Coming home three years ago, just like every other day, Deric wanted to go to his chair, away from his family. A conversation between his wife and their son that he overheard triggered Deric to grab his 3-year old son by the shirt and throw him to the ground. His wife was frozen in the corner at the site of Deric shoving food in their sons, frightened, crying mouth; everyone in the room was scared.
