project 2025. Our co-hosts wrap things up on a lighter note by taking turns answering questions from Boredwalk’s Delve Deck conversation card sets! They answered the questions "what did you splurge on that you regret in hindsight?", "what is something other people find gross that doesn't bother you?", and "what is your favorite curse word?" The Boredwalk content team of Tess Menzies & Ansley Hutchinson — with a special appearance by Boredwalk CEO Meredith Erin — talks about threats to U.S. judges ruling against the Trump regime. They also rant about the hypocrisy of the regime regarding immigration; while kicking existing non-violent immigrants out of the country the regime has welcomed 17 members of the Sinaloa cartel crime family into the U.S. along with white South Africans. Our hosts also discuss the regime's attacks on Harvard University and international university students, Donald Trump's cryptocurrency bribery scheme, the cowardice of Republican lawmakers, and Kristi Noem's inability to understand the meaning of habeas corpus. The episode wraps up with the team talking about the importance of staying informed, roasting a troll comment on one of our recent social media posts, and trading answers to questions from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 248: Free speech? What's that? Sounds made up.
Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Gabe Sanchez from Boredwalk’s content team dissect & discuss the latest attempts by the regime and its supporters to quell criticism of said clown car of incompetent governance. This includes but is not limited to: threatening to make an example of national musical treasures Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen, and Taylor Swift, Queen of All Media Oprah, and others for expressing an opinion about THEIR EMPLOYEE'S JOB PERFORMANCE. And make no mistake, whether you voted for The Idiot or not, he IS our employee and works for us. Our co-hosts also read & react to troll comments regarding our social content, which is always a good time! Nothing like hearing from the men (derogatory) that our content isn't made for OR directed at about how trying the "male loneliness epidemic" is. You wanna be less lonely? Take a shower, shave, put on some clothes that fit you properly, leave the smelly gaming hovel you so generously refer to as "home," and join a frickin' book club. Moving on... the team read a review from a happy customer about their fun new die-cut stickers from Boredwalk, and then took turns answering questions from Boredwalk’s Delve Deck conversation card sets! They answered the questions "what is the worst place you've ever lived?", "what is your most trivial problem right now?", and "what is your favorite season and why?" Our co-hosts also read & react to troll comments regarding our social content, which is always a good time! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 244: What Can You Do? Lotsa Things!
Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Gabe Sanchez from Boredwalk's content team run through recent current events in the U.S. and what normal citizens can do to help stave off the encroaching fascist authoritarianism of the Trump regime. It's a great primer and source of encouragement for resisting that ANYONE can engage in. You don't need to be a full-time activist, you don't need to come up with creative and witty protest signs — these are EASY things you can do in your daily life if you are concerned about racial profiling, imprisonment and/or deportation without due process, and rolling back protections for the bodily autonomy and electoral agency of women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ folks, etc. Sometimes it's as easy as just paying attention. Yeah, it's a downer, but so is watching your favorite sports team lose or your favorite reality show twit getting voted off Idiot Island. Maybe take one night off from the trivial brainrot each week and stay informed by consuming news from legit media outlets with contrasting viewpoints to get a balanced take on what is going on, because this is what will help improve the economy and protect your friends and neighbors and family members from being wrongfully accused, jailed, or attacked by the government and the brainwashed citizens who think that stuff is OK. After a nice palate cleanser courtesy of customer CP's review of their copy of our 90s activity book Whatever!, our intrepid co-hosts send the episode out by sharing their own answers to questions from Boredwalk's Delve Deck conversation card sets! They share their thoughts on: things they wished they had known sooner, the best things that have ever been said to them, and the foods they could eat every day without getting tired of them. We're so pleased to be spending time in your ear balls. Come commiserate & laugh with us!
