The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 250: No Kings, Just Monsters
Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Gabe Sanchez of the Boredwalk content team shares the reality of life in Los Angeles during the anti-Trump "No Kings" protests. Spoiler alert: The protests are peaceful and there are no riots. The only ones being violent are the police. Our Los Angeles-based team points out the dishonesty in the media's portrayals of protest activity in our city. We talk about the spread of anti-Trump protests throughout the U.S. and the disproportionate response of the Trump regime sending in the U.S. military to deter people from exercising their First Amendment rights. We also discuss Trump's hollow threats to defund California, ICE terrorizing immigrants and U.S. citizens alike, violence against the press and peaceful protesters, and the deeper slide of the U.S. into authoritarianism. We also weigh in on the value of showing U.S. flags at protests, and the Trump regime's progress on project 2025. Our co-hosts wrap things up on a lighter note by taking turns answering questions from Boredwalk’s Delve Deck conversation card sets! They answered the questions "what did you splurge on that you regret in hindsight?", "what is something other people find gross that doesn't bother you?", and "what is your favorite curse word?" The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 249: Felonious Failures
The Boredwalk content team of Tess Menzies & Ansley Hutchinson — with a special appearance by Boredwalk CEO Meredith Erin — talks about threats to U.S. judges ruling against the Trump regime. They also rant about the hypocrisy of the regime regarding immigration; while kicking existing non-violent immigrants out of the country the regime has welcomed 17 members of the Sinaloa cartel crime family into the U.S. along with white South Africans. Our hosts also discuss the regime's attacks on Harvard University and international university students, Donald Trump's cryptocurrency bribery scheme, the cowardice of Republican lawmakers, and Kristi Noem's inability to understand the meaning of habeas corpus. The episode wraps up with the team talking about the importance of staying informed, roasting a troll comment on one of our recent social media posts, and trading answers to questions from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 248: Free speech? What's that? Sounds made up.
Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Gabe Sanchez from Boredwalk’s content team dissect & discuss the latest attempts by the regime and its supporters to quell criticism of said clown car of incompetent governance. This includes but is not limited to: threatening to make an example of national musical treasures Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen, and Taylor Swift, Queen of All Media Oprah, and others for expressing an opinion about THEIR EMPLOYEE'S JOB PERFORMANCE. And make no mistake, whether you voted for The Idiot or not, he IS our employee and works for us. Our co-hosts also read & react to troll comments regarding our social content, which is always a good time! Nothing like hearing from the men (derogatory) that our content isn't made for OR directed at about how trying the "male loneliness epidemic" is. You wanna be less lonely? Take a shower, shave, put on some clothes that fit you properly, leave the smelly gaming hovel you so generously refer to as "home," and join a frickin' book club. Moving on... the team read a review from a happy customer about their fun new die-cut stickers from Boredwalk, and then took turns answering questions from Boredwalk’s Delve Deck conversation card sets! They answered the questions "what is the worst place you've ever lived?", "what is your most trivial problem right now?", and "what is your favorite season and why?" Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Gabe Sanchez from Boredwalk’s content team discuss the bizarre obsession MAGA has with making and fawning over very homoerotic AI fan art of The Idiot. They also weigh in on the regime's recent decision to reopen the dilapidated island prison Alcatraz. So much for vanquishing waste, fraud, and abuse! Our co-hosts also read & react to troll comments regarding our social content, which is always a good time! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 245: Positivity? In THIS economy?!
Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Matt Snow from Boredwalk’s content team discuss recent signs of cracks in the Trump regime. We talk about Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers standing up to the regime and demanding that ICE obey the law. We also talk about Harvard University's success standing up to the Trump regime. Ansley shares a recent turning point conversation she had with her Trump-voting dad, and Tess tells us about West Hollywood's success in tossing a Matt Gaetz rally out of the neighborhood. The team read a review from Robin about the Grievance Journal, roasted a troll comment, and then took turns answering questions from Boredwalk’s Delve Deck conversation card sets! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 244: What Can You Do? Lotsa Things!
Ansley Hutchinson, Tess Menzies, and Gabe Sanchez from Boredwalk's content team run through recent current events in the U.S. and what normal citizens can do to help stave off the encroaching fascist authoritarianism of the Trump regime. It's a great primer and source of encouragement for resisting that ANYONE can engage in. You don't need to be a full-time activist, you don't need to come up with creative and witty protest signs — these are EASY things you can do in your daily life if you are concerned about racial profiling, imprisonment and/or deportation without due process, and rolling back protections for the bodily autonomy and electoral agency of women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ folks, etc. Sometimes it's as easy as just paying attention. Yeah, it's a downer, but so is watching your favorite sports team lose or your favorite reality show twit getting voted off Idiot Island. Maybe take one night off from the trivial brainrot each week and stay informed by consuming news from legit media outlets with contrasting viewpoints to get a balanced take on what is going on, because this is what will help improve the economy and protect your friends and neighbors and family members from being wrongfully accused, jailed, or attacked by the government and the brainwashed citizens who think that stuff is OK. After a nice palate cleanser courtesy of customer CP's review of their copy of our 90s activity book Whatever!, our intrepid co-hosts send the episode out by sharing their own answers to questions from Boredwalk's Delve Deck conversation card sets! They share their thoughts on: things they wished they had known sooner, the best things that have ever been said to them, and the foods they could eat every day without getting tired of them. The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 243: Blasphemous Humors
Tess, Ansley, and Gabe weigh in on the cognitive dissonance of evangelical MAGA's weird (and blasphemous) idolatry of their felonious orange demigogue. Kind of makes you wish the book of Revelation was real. Rapture, take us away! They also weigh in on recent bills making their way through (red) state legislatures that are clearly designed to facilitate harming children. Ansley then shouts out patient Boredwalk fans who are willing to engage with dum-dums in our social comments so we don't have to. You da real MVPs! After a nice palate cleanser courtesy of customer Andrew W's review of his new Worse Days Ahead tank top, our intrepid co-hosts send the episode out by sharing their own answers to questions from Boredwalk's Delve Deck conversation card sets! They share their thoughts on: the use of tax dollars that bothers them most, which songs must be played at their funerals, and their favorite buzzes. The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 242: Best Frenemies Forever?
Ansley, Gabe, and Tess from the Boredwalk content team are back, and Ansley uses the latest Chappell Roan controversy to spark an interesting convo about socio-political in-fighting amongst groups that should be busy building coalitions with each other instead of constantly vilifying people they agree with 95% of the time. Great advice! Tess & Gabe do an excellent job of dissecting how this sort of performative virtue signaling and litmus testing alienates and radicalizes people and pushes them into the open arms of hate groups who use kindness as a Trojan horse to grow their ranks. This dovetails with our co-hosts' response to a recent troll comment on one of Boredwalk's social media posts claiming that "content creator" isn't a real job, which is news to all of us, lol. After a nice palate cleanser courtesy of fan Audrey Lucero's positive feedback and customer Kev's review of our Grievance Journal, our intrepid co-hosts send the episode out by sharing their own answers to questions from Boredwalk's Delve Deck conversation card sets! They share their thoughts on the biggest misconceptions about where they live, which sounds instantly stress them out, and the life experiences they've had that ended up being a lot better than they anticipated. The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 241: "These faces are (still) making us thirsty!" - Leopards, definitely
Due to your insatiable appetite for schadenfreude, the leopards are back for a second helping of MAGA faces! Ansley, Gabe, and Tess read and react to more news items of MAGA cultists getting exactly what they voted for last November. Everyone at Boredwalk HQ would much rather trade these snickers in for a functional democracy to replace the overtly racist and lawless authoritarian regime the red-hatted, non-voting, and 3rd-party-voting idiots have saddled the rest of us with, but when life gives you lemons, you gotta make that lemonade, y'know? As before — and still amazingly — many of these members of the Leopards Ate My Face party continue to support Trump's overall agenda and behavior even as they list all the ways his policies have negatively impacted them and their loved ones. Cults, amirite? After wallowing in disgust at MAGA cultists' persistent idiocy, our intrepid co-hosts enjoy a conversational palate cleanser courtesy of our Delve Deck conversation card sets! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 240: Resistance? Yes, Please!
We're back with another mini-episode! Tess Menzies & Ansley Hutchinson from Boredwalk's content team share some actionable ways that U.S. citizens who are unhappy with the way the new regime is operating can stand up against encroaching fascism. These include: • Voting! Not just every four years during presidential elections, but in local and midterm elections whenever they pop up! None of this "mY vOtE dOeSn'T mAtTeR" nonsense. Live in a deep blue area and think your vote isn't "needed"? WRONG! Run up the score! Make it crystal clear to supporters of "the other candidate(s)" that their ideas and priorities are unpopular. Live in a deep red area and think there's no way your vote can sway things? WRONG! Make the elected officials who win aware that their constituency isn't monolithic and that you and your likeminded voters expect a seat at the table, regardless of the electoral outcome! • Coalition building! Stop in-fighting and purity testing! Find common ground with the folks you disagree with least and form a coalition with them to tackle the biggest problems that you DO agree on! • Be media literate! Don't get sucked into arguments with bots and human trolls. It saps your energy and makes you feel like the other side is bigger than it is. Every social platform has mute, block, or restrict features. Use them to your advantage. • Talk openly and proudly about your values and how bad policies are directly impacting you and the people you care about. This helps turn the tide as far as approval ratings and gets other people fired up and engaged. Our co-hosts then read and respond to some recent social media comments on Boredwalk's posts, as well as a recent product review from a customer. Things wrap up with Tess, Ansley, and Meredith trading personal anecdotes sparked by questions from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! They share which habits other people have that are annoying from the Venting Edition, and their favorite things on the internet from the Joy Edition. The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 239: Due Process Delinquency
In a rare treat since our return from podcasting hiatus, Boredwalk co-founder Meredith Erin sits in with Tess Menzies & Ansley Hutchinson from the content team to discuss the shockingly unconstitutional disregard of due process the new administration in the U.S. has been engaged in. Meredith breaks down what due process is, describes some of the recent incidents of the federal government infringing on civil liberties of visitors and immigrants here in the U.S. legally, and why that is a threat to every U.S. citizen. We'd be remiss if we just offered problems with no solutions, though! Meredith shares some really easy, low-effort ways to make your voice heard and put pressure on your elected representatives to fight back against this lawlessness. Our co-hosts then read and respond to some recent social media comments on Boredwalk's posts, dissecting what misinformation & disinformation actually looks like in practice. Things wrap up with Tess, Ansley, and Meredith trading personal anecdotes sparked by questions from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! They share opinions on restaurants whose popularity baffles them, hypocritical behaviors that annoy them most, and things that each of them considers to be an area of personal expertise. The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 238: Once, Twice, Three Times a Failure
Ansley Hutchinson and Tess Menzies are back (sans our sickly pal Gabe Sanchez) to play a fun new game called "What's Going On Up There?" where they discuss three of the Trump administrations myriad (and ongoing) failures! First up: Usha & JD Vance's embarrassing imperialist envoy to Greenland! Secondly: Inflation is up, and consumer confidence is down. So much for "fixing" the "broken" economy on "Day One!" (Note: this was recorded prior to the "Liberation Day" press conference that resulted in a historic stock market meltdown that, as of this writing, is still ongoing.) Finally: Unemployment is up, courtesy of hundreds of thousands of federal workers being abruptly laid off, just in time for tariff-induced inflation! Are we great yet or what?! Our co-hosts then discuss the cultural discourse bubbling up about U.S. citizens emigrating to less embarrassing countries and the practicalities and impracticalities associated with such a major life decision. Things wrap up with Tess & Ansley trading personal anecdotes sparked by questions from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! They share stories about seemingly small white lies that backfired on them, and things that they were into before they became popular. We're so pleased to be spending time in your ear balls. The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 237: Spare me your huddled masses; y'all got any more of them Russian oligarchs?
Ansley, Gabe, and Tess are back in action calling out hypocrisy and nonsense left and (especially) right! They point out the obvious projection on display in the Arkansas GOP's efforts to clearly criminalize (yet vaguely define) the innocuous things that constitute "gender-affirming social transitioning" activities that give them the ick. What snowflakes! Tess also touches on the role that mockery and satire plays in fighting authoritarianism, Gabe dissects the extrajudicial grotesqueries that ICE and the DOJ are engaged in to keep us safe from autism activists & gay makeup artists, and Ansley dives into the distressing difficulties that both full U.S. citizens and legal green card & work visa holders are having coming and going between the U.S. and other countries. No wonder France wants the Statue of Liberty back! Our co-hosts then discuss the latest dispatches from the Land of the Trolls before giving a shoutout to happy customer Arto for his glowing review of our Delve Deck Joy Edition. The team wraps things up with personal stories sparked by questions from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! They share which musical artists they never want to hear again, where they would hide out during a zombie apocalypse, and what their favorite memories are. Always end on an up note! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 236: Pick Up The Pace, Apocalypse! Move Your Feet!
It's a full house — or recording studio, anyway — as Gabe has escaped from New York and returned to join Ansley & Tess on the latest episode of the Boredwalk Podcast! Keeping up with the pace of the unrelenting torrent of horrifyingly inhumane, bewilderingly incompetent, and breathtakingly stupid news items emanating from the stygian sludge of the broken commode where sound policy goes to die formerly known as the Oval Office can be tougher than containing a fast break in a lopsided March Madness matchup, but the Boredwalk content team always rises to the occasion! They discuss recent attempts to get a tired MAGA insult legally classified as a mental disorder, the uptick in moderates and liberals arming and learning to defend themselves, embarrassing diplomatic gaffes that further isolate the United States from its historical (and likely to soon be former) geopolitical allies, and the growing list of ways in which the Trump 2.0 administration is failing to follow through on its campaign promises to his own supporters, including stopping inflation, reducing food prices and the cost of living more broadly, jumpstarting the U.S.'s long-dormant manufacturing sector, negotiating peace between Ukraine and Russia, etc. It's all exhausting enough to make you want to cheer the apocalypse on instead of forestalling its arrival, tbh. Our co-hosts then check in on Boredwalk's social comment trolls and enjoy a good eye roll and chuckle at the ignorance and insanity on display in that icky little cesspool before wiping the slate clean with a nice review for one of our cozy hoodies! The team wraps things up with personal stories sparked by questions from our Delve Deck conversation card sets! They share their least-favorite ages (and why), what feels like therapy to them (that isn't actual therapy), and a quality in others they each admire. The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 235: "These faces are making us thirsty!" - Leopards, probably
Gabe is gallivanting around NYC, so Ansley & Tess are holding down the fort this week on the Boredwalk Podcast! The topic du jour is the slightly satisfying schadenfreude Kamala Harris supporters have been enjoying over the last several weeks as Donnie Smoothbrain voters (and their morally bankrupt non-voting brethren) have realized that many of his policies are hurting them directly via higher prices on food, layoffs related to Elon's DOGE cuts, slow and insufficient responses to natural disasters triggered by cuts to FEMA funding and staffing, and tanking stock prices caused by chaotic and untargeted tariffs. It's been a predictable deluge of "but I thought he'd hurt OTHER people, not ME" whining. Amazingly, many of these members of the Leopards Ate My Face party continue to support Trump even as they list all the ways his policies have negatively impacted them. Delusion is a helluva drug! After wallowing in disgust at MAGA cultists' steadfast willful ignorance, our intrepid co-hosts enjoy a conversational palate cleanser courtesy of our Delve Deck conversation card sets! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 233: Bully the bullies?!
Join us as Boredwalk's content team — Tess Menzies, Ansley Hutchinson, and Gabe Sanchez — discuss the current events of the last week! Gabe has an incredulous and exasperated take on the chaos of the U.S.'s political leadership! Tess makes a compelling case for the effectiveness of bullying the bullies, citing their notoriously thin skin! Ansley delivers a general cry for help from (apparently former) geo-political allies before redirecting the conversation to lighter fare — namely, the newest season of Netflix's hit reality show Love Is Blind. Nothing like a little reality slop to wash the news of the hellscape down! Ansley also shares a recent customer review for Boredwalk's goth activity book Bloodthirsty & Bewitched, because it turns out she's actually a huge fan? Sweet for us! All three co-hosts then dive into fascinating discussions courtesy of our Delve Deck conversation card sets! Tess thinks shrimp are an abomination unfit for human consumption, and Gabe declares that society needs to re-think the arbitrary decision to prohibit drinking before 5pm. We agree on both counts! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 232: We Are So Back!
After a VERY extended hiatus of... 18-ish months? ... the Boredwalk Podcast is BACK! Join our content team — aka Tess Menzies, Ansley Hutchinson, and Gabe Sanchez — as they discuss current events! Gabe is very upset about the price of eggs and dishes on Elon's love life (gross). Tess & Ansley wish people like Gabe would stop whining about eggs. All three co-hosts ponder the warped psychology of the social media troll, and then dive into fascinating discussions courtesy of our Delve Deck conversation card sets! We're so pleased to be back in your ear balls. Come listen & laugh with us! And if you'd like to have conversations as thrilling and hilarious as this one, head on over to to pick up your own Delve Decks! FOLLOW US: FACEBOOK ► INSTAGRAM ► THREADS ► TIKTOK ►

The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 231: Bungled burgling
This week on the podcast: • Meredith provides listeners (and co-host Tess) with a more comprehensive update on Boredwalk's string of office burglaries. • Tess then shares the most recent dispatches from Trollsylvania, and since it's election season they're particularly bizarre and unhinged. • Tess cleanses the palate with a delightful review from customer Victoria regarding her copy of our 1990s activity book Whatever! • Tess then reads fan responses to the recent Question of the Day (pulled from the Delve Deck's Joy Edition expansion pack) "What is the best encounter you ever had with a stranger?" This yielded some wholesome and heartwarming stories before she & Meredith share their own answers! • They then wrap up the episode trading answers to the questions "If you could make any one thing true, what would you pick?", "What's something people don't worry about but should?", and "What's your go-to footwear?" from the new Delve Deck beach balls! If you think the Delve Deck questions and the conversations they sparked sound fun, head over to Boredwalk.com and pick up sets of either the cards or beach balls for yourself! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 230: Creator Takeover!
This week on the podcast: • Regular co-host Tess Menzies is joined by slightly less-regular (but still pretty regular) Boredwalk content creator Gabe Sanchez! Boredwalk co-founders Meredith & Matt have had their hands full helping the rest of the Boredwalk team print & ship orders following our most recent office burglary, so Tess & Gabe have the run of the place (or at least the recording equipment)! • Tess gives an update on law enforcement's attempts to apprehend the criminals behind the heist, and there's good news to report! • She also shares two of the most recent dispatches from Trollsylvania, and Gabe weighs in on their low-energy misspelled insults directed at cats, women, and well-adjusted men. • Tess washes that bad troll-taste out of our ears with a nice 5-star review of Boredwalk's Delve Deck Joy Edition from customer Kristy! • Tess then reads fan responses to the recent Question of the Day (pulled from the Joy Edition's darker half, the Venting Edition) "What's the worst date you ever went on?" This yielded some amusing stories before she & Gabe shared their own wild answers! • They then wrap up the episode trading answers to the questions "What trait do you think makes someone a good romantic partner?", "What's the weirdest thing you Googled recently?", and "Which famous person probably has the best stories?" from the new Delve Deck beach balls! If you think the Delve Deck questions and the conversations they sparked sound fun, head over to Boredwalk.com and pick up sets of either the cards or beach balls for yourself! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 229: You have GOT to be kidding me
This week on the podcast: • Meredith & Tess discuss Boredwalk's most recent office break-in & burglary — the third in six months — and local law enforcement's lackadaisical response to it! • Meredith then discusses an actually useful application for artificial intelligence that Boredwalk is experimenting with: social media comment moderation! • The latest dispatch from Trollsylvania is a treasure trove of misogyny! Tess shares and makes fun of the most rabidly incoherent of the crop. • They then both laugh at a recent 3-star review of our 1990s activity book that disappointed the customer because it was... exactly as described? Make it make sense! • Tess then reads fan responses to the recent Question of the Day (pulled from the Delve Deck Joy Edition) "What is the nicest thing someone has done for you?" before she & Meredith share their own answers! • They then wrap up the episode trading answers to the questions "What part of your job are you really great at?", "What's the weirdest thing you've seen in public?", and "Which polite social convention could you do without?" from the new Delve Deck beach balls! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 228: Life comes at you fast in 2024!
This week on the podcast: • Meredith & Tess weigh in on last week's seismic political news! • Tess regrets her choice to see Twisters in 4D! • Our co-hosts check in with the latest dispatches from Trollsylvania, and my-oh-my, are the misogynists upset by the prospect of a woman being elected President of the United States! • They then both share recent reviews from happy Boredwalk customers, which is delightful! • Tess then reads fan responses to the recent Question of the Day (pulled from the Delve Deck Joy Edition) "What movies always make you laugh even if you've seen them millions of times?" before she & Meredith share their own answers! • They then wrap up the episode trading answers to the questions "What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done?", "How did you come up with your first internet username?", and "Which famous person do you think has been judged too harshly by the public?" from the new Delve Deck beach balls! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 227: Greetings from Trollsylvania!
This week on the podcast: • Meredith & Tess briefly touch on the implications of the recent political drama unfolding in American politics, but the REAL drama is Meredith's broken A/C wreaking havoc on her work schedule. Don't inanimate objects realize humans have things to do?! • Tess checks in with the goings on in Trollsylvania, and things are just as cognitively dissonant as ever over there. It's almost like it's a feature and not a bug! • We also hear from some happy fans & customers, which is delightful! • Tess then reads fan responses to the recent Question of the Day (pulled from the original Delve Deck) "What ingredient always ruins a dish?" before she & Meredith share their own answers! • They then wrap up the episode trading answers to the questions "What is your least favorite place and why?", "What life experience doesn't live up to the hype?", and "Which fictional character is best dressed?" from the new Delve Deck beach balls! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 226: The future, here today!
This week on the podcast: • Meredith & Tess weigh in on technology's inexorable march toward our (more) dystopian future. Ride share apps with armed drivers? IRL incarceration replaced by traumatic memory implants of imprisonment? Group vacations hosted by influencers? Say less, Future! • They then endeavor to distill a week's worth of comment troll insanity into a few minutes. Despite a wealth of source material they manage to do it! • Tess balances out the crazy with a nice review from Boredwalk customer Donna about her new Curse Your Heart t-shirt. • Tess then reads fan responses to the recent Question of the Day (pulled from the original Delve Deck) "What do you think people shouldn't be scared of?" before she & Meredith share their own answers! • They then wrap up the episode trading answers to the questions "Who do you have the most compassion for?", "What's your wildest work story of all-time?", and "What would change about the internet if you could?" from the new Delve Deck beach balls! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 225: diD yOu CrEdiT ThE aRtIsTs?
This week on the podcast: • Meredith checks in with the maniacs in Boredwalk's social media comments, and have some choice words for a particularly egregious gutter goblin named Tiffany! • Not to be outdone, Tess takes aim at the culturally deficient troglodytes who are unfamiliar with the Bloody Mary urban legend, think that all 60-second videos they see online of people sitting in their cars talking into their phones are factually accurate documentaries, or believe that content creators owe them something in addition to FREE AMUSEMENT! • Speaking of free amusement, head over to our YouTube channel (linked below) to see Tess and Gabe Sanchez read & react to stories inspired by Delve Deck questions that were submitted by fans — possibly you! • Thankfully it's not ALL haters in our midst — Tess shares a kindhearted review from Boredwalk customer Adam about his recent order and our dedication to providing exemplary customer service! • Tess then reads fan responses to the recent Question of the Day (pulled from the Delve Deck Venting Edition) "What personality trait is overrated?" before she & Meredith share their own answers! • They then wrap up the episode trading answers to the questions "What do you consider your best physical feature?", "What makes you feel taken for granted?", and "What's your all-time favorite TV show?" from the new Delve Deck beach balls! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 224: You call that depression?!
This week on the podcast: • Meredith & Tess peel the curtain back on the thought processes that go into Boredwalk's short-form video content on social media, which — obviously — leads to a discussion about the weird ways in which society quantifies depression. TOTALLY NORMAL DISCOURSE. • This rolls into a conversation about the toxicity of the Main Character Syndrome that is endemic to the internet and has reached plague levels on social media. • Tess then shares a kind review from Boredwalk customer Angela about her recent purchase of our Here For a Good Time, Not a Long Time tee. Fun! • Things get dark when Tess reads fan responses to the recent Question of the Day (pulled from the Delve Deck Venting Edition) "What was your version of 'the fantasy was better than the reality?'" before she & Meredith share their own answers! • They then wrap up the episode trading answers to the questions "What's your morning routine?", "Would you ever be willing to go on a reality show, and if so, which one?", and "What is harder to find than a needle in a haystack?" from the new Delve Deck beach balls! The Boredwalk Podcast Episode 223: Skibidi Hawk Tuah
This week on the podcast: • Meredith is salty about badly behaved Boredwalk vendors! • Tess & Meredith are perplexed by and endeavor to understand the Gen Alpha cultural dominance of Skibidi Toilet, which leads to a discussion about the digital landfill that is the 21st century internet! • Speaking of our collectively unhinged techno-toilet, our co-hosts read and react to the best (and by best we mean worst) comments from trolls on Boredwalk's social media post from the last week! We get treated to one troll who said the quiet part loud regarding their true intentions, and another who got a crash course in how jokes work. • Meredith & Tess then share reviews from a couple Boredwalk customers, and Tess reads fan responses to the recent Delve Deck Joy Edition Question of the Day "What do you find calming?" before she & Meredith share their own answers! • They then wrap up the episode trading answers to the questions "What will be more popular in the future?", "What food have you never eaten but would really like to try?", and "What do you resent paying for the most?" from the new Delve Deck beach balls! If you think the Delve Deck questions and the conversations they sparked sound fun, head over to Boredwalk.com and pick up sets of either the cards or beach balls for yourself!
