Vaginal Health with Estrogen
Menopause is a natural biological process that marks the end of a woman's reproductive years. While it brings about various changes in the body, one of the less talked about aspects is the impact on vaginal health. As estrogen levels decline during menopause, the vaginal tissues become thinner, drier, and more susceptible to infection. Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are a common occurence in menopausal and post menopausal women, often causing discomfort and affecting quality of life. In recent years, estrogen creams applied to the vaginal area have emerged as a promising solution for reducing UTIs in this population. In this podcast we will explore the benefits of estrogen creams in managing UTIs and promoting vaginal health in menopausal and post menopausal women.
