At the time of this recording she was a Director and Associate Professor at Yale School of Medicine. She has now taken on a new role at Stanford University's medical school. She then poured her energy into something that she loved - grammar - and founded Whitesmoke, an English grammar checking software. Her company accomplished what few tech startups achieve, it became a publicly traded company.
