Stop Waiting to Feel Ready: Reinvention, Self-Doubt & Starting Again

Stop Waiting to Feel Ready: Reinvention, Self-Doubt & Starting Again
What happens when the life and identity you've known for decades suddenly begin to change? At 47, Carlene Marie found herself facing the end of a 25-year marriage, an empty nest, a return to the traditional workforce, and one enormous question: Who am I now? But Carlene was no stranger to starting again. After losing her father suddenly at 18, facing cancer at 34 while raising young children, and navigating other seasons of loss and uncertainty, she had already learned that reinvention rarely happens in one big, courageous leap. More often, it happens one small choice at a time. Maybe your age isn't evidence that it's too late. Maybe it's evidence that you're finally ready. In this episode of Age Slayers, Carlene and Traci talk about self-doubt, identity, nervous system regulation, and that uncomfortable "in-between" season when the woman you used to be no longer fits, but you aren't quite sure who you're becoming yet. Carlene also shares the four steps of her Compass Method® Connect, Calm, Curious, and Claim and why trying to force yourself to "think positive" isn't always the answer when fear and self-doubt take over. Today, Carlene is an author, keynote speaker, Master Mindpower Coach, happily remarried, and the author of the upcoming book Enough Already: Release Self-Doubt, Reclaim Your Worth, Remember Your Light. She Stopped Judging Herself... and Everything Changed
Have you ever felt like you're living your life for everyone else? In this inspiring episode of Age Slayers, Traci sits down with Amanda, a mom of three from northwest Iowa who spent years battling anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome, and the weight of other people's expectations. But everything began to change when Amanda stopped judging her emotions, stopped trying to be who everyone else expected her to be, and finally gave herself permission to simply be herself. One of the most powerful moments in this conversation is Amanda's reminder that we're not meant to be background characters in our own lives. It's time to become the main f*cking character in our own story. Together, Traci and Amanda explore: Why anxiety doesn't have to define your identity The danger of living for everyone else's expectations How therapy, deep personal work, and a "voice detox" helped Amanda rediscover herself What happens when you stop judging your emotions and start accepting them Why life truly begins when you decide that you're important too If you've spent years putting everyone else first, this episode is the reminder you've been waiting for. Because your next chapter doesn't start when life changes... It starts the moment you decide you matter. If this episode encouraged you, please subscribe, leave a review, and share it with another woman who needs the reminder that she's the hero of her own story.

After graduating from Duke University she practiced high-stakes corporate litigation at one of the largest law firms in the Southeast. She had money, success, and a beautiful home. She was living her dream life but there was one thing missing - Happiness. After long consideration, Kara left it all behind to search for her purpose. The journey was filled with depression, uncertainty and a sense of feeling lost. She never gave up in her search until one day - she found it in the most unexpected place. You will be inspired by Kara's story and the sacrifices she made to live a life of fulfillment. In epidsode 31 of the Age Slayers with Traci Lynn Podcast, Kara and I discuss what I learned about myself (and what you will learn about yourself) in her Optimization programs. https://www.linkedin.com/in/kara-nicole-bitar-aa635a21b/

Erin shares her journey from high end modeling to Life Coach
As a model in NYC in her early twenties Erin got caught up in the party/nightlife scene, and began abusing drugs and alcohol. Because of her Native American background and genetics it was easy for her to fall into this lifestyle. Later she married a man who mentally and emotionally abused her before and stripped her off all her confidence. Erin left the marriage and began focusing on living a life of sobriety. Since then she felt called to teach women how to reclaim their own inner matriarch, connect with their authentic self, and build a life from trusting themselves and their intuition, not the outside world. Erin's story is one of courage, perseverence and inspiration. If you'd be interested in learning more about Erin's coaching practice see the link below. www.Actannarbor.com
