Detroit Youth Rising was created by the Detroit Phoenix Center, a non-profit organization that provides critical resources, wrap around support, and a safe, nurturing environment to youth who are transitioning out of homelessness and poverty. Meet the incredible young leaders of the Detroit Phoenix Center - Young Changemaker Fellowship, an extension of the DPC youth leadership program. Over 10 months, they develop leadership and advocacy skills through focused training, service learning, immersive experiences, and mentorship.
