Then, Sarah Dutch returns for a full pulse check on the Virtual Nursing pilot program: How it's streamlining discharges with virtual nurses handling admin tasks. Next, we dive into an exciting update on our new Electronic Health Record (EHR) project, funded by an $18.9 million New York State grant. This major initiative will replace six separate systems with one integrated platform to improve care coordination, access, and the overall patient experience. Voting is now open for the project's name! The four finalists are: Care Sync – Emphasizing coordination and harmony Health Bridge – Building stronger connections between providers, departments, and patients Synergy – Unified strength that's greater than the sum of its parts Romulus – A foundational, enduring system inspired by the legendary founder of Rome The new system (and possibly the patient portal) is slated to go live in December 2027. CIO Nancy Levett shares the guiding principles: safety & security, reliability & efficiency, fiscal responsibility, integration, and analytics—all rooted in our mission, vision, and values. Joining AnneMarie is special guest Sarah Grocholski, Director of IT at Rome Health. With 24 years at the organization—from nursing aide and ICU monitor tech to bedside nurse and IT educator since 2011—Sarah leads a talented team of 14 handling help desk, networking, printing, and telecom.
