The Foundation of Next Gen Ministry
In this episode, Jeff goes into detail on Deuteronomy 6 helping every parent, coach, pastor, and volunteer to understand the Biblical foundation for coming alongside the next generation. The Jewish community were given a mandate to live and teach by The Shema and Jesus would emphasize these principles again in Matthew 22. Let’s learn where we should start. Dr. Jeff Baxter (M.Div. D.Min) Bio: Jeff is the Next Gen Pastor at Mission Hills Church and has been in full-time ministry inside and outside the local church for nearly 30 years primarily helping children, middle school, high school, and young adults become like Jesus and join him on mission. He has also served as a Lead Pastor. He has advanced degrees in theology, youth and family ministry, and leadership. Jeff has written a number of books in Next Gen ministry, the health of the church, and studies on Israel. Dr. Ken Castor (PhD) Bio: After 30+ years of Next Gen and Family Ministry work inside and outside the church, Dr. Ken is balding in his hairline but still bold in his faith. Ken is the NextGen Pastor at Wooddale Church in Minnesota, a ministry professor, and a wonderful author. He is married to Kathy and they have three kids.
