EP957 - Janylène Turcotte on entrepreneurs exiting and search for identities
In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to Janylène Turcotte. Janylène talks to us about entrepreneurs exiting and search for identities. Janylène Turcotte spent 25 years as a senior HR executive, the last stretch at Deloitte. She served as an integrator on several deals — inside the due diligence, close to the moment a business changes hands — guiding people and organizations through transition and transformation. Then her own role ended — not on her terms. She walked out of that meeting feeling like she'd left a coat at the door. Over the emptying weeks that followed, she realized how much of who she thought she was had been the coat. The title. The brand. The identity she'd worn without noticing. She knows first-hand the particular silence of a calendar that suddenly clears. That's the terrain she now walks with founders who are exiting their business. Because when an entrepreneur sells the company they built, they're surrounded by people — finance, tax, lawyers, advisors — and every one of them has a stake in the outcome. Nobody in that room is there simply for them. Nobody's only job is to help them digest what it means to hand over the thing that's carried their identity for years — or to answer the question that lands the morning after the deal closes: who am I now, and what was all of this for? Today Janylène is the founder of Hypnocoach, a clinical hypnotherapist and ICF-certified coach (ACC) with more than 1,500 sessions behind her. Trained in Rapid Transformational Therapy under Marisa Peer, she works underneath the strategy — with the beliefs and the meaning no spreadsheet in the process ever touches. Her method, Peel Back, Rewire, Rise, is built for exactly this: the identity shift a successful exit sets off, and the reinvention that has to follow it. She's practical, not mystical. Warm, and direct. She earned a merit scholarship at HEC on her academic results and cut her teeth selling encyclopedias door to door — rigour and hustle in equal measure, and little patience for fluffy personal-development promises. For the founder walking toward the exit, she's the one person in the process with no skin in the game, whose only job is to be there for them. EP956 - Dr. Theresa Pantanella on Marketing Misdiagnosis and Why Treating Symptoms Is Killing Your Business
In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to Dr. Theresa Pantanella. Dr. Theresa talks to us about Marketing Misdiagnosis: Why Treating Symptoms Is Killing Your Business (And the Systemic Cure). Dr. Theresa Pantanella is Your Doctor of Marketing. She spent 24 years in healthcare as a doctoral-level occupational therapist, building a seven-clinic outpatient business in South Florida on a single service and scaling it into high six figures through pure operational systemization. Today, she applies that exact same diagnostic rigor to business growth. Where most marketers treat surface-level symptoms, Theresa diagnoses the hidden operational breakdowns in a business's marketing and builds the AI-powered systems that permanently fix them. Her frameworks have generated over $13 million in revenue for clients ranging from doctoral experts to seven-figure enterprises. She is the co-host of the No BS AI Summit, former president of NAWBO Fort Lauderdale, and her absolute best strategic breakthroughs still arrive mid-ocean swim, fueled by far too much coffee. EP955 - Aaron Hendon on how mindfulness and meditation are undervalued as the easiest path to performance, success, and happiness
In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to Aaron Hendon. Aaron talks to us about how mindfulness and meditation are undervalued as the easiest path to performance, success, and happiness. Aaron Hendon is a keynote speaker, bestselling author, and real estate veteran turned mindfulness provocateur who has made it his mission to help people stop outsourcing their sanity to the market, their inbox, or their own over-caffeinated anxiety. As the creator of The Mindful CEO and author of How to Live a Grateful Life in a Fckd Up World, Aaron blends 13 years of real estate experience with four decades of meditation and ontological leadership training to teach people how to sell more, lead better, and live saner—not through hacks or hustle porn, but through awareness, agency, and actual practice. After moving to Seattle and building a top-producing real estate business—where his team consistently sold homes for 3–5% more than average and 27% faster—Aaron discovered a truth most sales pros conveniently ignore: productivity doesn’t come from grinding harder; it comes from learning how not to fall apart. He spent years studying with mindfulness teachers, training hundreds of agents, and leading transformational courses before developing a practical, no-BS methodology that helps high-performing professionals operate with more clarity and less chaos. Today, Aaron teaches leaders and sales organizations how to trade burnout for presence, and how to build businesses that don’t require sacrificing their nervous systems. His clients describe him as equal parts Zen monk, Jewish dad, and high-performance coach—someone who can quote Alan Watts, call out your self-sabotage, and still get your deal closed by Friday. Through his programs—including From Hustle to Flow: Sell More by Stressing Less and the Mindful CEO Mastermind—Aaron provides real-world tools grounded in neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and contemplative practice. His work has helped agents 2–3x their production, dramatically reduce stress, and reconnect with the purpose that got them into business in the first place. When he’s not teaching, Aaron is writing, running mindfulness cohorts, leading gratitude trainings, and helping teams experience the kind of grounded presence that makes better decisions, better leaders, and—yes—better lives. His philosophy is simple: the world may be a mess, but your mind doesn’t have to be. Aaron lives on Vashon Island with his wife Kael, loves good bagels, and is committed to helping people experience genuine agency, one breath at a time. EP949 - John Patterson on the third intelligence
In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to John Patterson. John talks to us about the third intelligence. John Patterson has spent his career studying a question most professionals never think to ask: What is actually happening in the layer beneath this conversation? The answer is Transactional Intelligence™ — TQ. TQ is skillfully navigating exchanges with others: the structured methodology for navigating the hidden layer beneath every conversation — the human exchanges that produce every outcome. Before co-founding Influential U®, John spent more than two decades as a master trainer and regional director at a global personal development organization — designing curriculum for a $5B enterprise of 40,000 people, running a train-the-trainer program for sixteen years, and leading programs for tens of thousands of people across multiple countries. What he kept watching wasn't a skill problem or a mindset problem. It was a transactional one. Outcomes rose and fell not on the quality of people's thinking or intentions, but on something happening in their exchanges — something no one had named. That question led him to Kirkland Tibbels and to the work that became TQ. Since 2009, John has been the Co-Founder and CEO of Influential U® — the global education company that teaches Transactional Intelligence™ — and co-architect behind its full delivery infrastructure: the curriculum, learning management system, coaching architecture, and faculty certification program that brought TQ to practitioners in more than 20 countries. He is the practitioner voice of the methodology and co-author of HIGH TQ: Why It Matters More Than Expertise, Book 1 of the Transactional Intelligence™ series, written with Kirkland Tibbels (Published August 4, 2026). For decades, the field has measured intelligence in two registers — IQ and EQ. HIGH TQ names the third. Marshall Goldsmith, Thinkers50 #1 Executive Coach, calls it "a third intelligence — the ability to conduct human exchanges that produce ethical outcomes. Practical, teachable, and long overdue." Sanyin Siang, Thinkers50 Coaching Hall of Fame, locates the work precisely: "High TQ names that hidden layer between engagement and actualization — the transactional intelligence that determines whether your superpowers actually land." And Chester Elton, NYT bestselling author of The Carrot Principle, names what it feels like to encounter: "TQ gives you that language. Once you can see the structure underneath your exchanges, everything about how you lead changes. This book is the missing piece I didn't know I was looking for." EP948 - Dr. Tina R. Walker on Release What You Can No Longer Carry
In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to Dr. Tina R. Walker. Tina talks to us about Releasing What You Can No Longer Carry Dr. Tina R. Walker is first and foremost a follower of Christ. It is through His love and teachings that she has learned to love those who have not always shown her love or grace. Matthews 5:44 (KJV) says “But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.” It has not always been easy to hold up this commandment, but this scripture has helped her during her release journey. Tina’s life, like many, includes a variety of personal and professional highs and lows. At times, she found herself in situations that felt paralyzing and heartbreaking. Giving up outwardly was not an option; however, something was slowing down internally. She was holding on to those events and living a life that was not authentic or complete. As she learned to release, life internally and externally became more promising. Tina is an accomplished executive, having spent more than 30 years serving and supporting organizations in the Human Resources and Administration space. She has spoken on several platforms and has written publications as a subject matter expert in all areas of human resources, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and organizational excellence. She has conducted training courses and led conversations across the United States around the same topics. Tina served as an adjunct professor for more than a decade, helping students learn and grow through their commitments toward bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Tina is a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, auntie, and trusted friend. She holds a doctorate in Organizational Leadership and lives to inspire others through her open and transparent storytelling of her personal and professional triumphs and failures. EP947 - Manny Fiteni on Mind Congruency
In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to Manny Fiteni. Manny talks to us about Mind Congruency. Manny Fiteni is a dynamic leader, author, and technology entrepreneur working at the intersection of behavioural psychology and applied AI. He is the founder and CEO of My Growth Corporation, where he now builds AI products rather than only teaching frameworks - translating over three decades of real-world behavioural research directly into software people use every day. Manny's flagship product, Chaegim Chay-Gim (chaegim.com), is an AI accountability partner designed to close what he calls "the gap between coaching sessions" - the days between appointments where old habits quietly creep back in and momentum is lost. Chaegim stays with a person in that gap, holding them to who they said they wanted to become, so transformation doesn't reset every time a session ends. He also founded SkillZap AI (skillzapai.com), an AI flashcard maker and trivia platform that applies the same behavioural-science lens to how people learn, retain, and test knowledge. Notably, Manny built both ventures without a prior coding background, directing product and AI architecture through the same real-world observation that shaped his coaching work. Manny's approach is rooted in "Mind Congruency", the principle he explores in his book, which focuses on aligning the conscious mind with the subconscious mind to produce a "Focused Mind" - freeing individuals from being sabotaged by their own past programming. It is this same principle, encoded into product design, that gives Chaegim its edge as more than a habit tracker or chatbot. What makes Manny unique is that his study and practical application took place in the real world, not in controlled environments where subjects know they are being observed. His results - and now his products - come from a genuinely different vantage point than most in the coaching or AI space. Whether speaking at conferences, appearing on podcasts, or shipping new features, Manny's mission remains clear: to close the gap between who people are and who they are capable of becoming - through his books, his training, and now the AI he builds. EP944 - Tom Schwab on how we are all one conversation away, not one funnel away
In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to Tom Schwab. Tom talks to us about how we are all one conversation away, not one funnel away. Tom Schwab is the founder of Interview Valet and the category designer behind Podcast Interview Marketing, He's known as Godfather of Podcast Guesting. He earned the title by proving something most marketers miss: a podcast interview is not a megaphone. It's a magnet. A megaphone is loud and indiscriminate. It shouts at everyone and converts almost no one. A magnet is selective. Done right, an interview pulls your ideal client toward you and quietly repels the ones who were never a fit, which spares everyone a wasted sales call. Tom built Interview Valet on that single idea, and it now connects experts with exactly the audiences they are trying to reach. He once ran nuclear reactors on Navy aircraft carriers. Today he engineers something subtler: conversations that do the sorting for you. Here is what makes today different. When you sit down for an interview now, you are not only speaking to your ideal clients. You are speaking to the AI that will recommend you to them later. The interview is the magnet. The transcript is the record. Both are listening. Please welcome the author of Podcast Guest Profits, Tom Schwab. You can connect with Tom here: Website: LinkedIn: X: Instagram: YouTube:

EP935 - Rob René on Your Body Is Your Business Plan — And Why I Built an AI Chief of Staff to Protect It
In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to Rob René. Rob talks to us about how Your Body Is Your Business Plan — And Why I Built an AI Chief of Staff to Protect It. Rob René is the founder of Exodus Strong, the world's first faith-based wellness company integrating red light technology, biblical botanicals, and AI-powered business infrastructure. After surviving five near-death experiences — including stage 3 Malignant Melanoma that stopped his heart on an operating table at age 50 — Rob walked away from a 25-year Fortune 500 sales career to build the wellness products he couldn't find anywhere else. What started as a personal protocol became Exodus Strong: a business serving entrepreneurs, founders, and faith-driven families across the country. Rob is the creator of the Light Code System, a 4-pillar wellness framework (Light, Frequencies, Fuel, Faith) and the host of the BiohackingVille podcast. But Rob's most original contribution may be on the operations side. He built an AI Chief of Staff named Solomon — coordinating a team of 24 AI agents he calls the Twelve Tribes, each with biblical names, scripture references, and specific operational responsibilities. The framework has reduced Rob's working hours from 70 per week to under 25, while growing the business at a faster rate than ever. Rob has appeared on Entrepreneurs On Fire with John Lee Dumas, The Steve Gruber Show (5M+ weekly listeners), His Glory with Pastor Dave Scarlett, and dozens of other faith-based, wellness, and entrepreneurship platforms. He is the author of the upcoming book "Light Code: The 4-Pillar System for Total Body Healing." His mission is to help entrepreneurs reclaim both their bodies and their time — using AI as the mechanism, but with mission-driven business as the purpose. He calls the founders he works with "Change Agents for Good" — entrepreneurs whose businesses make the world meaningfully better when they grow. Rob lives in Texas with his partner Laura. He's healthier at 58 than he was at 44. You can connect with Rob here: Website: Offers: LinkedIn: Facebook: Instagram:

EP933 - Chad T. Jenkins on Why Competition Is Dead (And What Replaces It)
In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to Chad T. Jenkins. Chad talks to us about Why Competition Is Dead (And What Replaces It). Chad T. Jenkins serves as a leverage partner for entrepreneurs worldwide, helping them bring their big vision to reality by identifying and combining the assets they already possess — their Vision, Capability, and Reach. Where others see isolated businesses, Chad sees what he calls the “exploded parts view” — like the inside cover of an IKEA instruction manual — every entrepreneur broken down into powerful, usable components ready to be strategically combined. Having launched more than 50 businesses, Chad realized his greatest advantage wasn’t building alone — it was multiplying outcomes through collaboration. Through the CoLAB platform and his VCR framework, he helps founders move beyond friction and turn it into fuel, unlocking exponential growth by leveraging who they are, what they know, and who they can reach. His mission is simple: stop competing, start combining — and create more than you ever thought possible with what you already have. You can connect with Chad here: Website: SeedSpark: Linkedin:

EP932 - Rachel Smith on what Community Cards are and why they work so well for local businesses
In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to Rachel Smith. Rachel talks to us about what Community Cards are and why they work so well for local businesses. Rachel Smith is a Community Card business owner and entrepreneur who is passionate about helping local businesses grow while bringing communities together in meaningful ways. Alongside her husband, Rachel made the decision to step away from the traditional career path in search of greater freedom, purpose, and control over their future. That decision marked the beginning of a journey that would completely transform their lives. What started as a desire to build something of their own soon evolved into their Community Card venture. Rachel recognised the opportunity to create a model that not only supports local businesses, but also strengthens the connections within communities. Since then, she has been committed to showing others what is possible with a simple idea, strong relationships, and consistent action. For Rachel, the Community Card business is more than just a business model. It represents creativity, connection, and the ability to design a life on her own terms. Through the ups and downs of building a business, Rachel has learned that success is not about having everything figured out from the start. It is about taking action, staying consistent, and learning as you go. Her journey has been filled with growth, challenges, and rewarding wins, which she is passionate about sharing with others who are seeking a different path. Today, Rachel is proud to be building a business with her husband, serving local communities, and inspiring others to create something bigger for themselves and their families. EP931 - Wes Towers on Humanising AI with Search Everywhere Optimisation
In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to Wes Towers. Wes talks to us about Humanising AI with Search Everywhere Optimisation. Wes Towers is the founder of Uplift 360, a Geelong-based digital agency that helps businesses turn clarity and trust into measurable growth. A few years ago, during a challenging season, a valuer told Wes his business was not worth much because AI would replace what he did. Rather than walk away, he rebuilt by leaning into AI while doubling down on what cannot be automated: story, empathy, and genuine connection. That journey led to his framework, Search Everywhere Optimisation, a practical approach that combines human-centred messaging with AI amplification to build visibility and credibility online. Wes and his team primarily serve construction and trades, but his methods apply to any founder who wants to make a difference without falling into pushy marketing tactics. Wes shares candid lessons, many learned the hard way, practical ways to create “information gain” (content that is genuinely useful), and how values-driven brands can show up consistently without burning out. His style is approachable, transparent, and focused on quick wins that build lasting results. Today, Uplift 360 partners with purpose-driven leaders to refine their message, elevate their online presence, and build the kind of trust that converts without the hard sell.
