He has overcome numerous challenges throughout his life, starting with being born with Poland Syndrome which is a condition where you don't have one pectoral muscle & two of the ribs surrounding your lungs. Hear how his father was told that Lewis would never play professional sport. Then having made it to the top level of the game, Lewis suffered a back injury that would ultimately force him to retire & re-evaluate his life. He has since founded Sport Yogi & is using his former experience to build a scalable Yogi app for athletes of all levels. Amit Lubling has been an entrepreneur since straight out of college, he has never really worked for anyone else. His early career was spent building out the initial stage broadband infrastructure for the UN's development team in emerging markets around the world. He then became a partner at Incubator Pre-Hype which took problems from some of the worlds best companies & spun them into businesses before setting up his own VC studio with a niche of focusing on businesses in Africa. Amit took Philosophy in College and it's had a major impact on his life, so much so that he's got some writings due out soon. Today I speak to Nathan Kosky who is the Vice President of Global Partnerships at AEG - no not the appliance firm but the global firm Anschutz Entertainment Group that owns the likes of the O2, Staples Centre, the LA Galaxy and Coachella amongst other famous venues and iconic festivals. Nathan started in media sales before being recruited by AEG to help then develop the O2 Arena. He had a stint away to be the commercial director at Coventry City Football Club before returning to AEG to find a company that had substantially grown during his time away. Nathan discusses how deals get done at such a huge level and offers insight into the scale of the thinking behind these partnerships. Finally, Nathan has recently launched a cricket podcast called Middle Please Umpire with Mark Wood & Miles Jupp and although it's only a few episodes in, it's had some really promising early numbers and I think he has a hit on his hands. He's also represented his country and got man of the match on his Ireland Debut.
