It truly is incredible how the story was expanded from a short picture book into a cinematic masterpiece! Directed and co-writen by Spike Jonze, this film does so much for the world of story telling, cinematogrophy and costume design. Manchester by the Sea Most movies it is nice to have a box of popcorn but in this case, you'll need a box of tissues. A heart wrenching and dramatic story that has you the whole way through. Award winning acting from Casey Affleck and award winning writing/ directing from Kenneth Lonergan. Released on November 18, 2016 this film is a slow and cold journey. After 52 episodes spanning three season and one film, the series ended to make room for Justice League animated series. We loved this show as kids and really enjoy revisiting it in our adult years.
