Navigating the Complexities of a Spiritual Awakening Please welcome my guest Christina who bravely shares her spiritual awakening with us! Her spiritual awakening started with the loss of her paternal grandmother and father. She found herself open to a reading, but unsure what to expect coming to her first group reading in Spring of 2019 and admits she still had a little doubt in her head. She left with her mind blown and was a complete believer in the afterlife and it allowed her to even recall her own experiences as a child after reflection. It’s been quite a journey to get to today where she gives us a beautiful testimony to how living in a different vibration has simplified her life and allowed her thought patterns and experiences to be a complete 180. She lives in joy and peace. She is also learning to navigate a spirit led life and she aspires to continue the journey to living her best life! In this episode you will hear: What it means to be spiritual and what it looks like versus what she thought it meant and looked like. The complexities of coping with trauma and how it’s affected her adult life and how she’s felt viewed by others in her personal and work life. How important it is to take responsibility for your trauma. Following the bread crumb trail with a job she felt stuck in and was laid off twice before getting a new job that she was in love with! Her journey to peace while finding herself in a family situation where she felt there was absolutely no way out. Starting with boundaries with how she wanted to be treated by her closest family members. Slowly over time her Oma passed away. Her mom moved out into her own house. Soon she delivered her second baby and then needed to find a safe way out of her home with her two children as her partner was not responding well to the healthy boundaries she needed. · How therapy and treatment helped her move through the motions of finding safety and creating a safe place for herself and children. · How when you start to heal and make changes that are best for your mental, emotional, and spiritual health that some relationships and friends will end and that’s okay because it will make room for new people that are in a different place and can meet you where you are at. · Christina talks candidly about her dating life and all the ups and downs of 2022 in trying to find herself in her new life as a single mom on a healing quest doing all the self-help things. Her first relationship after her marriage and what she learned from it. · How 2023 has been the year of creating more space for herself and setting goals for personal growth, spiritual growth and being more in tune with her physical health. Navigating the Complex Losses & Grief This episode takes an in-depth look at how to navigate complex loss and grief. It’s important to recognize that each individual will grieve differently after a loss. A loss could be anything. It’s not necessarily losing a loved one from the physical world to the spiritual world. With every loss there is a opportunity for personal growth. However, not everybody sees a loss as a positive catalyst in their life and we must honor that if it’s someone else’s story. It’s critical that you remember your experience through your own perception and don’t let anybody else dictate what that experience was for you. Over the last year I’ve have experienced such a deep gratitude for making the leap to self-employment when I did in March 2019! I’ve experienced personal healing on such a profound level through this mediumship journey with you all and through the opportunities in which I’ve been able to show up for my daughter and extended family. 87. Mediumship Series: Create More Harmony and Strengthen Your Intuition Creating more harmony in your life and strengthening your intuition go hand-in-hand. When you're working on strengthening your intuition, you have to clear up your energetic space. Whether at your home or in a work environment, it’s very important to be able to maintain that quiet space and do things that make you feel better to keep you in that high vibe space as much as you possibly can. You know how things could ebb and flow. Everybody's work situation is obviously different, as much as their home situation is as well. But you have to do what you can to make sure every moment feels good to you because this will help you along your journey. Whichever way you’re able to get that done, know that you’re the only person who’s going to look out for your own best interest when it comes to maintaining your space – a space that is safe, supportive, and uplifting. That being said, I want to remind you that you are not alone. We are all fully supported by Spirit and our guides. And so, it’s just a matter of tapping into that connection. Today, I’m going to share with you 9 ways to create more harmony and strengthen your intuition. Hopefully, these will help strengthen your connection with your highest self so you can work on these different healing modalities as well as clear the lens for you to achieve more clarity. Mediumship Series: The Contemporary Medium Today, I wanted to talk to you about what it means to be a contemporary medium, and I will also share the answers to the questions that you all submitted on social media and through email. After a very wild 2020 and 2021 with mentorship growth, it has become such a critical piece of what my work is. And so, I always like to reflect on what I'm learning as I'm teaching, and what's the next best step with my offerings. What I truly wanted to do this year is to just take this to a completely deeper level with a contemporary mediumship course, where we will incorporate more soulful mediumship practices and more soul readings for this massive shift going on in our world today. When you're showing up for mediumship, the personal growth is just phenomenal. It is sometimes messy, sometimes hard, but it's also magical. The mediumship journey goes hand in hand with your own personal healing journey. And together, they are profound. You will become more aligned with your highest self and your highest purpose through this practice. You will become aware of areas in your life that need healing and you will be called to heal these areas. I'm going in the direction of being here with the understanding that we're all here to grow. At times, that includes the mediumship as well as other things that your soul needs to know from your loved ones in Spirit, in order for you to integrate the healing and move forward. Sometimes, you may also need to recognize certain things that you have held onto such as misaligned beliefs or traumas in your body that you would benefit from releasing There are things that need to fall away in your life so that other things can fall perfectly together. And this process can be messy. But once you make the shift to truly put yourself and your healing first in your life, everything changes. If you are the type of person that has already worked on your personal development and has curiosity in the metaphysical world, and if you're feeling the gentle tug at your heart for something more, then come join us. But we all know these limitations affect all of us in everyday life as well. Fear and doubt never fully go away but there are ways to learn to push through them. We all handle certain situations differently, but by just showing up, pushing through, and doing your best, fear becomes not so powerful. You are going to have challenges, but those challenges don’t define your abilities or your self worth. Doubt and fear present themselves with family, relationships and in work life. Remember why you want to do the thing you are fearful of, connect to that intention and let it guide you. Step out on that stage and do what you came to do, regardless of the judgement from others. I know in previous episodes, I've talked a lot about surrender, and what that really looks like. However, I don't know if I've really focused on aspects of how to use the power of intention, and that is a HUGE part of my life and work with spirit. 75. The Journey to Mediumship with Medium Michael Christopher The Journey to Mediumship is not one that is linear for myself or my friend Michael. According to Michael, if you were to tell him he was a medium even just 8 years ago, there would be no way that he would even consider it possible. The more professional mediums I Interview for this podcast the more I hear that talking to discarnate souls was not something that they even considered to pursue as a profession. And as with Michael, there are some now professional mediums that did not believe they were mediums until they started to be more open to it. It’s also apparent that for those of us living as professional mediums that we may not have realized we could connect to the spirit world. It seems we are often led to mediumship through profound tragic situations. Is it the tragedy that provides the connection or have we been connected all along and didn’t consider it until that was all we had left to consider? In the beginning of your mediumship journey, without validation from the living it’s hard to really know for sure or not you are receiving information from the spirit realm or if you have a wild imagination. Even if you feel it in every fiber of your being as truth you just don’t know until you present the information for validation. It’s as simple as that. 70. Favorite Meditation Series: Meet Your Guardian Angel Meditation Today, I'm going to do a short meditation with you so that you can meet your guardian angel. If you are new to meditation, I hope that you will enjoy it, or at least give it a try. There are so many benefits to having a meditation practice. I remember even at the very beginning of my journey, how sitting still was not my thing. I thought it was enough that I was being very present, and I was getting downloads. But this year, I realized how important meditation practice was for me, especially during my long battle with pneumonia. Meditation and breathwork gave me a baseline and I felt a connection that determined even my mood for the day and allowed me to connect to that vibration I wanted to stay in. It changed the game for me. If you can try to discipline yourself to start a meditation practice, you can work up to 10 minutes. You don't have to do it every single day. But if you do try, give yourself at least 30 days to see where you're at and how it begins to impact your life the way it did mine. 68: How I Learned to Love Myself It’s been a minute since I’ve just had an episode where I shared some personal stuff and some really helpful tools that I use in my own in life for forging ahead, healing, and doing better in my personal life and my professional life. I never thought that I would be sharing what I’m sharing today but these podcasts are intuitively guided and I do spend some time in silence asking what I need to share next or who I need to bring on the podcast. A lot of what I’m discussing here are things that come up in great numbers in my readings. I meet so many people that have really worked courageously on their own personal healing and they’re often trying to understand in our sessions why they can't seem to push past some of the fears and misaligned beliefs and efforts to find the peace and love that they're truly seeking. So, I’ve decided to share my story and what I've found through my own personal healing and hope that it helps at least one person listening. As you know, my way is not everybody's personal way. You know what’s best for you and others know what way is best for themselves. I encourage you to always come from a place of authenticity and follow the journey that's best for you. So, keeping your inner peace at the core of every decision that you make and how you engage with others, and where your energy flows through, are some of the steps that I share in this episode. I feel like all of this will surely lead you in a great direction if you are struggling with loving yourself. And, with that I want to share the journey of how I got on the path of learning to love myself too.
