16th Sunday OT (cycle A) A good litmus test for everyone of us to see where we are in our faith walk is: do my friends/neighbors/co-workers know that I am a Catholic-Christian! Weeds among the wheat. If we are the wheat we must be aware of the weeds among us. The great temptation for Christians is to blend in with the crowd--to become a weed. We must fight against that and pray for greater friends in the Lord.
