Having to find ways to save money can frankly be annoying. Most times because we come from a frame of mind of cutting. Having to go without, loosing, restriction and sacrifice are all words I hear from clients when this subject comes up. Instead of cutting let's talk about reducing expenses. This small word change can help a lot when it comes to this touchy subject for most business owners. I talk about some ways you can think about reducing your expenses and challenge you to pick just two to work on in your situation. Remember cutting or reducing expenses isn't about giving up things its about thinking how to get more things like cash in your bank and isn't that what we all want at the end of the day. We all hear that we have to have an elevator pitch, but how many floors do you have, what needs to be in it, how much is too much, the list can go on and on. Your elevator pitch needs to be a living document and you are going to need more than one depending on who it is that you are "pitching to". It also needs to evolve as you and your business do. This will happen because the more you say it the more you will get it refined. That is important! The more you say it the more you will get it refined! I write it twice because the key is that you understand that you will not get it near perfect unless you try it out. More then once and more then just to a friend.
