However, the MAIN reason is that the LORD wants to give you a message for healing, direction, protection, or enablement. And, sometimes―if not many times―the message will be for someone else. Some people may NOT be able to listen to―or discern―the voice of the Spirit. Or, they may NOT want to listen to the voice of the Spirit due to rebellion or living in sin. Therefore, the LORD may send you a message via His Spirit to relay to the other person. In my experience the message is usually given for specific knowledge in an area where help or advice is needed: in my life or in the lives of others. The principles of God are timeless and transfer … and if we are students of God’s Word and have the knowledge of Proverbs we are able to navigate the problems and challenges of life. But when situations arise that are not clearly and specifically defined―as in ministry strategy or spiritual warfare or dream interpretation―then we need a “specific” word from the LORD. Many people read the Holy Bible, but they are NOT listening to the Holy Spirit. God wants us to apply His Word to our lives. This is where listening to the Spirit brings success, victory and accurate direction. ________________________________________ LISTENING TO THE HOLY SPIRITDIRECTION AND HEALING PROPHECY INTRODUCTION “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.” – Jesus: John 16:13 One of the Holy Spirit's assignments is to glorify Christ. When you receive direction, help and enablement, Christ is glorified in your victorious life and testimony thereof: by your word and your lifestyle. The Holy Spirit guides you into ALL truth; spiritual, business, family, prophetic, physical, travel and relational truth. Many people read the Holy Bible, but they are NOT listening to the Holy Spirit. God wants us to apply His Word to our lives. This is where listening to the Spirit brings success, victory and accurate direction. As you become attuned―skilled―in listening to the Spirit, you will begin to notice that sometimes shortly after you receive a message you will experience a confirmation. For example, [I recently had this happen] if you receive a message about advice you would give a person, that person may contact you not long after and ask you for advice concerning the same (not knowing that you have already heard from God concerning them or their situation). EXAMPLES Sometimes listening to the Holy Spirit will be synonymous with the gift of prophecy. For example, one time after a large seminar I was conducting at in Chicago a lady came up to me and said, “I have two wombs …” I had already finished praying with people and I was really wanting to go to the place where I was to stay and go to bed. When the lady said, “I have two wombs …” my first thought was, “I must have preached past the anointing.” (I wanted to be anywhere but there.) What the lady said in full was this, “I have two wombs. If I conceive in the one womb the life will live, but if I conceive in the other (womb) the life will die. Do you have a word for me?” Instantly―without thinking about it―I said to her, “You will have a son. He will live, and his name will be Samuel.” When I was in Chicago about a year later I met little Samuel. In similar manner, listening to the Spirit may sometimes by synonymous with the Word of Knowledge. For sure―if you operate in the gifts of the Spirit like Prophecy and the Word of Knowledge―you definitely need to be listening to the Holy Spirit. Study my book, . But there are times that God wants to give you a message for yourself and it may be just for reflection, or to meditate thereon. He may want you to think about what you would do in a certain situation that may be coming up in the future and you do NOT know about it yet―or, the complete details have not dovetailed together yet―and may not for quite some time. PURPOSE OF LISTENING You have to realize that God is for you. As in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the motive for listening to the Spirit should be to edify, improve, deliver, make whole or provide intelligence. Thank God, He did not leave us here without the tools and weapons we need to operate in power and victory … and especially as we progress into the End Times. Realize this: we are at the entrance to the End Times. If the Early Church―or Messianic Synagogue―needed the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the five fold ministries of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher as laid out in Ephesians 4:11, how much more do we need them today? And, how much more will the followers of Messiah Jesus need them as we progress further along into the End Times. PREREQUISITES TO LISTENING We need to start our day with the Word of God. We need to be students of the Word of God. “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” (Romans 10:17) So the Word of God is the channel through which the activities of the Holy Spirit operate. When we have the Word of God in us―and operate based upon the Word of God―we hear (from God … from His Spirit). And when we hear from God, faith rises and MIRACLES happen. But remember also, this is all predicated upon love. “Faith works by love.” (Galatians 5:6) The Word of God is the channel though which faith flows, and love is the activator which triggers faith. HOW WILL YOU KNOW If you are living for God, then give God the benefit of the doubt. I have seen many MIRACLES since I learned to give God the benefit of the doubt. If you're NOT sure the message is from God, then check to make sure it does NOT conflict with Scripture. If it does NOT conflict with Scripture, then ask God for a confirmation that is clear and concise. NOTE: If you are “seasoned” in listening to the Holy Spirit then you probably won't require a confirmation. We should NOT be surprised that the LORD works this way in addition to His many other modes of communication. We read of Him doing this throughout Bible in both the Tanakh (Old Testament) and the Brit Chadashah (New Testament). God has NOT changed. “For I am the LORD; I do not change.” (Malachi 3:6) It's people who have not changed that corrupt His program. People who have never seen healing will tell you that God does not heal. People who have never seen miracles will tell you that MIRACLES do not happen anymore. People who do NOT believe in Apostles or Prophets operating today will tell you that those offices ceased after the Early Messianic Synagogue. However, to say that would be to prove ignorance―or, folly―as that would mean that the Scripture in Ephesian 4:11 has been rescinded: “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers.” No more pastors, teachers and evangelists either! GOD WANTS TO COMMUNICATE Also, realize that the LORD wants to communicate with people more than we do. And, He does NOT want his messages of direction and help to be cryptic or hard to understand. It amazes me how many people have never read the Holy Bible completely. Here's the greatest communication to mankind and they treat it like a magazine. My friend, get the Word inside you and YOU will begin to hear God. Start your day with it and end your day with it. I made a rule for my life years ago: “No Bible … no breakfast.” The day is coming when the world government and the world religious system will destroy Bibles … including YOURS if you're still here. Then YOU will need to listen to the Spirit … and it may be too late. The Holy Spirit will guide you into ALL truth as you listen to Him. Also, there are severities ranging from moderate to extreme … and some, life threatening. Many people suffer for years with a condition that could have been taken care of in a short time … and some, instantly. God is the Healer and the Creator – and by virtue of this fact – He knows exactly what you need. There is nothing wrong with going to physicians or seeking medical help or advice. But what we should do is seek the LORD first to see what He wants us to do. He may want to heal us by His sovereign power, over a period of time, or instantaneously. ________________________________________ HEALING FROM BACKPAIN There are many types, as well as causes of, back pain. There is neck pain, upper back pain, mid and lower back pain, and then the sacrum related coditions at the base of the spine. You have probably heard someone complain of sciatica which is caused by irritation ot the nerve roots that lead to the sciatic nerve coming out of the spinal cord in the lower back. A bulging or ruptured disc is usually the primary culprit is such a condition. However, there can be other conditions involved. Arthritis can cause bone spurs which can cause or exacerbate sciatica. Also, an injury can cause compression of the nerve roots. There are several other causes for sciatica, and the source of the irritation will usually dictate the treatment prescribed: physical therapy, medicine and sometimes surgery. Be very careful of exercise regimen with any type of back condtion, especially spinal related, as you could be aggravating the situation. Always check with your medical professional concerning any type of workouts, exercise and even stretching. CAUTION: There is a condition known as Cauda Equina Syndrome which you might think is sciatica; however, it is very dangerous and without a MIRACLE from God may require urgent surgical treatment. It's symptoms can be similar to sciatica, and causes can be: A severe ruptured disk in the lumbar area (the most common cause). Narrowing of the spinal canal (stenosis). A spinal lesion or tumor. A spinal infection, inflammation, hemorrhage, or fracture. A complication from a severe lumbar spine injury such as a car crash, fall, gunshot, or stabbing. A birth defect such as an abnormal connection between blood vessels. There are types of bone pain attributed to bone fusion or where the vertebrae grow over. One such conditon is known as Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS). It affects the spine with pain and stiffness from the neck down to the lower back and does not necessarily confine itself to older people; it happens most often to teenagers and men in their twenties, and is characterized by stiffness from the neck down to the lower back, and can result in a rigid spine. Back pain can be caused from injury, work, poor posture (sitting or standing), sports and recreation. But … the Good News is that YOU can be healed of back pain! You may be thinking … or saying … “I've had this condition for years!” Well, let me tell you, my friend, that Jesus, the Healer, has been healing for years! There are some practical things you can do to help your situation: 1. Exercise (check with a medical professional before starting an exercise or stretching regimen); 2. Take proper nutrition and supplements; 3. Get the required amount of sunshine (for Vitamin D); 4. Rest your body and your mind. 5. Take advantage of physical helps like the “Teeter HangUps” inversion table. This helps reverse the effects of gravity and disc compression. (Check with your medical professional before using.) The scope of this teaching is NOT to discuss specific types of therapy or treatments, but rather to present an alternative solution to problems that you or a loved one may be experiencing with back related issues.You can be healed today...NOW...by calling on the name of the LORD: Who forgives all your sins, and Who heals all your diseases [Psalm 103:3] The LORD's healing nature never changes. It is God's will to heal you! Remember the lady in the Bible who was bent over for 18 years? “And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together (bent over), and could not in anyway lift herself up. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity. And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.” (Matthew 13:11-13) _____________ MY TESTIMONIES I am completely back pain FREE at this time in my life … and I have been on Planet Earth for quite a while! My advice to you – especially if you know the Great Physician, Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus, the Messiah) – is: NEVER GIVE UP! I went for 13 years with terrible back pain. I don't know what caused it. I was a varsity wrestler in school, but I don't remember any happenings that would have caused (the devil's) pain. (I say “the devil's pain” because it was NOT my pain; it was pain the devil wanted me to have!) Also, I had been in NO serious accidents, not even small ones. By God's grace I have never had a broken bone in my lifetime. I have claimed the scripture for years (a prophetic one about Messiah Jesus' death on the cross) that says, “He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.” (Psalm 34:20) Here is how I was healed. My pain was so bad and so aggravating. I had been to a chiropractor years before and had learned or remembered how he had “fixed” my back to alleviate pain. So, I would lie on the floor and try to “fix” my back the way the chiropractor did. I was miserable, and it got worse and worse! I was addicted to”cracking” my back. I probably was compounding the situation. It was such a miserable condition … and, to make matters worse, at that time in my life I did NOT know about the healing power of Christ! Finally, I began to wonder if the situation was NOT a physical problem, but possibly a “spirit” problem; in other words, a “spirit of affliction” sent by the devil to plague me while I was trying to do God's work! To give you an idea of how bad the situation was, if I were in a business environment where I had never been before, I would look to see if the receptionist stepped out of the office so I could lie on the floor and “crack” my back. I was miserable! One day as I was on the floor ready to “crack” my back, the Holy Spirit spoke to me. He said, “Why don't you let me take care of that for you?!” Wow! I knew exactly what He meant. Instead of ME trying to fix the problem and compounding it each time I “cracked” my back, the Holy Spirit wanted to FIX it. It was such a temptation because when – and immediately after – I would “crack” my back, I would feel so much better … until it started hurting again! I really had to resist “cracking” my back … but realized at the same time, I didn't want to go through that all of my life. So … I said, “OK, Holy Spirit, I give this problem – this back condition – to You!” That was it, it was over. PRAISE GOD! That was many years ago. Another time, I experienced extreme pain in my upper back below my shoulder. It was not a spinal problem, but it would hurt so badly that I would cry. I asked God different times to either heal me or take me home to Heaven! I went to medical doctors, I went to specialists, I went to physical therapy … nothing worked. I even told two of the doctors I had that I asked the LORD, “Either heal me or take me to Heaven,” so they would know how bad the situation was. Nothing worked! Finally, one night while traveling in another area of the country, before I went to bed, I prayed to God and said, “Father, you can just send an Angel to touch me and I will be healed.” That night, while I was sleeping, I was awakened with a loud “POP” in my back where the problem had been. It was so loud it awakened me. And I was perfectly healed. I have never had that problem since, and never will, thank God … and thank the Holy Angel that God sent to touch me. Yes, “Touched by an Angel” has a special meaning to me! _____________ PRAISE is also an important remedy for back pain. 1. It lifts up and straightens the spinal column and relaxes it from a “stooped” condition. Learn to practice praise to God several times a day for at least 30 seconds. 2. God lives in the praise of His people. “But You are holy, O You that inhabits the praises of Israel.” (Psalm 22:3)3. The anointing breaks the yoke. Since God lives in the praise of His people, there is an anointing present with true praise, which can break an “assigned” attack on the body, mind or spirit. “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” (Isaiah 10:27)4. Praise brings victory. King Jehoshaphat and the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem won a large battle utilising praise. (Read 2 Chronicles Chapter 20, verses 1-30 in the Tanakh.) _____________ CHECK THIS OUT: An Egyptian friend of mine, Magdy Girgis, was a member of our Board of Directors. He worked for Hughes Aircraft as did several Christians who had been Baptized in the Holy Spirit, all of which spoke in tongues. They had Bible studies together every morning before work and also at luch time. One day a man named Warren Meisenbach, who worked in the Engineering Department, came to their Bible study at lunch. Warren was NOT a believer and he asked them, “What's this born again stuff you keep talking about?” Warren had been a “hunch back” for 15 years (like the lady in the Bible I discussed earlier who had been bent over 18 years). Warren received Christ as his Lord that day, and asked the men to lay hands on him for healing. Instantly … they could hear his back "cracking' like: POP, POP, POP. He was perfectly straightend in a normal position. (See Note #3 at bottom to listen to a podcast of this MIRACLE.) When he went home his wife was dumbfounded because he was not only “straightened” but smiling for the first time in years! Jesus is the Healer … the Great Physician. Will you let Him heal YOU? Invite God’s Son, Yeshua, to come into your life by praying the following prayer: "Messiah Jesus, I know that you are The Great Physician. You loved me enough to shed your sinless blood and die for me on the cross stake that I might be healed. I know you are alive. Please forgive my sins, come into my life, and be my Master. I have witnessed many people walking out of their wheel chairs. I was holding a three day seminar and I had asked the people present to join me in prayer and fasting for the last day as I was going to teach on healing. A man was present who had been in a wheel chair for nine years due to two conditions: 1. A large 18 wheel semi-tractor truck had run into his automobile and he had five breaks in his spine; 2. He had muscular dystrophy. During Holy Communion he walked out of his wheel chair and never went back! Two years later, he gave his testimony in a large Presbyterian church and hundreds of people fell out of their seats under the Power of the Holy Spirit. For somepeople there is NO permanent relief. However, what many people―even some in the medical profession―don't realize is that there are sometimes multiple factors involved. The purpose of this teaching is to present some IDEAS that may help in reducing pain significantly OR altogether. Our GOAL is YOUR complete DELIVERANCE, HEALING and FUTURE HEALTH. ________________________________________ HEALING FROM SHOULDER, ARM & HAND PAINOPTIONS FOR RELIEF The normal treatment sequence for shoulder pain is: as follows: 1. Physical Therapy; 2. Cortisone injections; and, 3. Surgery (after MRI analysis) if #1 and #2 above do NOT help. Notice that #1 and #2 above may sometimes be scheduled by a medical practitioner in reverse order OR simultaneously. THE SEVERITY OF CHRONIC PAIN If left unattended―or IF treatment is suspended due to NO relief―chronic pain can escalate, causing depression and anxiety, sleep deprivation, social isolation, and even economic and financial burden. ____________________________________________ Data from the National Center for Health Statistics finds that more than 1 in 10 adults 65 and older say they have pain that limits their life most days, or all the time! ____________________________________________ Pain management in the last 10 years has been disheartening. Efforts at treating chronic pain with medication resuted in opioid abuse; overdoses are now among the leading causes of death for adults age 50 to 70. In this teaching I want to share with you some non-drug options that may help you. PAIN CAN BE MORE THAN PHYSICAL Your body and your emotions both feel pain: especially chronic pain. You can experience emotional, social and psychological damage in addition to physical damage. FIND OUT WHAT IS DRIVING YOUR PAIN Sometimes it is easy to identify. For example house painters who have reached overhead for years may end up with severe shoulder pain. Or certain athletes who do repeated arm movements may exacerbate the situation. In addition to the “area of pain” there MAY be some other “culprits” contributing to the problem. Ask yourself these questions: When did my pain start? Do I feel other part(s) of my body that seem to be connected to the KEY area at times? What causes my pain to increase: sitting, standing, computer use, reclining (i.e., at night), lifting, eating, driving (steering wheel operation)? What makes my pain feel better? (Does it help for long?) Does my pain ever go away? You may find a “co-conspirator” or the actual cause … like I did! YOU CAN TRY THESE STEPS STEP ONE Schedule an appointment with an Orhopedic Surgeon and explain your problem. They may suggest Physical Therapy and/or Cortisone shots. NOTE: Cortisone injections should NOT be taken over three (3) times a year in a single joint [and no more than six (6) times a year in total if in different joints] preferably four (4) months apart IF needed, Any more can cause deterioration of the soft muscle tissue and is NOT advised. Getting too many cortisone shots can cause serious problems like damaged cartilage and bone death. It can also make it harder to manage other conditions such as diabetes. HOW CORTISONE INJECTIONS WORK The goal of a cortisone injection is to improve pain and inflammation. Cortisone does not treat the underlying condition; it only treats the symptoms. Cortisone injections are used to treat many joint problems, including: Bursitis Tendonitis (including shoulder and arm) Trigger finger (can aggravate OR cause shulder pain) Carpal tunnel syndrome Tennis elbow Knee arthritis Many types of overuse injuries NOTICE: You may find that the cortsone shot helps successfully after the first few days BUT in some cases it may start to “wear off” after a couple months; hopefully, it will last longer. Cortisone is a type of steroid hormone that works by decreasing inflammation. Inflammation is the body's normal response to an injury, infection, or disease as a means to heal itself. However, when a condition is persistent and the inflammation is chronic, the symptoms of inflammation—including pain and swelling—can become intolerable. Ultrasound can also be used to guide injections. Ulrasound isn't just a diagnostic tool. When some type of injection treatment is needed, such a corticosteroid shot into a joint, unltrasound can be used to visualize the structure to ensure that the needle is placed in the correct location. Image-guided joint injections also are done with X-Rays or CT Scans. But with ultrasound, there's NO radiation and NO need to inject a contrast dye. STEP TWO Your Physician OR Medical Assistant MAY recommend Physical Therapy. Physical Therapy usually is done two or three times a week. Most insurance plans cover it BUT check with you insurance before starting. You will probably find out IF it is relieving your pain or not after several treatments (if it is beneficial in reducing your pain). The same with the cortisone shots. You should findout immediately (within the first few days IF the shot is reducing your pain. STEP THREE See if other parts of your arm or hand at times feel pain that seems to connect up your arm to the shoulder. I found that my use of the computer mouse was causing some pain in my right hand near the wrist but between my thumb and right index finger. I went to an Orthopedic Surgeon and had an Ultra Sound of my right hand. Musculoskeletal ultrasound can help to diagnose a range of injuries and chronic conditions, including tendonitis, bursitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff tears, joint problems, and masses such as tumors or cysts. The ultrasound showed that the cushion between my right thumb and index finger had competely eroded. Years of texting plus hours a day operating keyboard and mouse on computers eroded the cushion between my right thumb and index finger. [I have several social media sites plus large websites and large ] I got a shot of cortisone near my right thumb plus purchased a MetaGrip (photo below) obtained by Pongratz Orthotics & Prosthetics which the doctor instructed me to use. Immediately I noticed a difference. Then I started to remember―and recall―that in the past operating the mouse would send pain up my arm and to my shouder. I go to the gym two or three times a week plus lift at home and use strength bands plus cardio. I have NOT had a pain in weeks, even after working out at the gym with heavy weights. Only once did I sense some slight discomfort in one side of my neck due to heavy curling exercises with probably too heavy of weights but it went away. On my last visit to the Specialist (Orthopedic Surgeon who was giving me advice for the terrible pain in my shoulder) I asked him, “Is there anything I can take to relieve OR heal inflammation in my shoulder?” He said, “Yes, Tumeric.” I started taking Tumeric Curcumin right away. Immediately I noticed a profound affect: NO PAIN. MY TESTIMONY Check with your medical advisor and try Tumeric Curcumin Herbal Supplement and see IF it provides healthy imflammatory response. I have used it successfully. I experienced such terrible shoulder pain. It would keep me awake at night, at times causing me to cry. Even in the daytime, sometmes liftng a light weight small plastic cup of water would cause me such severe pain that I would cry out. Or when driving, just lifting my arm to turn the steering wheel slightly would cause me to cry out. After trying physical therapy and cortisone treaments I got serious about seeking God for the cause of my chronic pain. The physical therapy did NOT seem to help AND the cortisone shots were only helpting reduce pain for two months at the most. What was the problem? WHEN and HOW did it start? Then I got serious about seeking GOD for healing. Of course I had prayed before the shots and the physical therapy BUT figured I would jusr pray and go to a specialist. But when the pain continued to be chronic and affect my emotions AND my life style I then decided to get serious about asking God for help. Especially when I realized that this was NOT a little thing that was going away with normal treatments. I did NOT want to have it the rest of my life! You will not need to fight in this battle, for “the battle is the LORD’s.” You will ultimately be cleared of these attacks and those who have participated will come to you for forgiveness, or receive more severe judgment. You will know if this is YOU as God will already have given you waymarks along the way that—if you haven’t recognized them already—you will now be able to look back and SEE (with spiritual eyesight) how they have been placed in your life. For example, when I was 11 years of age I gave a DOUBLE prophecy at the same time to my older sister and a neighbor who was in our dining room. I remember the exact spot. I told them that men would one day travel to the moon (this was many years before such exploration had even been pondered) and, also, that I would one day be a minister. (The latter, because they knew me, probably seemed more preposterous than the former!) Both came to pass. I loved Jesus at that age and won a Bible for inviting 17 kids to my Sunday School class, but after my father died four years later I wandered into sin. Praise God, I gave my life to Christ after graduating from college. Starting in the early 1970's I prophesied several times that God was going to elevate Holy Spirit baptized African Americans into positions of political leadership. This came to pass after several years. At times, the Lord would give me specific prophecies (not words of knowledge) for specific individuals. For example, one man who had been involved politically and who was an attorney, had dedicated his life to ministry. Yet, he had not experienced an answer to what he had received as a vision for God’s will for him. After a few years, I was speaking in a city where he had moved, and met him again. We had lunch together and I prophesied to him: “You will receive an offer for employment in ministry within 24 hours.” It came to pass, and he was exceedingly happy. (No, I had nothing to do with it, nor any knowledge of it.) I have held several seminars at on Lake Michigan in Chicago. During one seminar I was extremely tired after teaching and it was getting late. I just wanted to go back to where I was staying and sleep. As I was leaving, a lady came up to me and said, “I have TWO WOMBS; if I conceive in the one the life will live. If I conceive in the other the life wil die. Do you have a word for me?” (By “word” she meant a prophecy.) My first thought was, “I must have taught past the Anointing!!!” However, immediately out of my mouth came these words: “You will have a son. He will live. His name will be Samuel.” About 18 months later I was holding another seminar at McCormick Place, After I finished teaching, a lady came up to me and said, “Do you remember me?” I said to her, “I apologize, I do NOT remember you.” She then explained to me that she had spoken to me earlier about a year and a half before. She then invited me to come to her home and meet her husband who was a Chicago policeman and told me that her husband really wanted to meet me. I would normally never have done this as I like to return to where I am staying and rest. But for some reason I felt impressed of the LORD to accept her invitation. When I arrived at the lady's home she introduced me immediately to her husband, the Chicago policeman. And then, she brought out a little baby boy and said, “This is Samuel for whom you prophesied.” Habakkuk, the Old Testament Prophet was overtaken by the circumstances all around him. He thinks God has removed Himself from the affairs of man. Leaders are in control who do not serve God. The prophet says: “I will stand upon my watch, and position myself upon the tower, and will watch to see what God will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.” ‒ Habakkuk 2:1 Let me ask you a question: “Are you standing upon YOUR watch?” Are you listening to what the LORD will say? Today―more than ever―people need a word from God. Yes, they need to be IN God's Word (reading and meditating), and they need the Word to be IN them … but they also need to hear specific rhemas―personal messages from God to them―directed by the Spirit of God in the timing of God. Interestingly enough, the next time I was in that city, women were saying to me, “Don’t lay hands on me!” At times I have laid hands on people in meetings and prophesied “Nations, nations, nations!” and specifically to certain individuals “You will preach to crowds of tens of thousands.” One time several ministers were at a convention, and as they got up one by one to testify they discovered that I had laid hands on each one of them and prophesied the same about nations, and that ALL of the prophecies had come to pass specifically. One minister had been ready to quit pastoring, and then began to preach to crowds of tens of thousands. Praise God for speaking to the hearts of His people to bless them and then bring salvation and healing to multitudes. What I am prophesying to you today again is this: We are at a turning point for the Body of Messiah. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the capability of computer systems or algorithms to imitate intelligent human behavior. Most of us are familiar with China's Social Credit System and the CCP's ubiquitous use of surveillance. Online behaviour is monitored … and algortihms are KEY to everything. So HOW does this fit into Geopolitics, Prophecy and Your Health? The {China] Supreme People’s Court maintains a blacklist of people who the government alleges did not comply with court judgments, for example by not paying fines, but also things like failing to formally apologize to someone they are found to have wronged. Being on the blacklist now comes with harsh punishments. You might be unable to purchase high-speed train tickets, fly on an airplane, or send your kids to a private school. The government has prohibited more than 20 million plane tickets from being purchased. SO WHAT IS AN ALGORITHM … An algorithm is a a step-by-step procedure for solving a problem or accomplishing some end. The definition of an algorithm is “a set of instructions to be followed in calculations or other operations.” This applies to both mathematics and computer science. So, at the essential level, an AI algorithm is the programming that tells the computer how to learn to operate on its own. SO HOW DOES THIS APPLY TO YOU ... What China and the CCP does “leaks” over to the USA and other countries. Online behavior is already a BIG part of what is monitors, and algorithms are KEY to everything. The basic goal is to process the vast USA data—and data from other countries—to create individual ratings which will determine YOUR access to most things … from travel to jobs. A plan released just recently by the Beijing municipal government dictates that personal creditworthiness points will be used to reward and/or punish individuals―and companies―by granting or denying them access to public services like healthcare, travel, and employment. High scoring “Green Channel” people can more easily access social opportunities. Those who actions are disapproved of by the state will be restricted …even to having passports revoked. One high profile system, which has already been used in USA for years, is Sesame Credit—created by Ant Financial—an offshoot of the Chinese online retail giant Alibaba. Using a secret algorithm, Sesame Credit constantlys scores people from 350 to 950. WARNNG: It's ratings are based upon info such as “interpersonal relationships” and “consumer habits.” Being friends with “low rated” people is NOT good … and buying video games gets you marked down! Algorithms fuel—or dictate—HOW these surveillance tools operate … and AI facilitates the operation! SO WHAT ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT ALPHABETS … You can speak all you want to … but just not in a public forum: like a local School Board Meeting OR on Social Media. [Just look back to what has happened since January 2021.] Your actions are going to be monitored more and more. How many of the people arrested for alleged Jan 6th crimes never were in the area but some communication or relationship supposedly “tied” them to that event. Look at how the Government is atttacking Elon Musk who “healed” X (formerly Twitter) and exposed unfounded censorship by Government influence on the previous Twitter. Across the world, governments have invested heavily in setting up a surveillance infrastructure. There are millions of cameras, but no one to monitor them 24/7. However, artificial intelligence (AI) can process every frame and present real-time analysis. The reason AI is making a vast impact is because of its self-learning capabilities. AI is constantly learning and improving. Error is minimized with every iteration and moves closer to—or even better than—human error. Algorithms “attempt” to influence you now whether you realize it or not. Surveillance of travel, purchases, relationships, recreation and spending—and soon thoughts—will be the next encroachment into YOUR life. Look at the recent example of Google AI Gemini which would NOT allow a “white person” image on certain searches for George Washington. Gemini responded to a prompt for “a portrait of a Founding Father of America” with images of a Native American man in a traditional headdress, a Black man, a darker-skinned non-White man and an Asian man, all in colonial-era garb. Elon Musk accused Google of pushing a pro-diversity bias into its product. Experts have long warned that AI tools therefore have the potential to replicate the racial and gender biases baked into that information. Evidence of racial bias in Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Meta AI and ChatGPT has been proven. Google's public apology after its Gemini artificial intelligence (AI) produced historically inaccurate images and refused to show pictures of White people has led to questions about potential racial bias in other big tech chatbots. Gemini was asked why showing a picture of a White person was bad: "racial generalizations" have been used historically to "justify oppression and violence against marginalized groups." Let me interject here. We are NOW at the entrance to the End Times. As we progress farther into the Last Days many demonic forces will be loosed—many are already here—look at what has happened since January, 2021. I want to share something with you that I have not only learned from experience … BUT also re-learned due to disobedience: by NOT obeying the directions of God. We are living during the Entrance of the EndTimes. More and more demonic activities are being manifested: in government, in the arts, in religion, and in media. Just look backwards for three years! Due to the sudden shift in the spiritual climate I am directed by God to warn you to make sure you use FAITH and PRAYER in your decision making. Also, to be sure of the decisions you are making: short and long term. Do NOT open yourself to demonic activity, oppression, or the results of making a decision which could subject you to attacks on your body, mind, spirit, relationships or your finances. Stay under the Anointing of God's Spirit … follow your heart as God leads you. In this teaching I am going to share with you several ways you can find deliverance IF you have made a BAD decision and also HOW to make the RIGHT decision by listening to God and following your heart. ________________________________________ IF YOU'RE NOT SURE … THEN DON'TKNOW FOR SURE If you're NOT sure ... then don't! Do NOT make rash decisions. This is one of the greatest lessons I have learned in life. Stay in the "peace" zone!!! When you feel pressured to do something ... if you do NOT have peace about it―WAIT―do NOT go forward. It is better to be at peace―to stay in the "peace zone" rather than to go ahead―even if it looks good! This can be a trick of the enemy to get you in bondage and mental duress. Pray about the situation. Do NOT let people, even friends, coerce you or persuade you to take action IF you do NOT have peace about the situation. I promised God one time that I would never do anything, or take action concerning anything, that I was NOT sure about. If I had a question about the situation, or if I did NOT have peace, I promised God that I would NOT go forward. The reason I made this promise to God was that I got into a very difficult, and emotionally trying situation, as a result of a FAST―or, rash―decision that I made. Lots of times people are emotionally distressed because of such uncertain behavior: going ahead of God! For help with depression, study my teaching, Nothing can bind you if you will follow your heart and listen to God. I am going to tell you WHAT to do if you are bound and have lost peace―that is, you have become emotionally disturbed―as a result of “going ahead of God.” First, PROMISE God that you will NEVER do anything again unless you have peace about it. That is, you will make NO rash decisions.God loves you, my friend, and He does NOT want you bound by unwise decisions and actions. He paid the GREATEST price―the gift of His Son, Messiah Yeshua―that you could be FREE! Second, ASK God to turn the situation around and smite Satan through it, and give you a BLESSING in spite of what you have done. Ask God for mercy. Read Micah Chapter 7, verses 7 thru 10 in the Tanakh (the Hebrew Old Testament). Third, give a GIFT to God. As a result of God turning this situation around, and for His mercy and kindness in restoring you, promise God AHEAD OF TIME that you will give him a certain, specific gift ... or that you will take a certain, specific action of love and/or sacrifice as a GIFT to Him. Fourth, THANK God ahead of time―and every day―for His deliverance that He is going to show you. He WILL show Himself strong in your behalf IF YOU are sincere. I trust this teaching will help you, my friend. I learned the SECRET I have shared with you the HARD WAY. And through the years, I have seen the manifold mercies of God as a result of what He taught me―even through my RASH decisions―even decisions that looked good, or that other people thought were good, but that I did NOT have peace about when I made them. Yes, stay in “the zone” where you experience continual freedom: the “peace zone.” Once there, stay there ... don’t let anyone or anything get you out of the zone. In the USA there is a 35% increase due to anxiety and/or depression. My message to YOU today is to break the stigma. Think about it: What is the difference between being treated for diabetes or thyroid or heart conditions … or for mental health conditions? What is the difference in having a prescription (Rx) for mental health problems and for physical problems? We will discuss these issues in this teaching. Our GOAL is YOUR complete DELIVERANCE, HEALING and FUTURE HEALTH. ________________________________________ HEALING AND MENTAL HEALTH WHAT IS MENTAL AWARENESS Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act … and helps determine how we: Handle stress; Relate to others; and, Make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. Over the course of your life, if you experience , your thinking, mood, and behavior could be affected. Many factors contribute to mental health conditions, including: Biological factors, such as genes or brain chemistry; Life experiences, such as abuse; or Family history of mental health problems. I know a Christian brother―a Church leader―who was suffering from a severe case of depression and went to another ministry leader for counseling. The advice he received was this: “Man up and pray more!” Now this MAY be good advice in some cases BUT not for this brother who needed serious mental help. He needed to see a seasoned psychologist OR a psychiatrist. There are several examples in the Holy Bible of God's People who were being attacked with mental issues (either from personal danger [threats] or demonic attacks or both). Elijah the Prophet was overcome with fear (1 Kings Chapter 18). Rabbi Shaul (the Apostle Paul) “despaired of life itself.” (1 Corinthians 1:8) However, notice that both of these men—Elijah and Paul—listened to God, and received HELP and DIRECTION when they obeyed God. I have a friend who was a Director of an international Christian organization whose daughter was in a very serious auto accident. As a result of the accident she suffered a brain injury. Her husband divorced her because of this condition (she had been a Sunday School teacher previously). She was so badly afflicted that she was placed in the worst cell by herself in the mental institution due to demonic possession. One day while going to visit his daughter my friend was stopped at a traffic light. Even though he was very sad thinking about his daughter and the change that had taken place in her life, he decided—while waiting for the traffic light to change—to start praising God in faith for her healing. When my friend arrived at the mental hospital his daughter was totally delivered and in her right mind for first time in months. It was such a MIRACLE that the hospital made her stay a few more days to make sure it was REAL. Below are several teachings I have done in recent years dealing with certain types of mental conditions and HOW TO BE HEALED. HEALING MENTAL DISEASE AND DEPRESSION HEALING FROM ANXIETY AND PANIC ATTACKS HEALING FROM BODY AND MIND ABUSE HEALING FROM A STRANGER IN YOUR BODY HEALING FROM STRESS Let me say that there is nothing wrong with going to doctors or seeking professional help for any type of afflictions: physical, spiritual, emotional OR mental.. Many times a person may take medicine(s) to alleviate problems while they are believing God for healing. If you find yourself in this situation just pray over the medicine and thank God for using it while you are waiting and believing the LORD――for your healing. In my book I share in the first two (2) paragraphs of the Introduction the following: “In the 39th year of King Asa's rule, he was diseased in his feet until his disease was very critical. Yet, in his disease, he did not seek the Lord, but went to the physicians for help. He died two years later. [2 Chronicles 16:11-13] There is nothing wrong with going to physicians or seeking medical help or advice. But what we should do is seek the LORD first to see what he wants us to do. He may want to heal us by His sovereign power, over a period of time, or instantaneously.” SUMMARY For too long people who have suffered mental health issues have either been looked down upon OR felt guilty (or embarrassed) for seeking professional help … and many times have been ostracized because of their condition. This should NOT be so. Seeking mental healthcare is NO different than seeking other types of healthcare! Society ... especially Christian society ... needs to remove the stigma. My friend, IF you need healing―of any kind … for anything―I am going to PRAY for you right now: “Father in Heaven, your Hebrew name is YHWH RAPHA: the LORD our Healer. I pray in the Name of your Son, Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) that the person reading this message will call to you for help … for guidance and for healing … of whatever is afflicting them.” I trust this teaching will help you, my friend. God promised when we FAST unto the LORD with a pure heart, and are living a “giving” life … when we feed the hungry and help the poor … “Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.“ – Isaiah 58:8 There are many promises in the Holy Bible (both Tanakh and Brit Chadashah) concerning healing. However, my question to YOU is “Are YOU doing YOUR part?” Let's start with some BASICS and then we'll move on to some Hidden Keys of Opposition you may NOT be aware of. Our GOAL is YOUR complete DELIVERANCE, HEALING and FUTURE HEALTH. ________________________________________ GOD, GOALS AND HEALTH ~ THE HIDDEN KEYS HIDDEN OPPOSITION TO YOUR HEALTH Have you been sick OR needed healing for a while? God promised in Exodus 15:26: “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.” Also, in Psalm 103:1-3 God says: “Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” There are many promises in the Holy Bible (both Tanakh and Brit Chadashah) concerning healing. However, my question to YOU is “Are YOU doing YOUR part?” Let's start with some BASICS and then we'll move on to some Hidden Keys of Opposition you may NOT be aware of. Our GOAL is YOUR complete DELIVERANCE, HEALING and FUTURE HEALTH. SUPER HEALTH 1. WALK 3 miles per hour four to five times a week. (Or 30 minutes 5 times a week.) 2. EAT HEALTHY FOODS: whole grains, vegetables, fruits along with poultry and meat. 3. GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP: 8 to 9 nours depending on your age. 4. TRUST IN GOD. “Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.” – Proverbs 3:7-8 HAVE A THICK SKIN If you know Jesus personally (are born again byt he Holy Spirit), God says, “YOU are His beloved” … AND … that YOU are the “Righteousness of God in Christ.” God has REMOVED all of your sins. God loves YOU as much as He does His Son, Jesus … If He didn't, He would NOT have sent His Son to die in YOUR place! The more you believe this … and the more you live like this … people will resent and oppose YOU. ____________________________ GOD LOVES YOU AS MUCH AS HE DOES HIS SON, JESUS IF HE DIDN'T, HE WOULD NOT HAVE SENT JESUS TO DIE IN YOUR PLACE. THE MORE YOU BELIEVE AND LIVE LIKE THIS ... THE MORE PEOPLE WILL RESENT YOU AND OPPOSE YOU ____________________________ There are times when you recognize resentment … even from friends or family members. Now you know where it comes from. If you choose to be ALL you want to be ~ ALL GOD WANTS YOU TO BE ~ you will be perscuted and criticized. WHY? The enemy of your soul is stirring them up to oppose you … to discourage you … TO GET YOU TO QUIT.. Let it be a SIGN that you are in the will of God and successful in the Spirit. KEEP GOING FORWARD! ____________________________ KEEP GOING FORWARD AND YOUR HEALING WILL MANIFEST AS YOU FORGIVE THEM ____________________________ IMAGINE THIS SCENARIO Jesus is YOUR Defense Attorney Satan is the Prosecutor: YOUR Accuser A great host of witnesses in Heaven is YOUR Jury ADVICE Do NOT confess or admit what the Prosecutor says about YOU Confess truth from YOUR Defense Attorney: “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” “My sins are removed.” – See Philippians 3:9 ____________________________ “The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.”– Proverbs 12:18 “Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.”– Proverbs 16:24 ____________________________ SUMMARY Resentment and opposition from others against YOU can often create a “MENTAL WALL” that hinders YOUR healing even though YOU may NOT be aware of it. Pray for discernment over people, things and situations and insight into obscure events. If the lORD leads you to, go on a fast. As you forgive and are helping people your healing will begin to spring forth speedily. At times we may have been let down by ourselves: from convictions or unfaithfulness. So what should we―or can we―do? I know a person who has experienced BOTH … and came out victoriously. Let me share their SECRET of victory with you in this message. ________________________________________ EL EMET ~ GOD OF TRUTHDO YOU FEEL LET DOWN? Have you ever felt betrayed? Have you ever felt that people you really tried to help turned their back on you? And … you felt let down! Have you ever felt that YOU let yourself down? Maybe you violated your own system of fair play … or you fell short of other people's expectations of you. If so, I have some GOOD NEWS for you. I know a very successful leader who experienced the same―and came out victorious. Let's examine the life of that person to see IF there is an answer for YOU … and for ME. I imagine Joseph felt let down when his brothers threw him into a pit … and later sold him to traders who took him down into Egypt. I imagine Joseph felt let down when he was finally noticed and hired by Potiphar to rule his household … but later accused of rape [which did NOT happen] and was thrown into prison. I imagine Joseph felt let down when after he interpreted two men's dream in prison, one of the men was restored to serve Pharaoh BUT did NOT mention it to Pharaoh as Joseph had requested.... UNTIL … Pharaoh had a dream that needed interpreting. BUT GOD! Joseph ended up running all of Egypt, second in command to only Pharaoh. God is the God of truth―El Emet is His Hebrew name. If our trust is in Him we can rely on the fact that He knows what is going on in our lives. When nobody around us knows what is going on―when nobody around us knows we've been betrayed OR maybe doesn't care―we can still rely on our Friend, El Emet, to see us through. King David was very successful. God calls him “A man after my heart,” but that was only with reference to his professional life, NOT his personal life. David loved God … but he forgot to FEAR God. He committed adultery with Bathsheba, and then had her husband killed in battle. David repented after being rebuked by Nathan the Prophet about his sin. And David cries out to God in thankfulness for being everything his enemies were NOT. Psalm 31 is a deeply personal prayer by King David expressing distress and sorrow because of enemies and rejection by friends. When people are not trustworthy, God is reliable. When others turned against David and tried to trap him, David trusted God to be faithful. We've all been let down at one time or another. We speak to someone in confidence and find out they share our conversation with others. We're promised a promotion and find out is was a lie. Maybe a person near to you―possibly a family member or spouse―is a pathological liar. My friend, when people tell lies and falsehoods about you, El Emet stands firm as the God of Truth. BUT … we, too, fall short at times. We fall short in our commitments or our faithfulness. So, what must we do? We must do what Joseph and King David did ... CRY OUT TO GOD and keep going forward! Do your BEST … forget the rest! Anyone can count the seeds in an apple … but only God can count the apples in a seed! Do NOT be discouraged … God delights in “re-do's” and He will “re-do” things for you!. WHY? Because he knows YOUR heart, and He sees what has been―and is―going on in your life. He is the God of Truth, El Emet. You don't need to beat yourself up anymore. You're going to have an EXCELLENT future! ____________________ For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, Lead me and guide me. Pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, For You are my strength. Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth. Yeshua fulfilled what Isaiah the prophet said 750 years before: He bore our sicknesses and diseases. He carried away our pains. With his stripes WE ARE HEALED. Yeshua’s body and mind took punishment for us … his blood paid for our sins. His body was beaten, wounded, and bruised (even before he was crucified ) and then he was nailed to the wooden cross … FOR OUR HEALING: spiritual, physical, and mental! Oppression - both mental and physical - are included in Yeshua’s work for us. Messiah was driven; he was abased and looked down upon. Isaiah 53:7 says, "He was oppressed and he was afflicted …" In Isaiah 53:4, where it reads, " … he carried our ‘pains’ …", the literal Hebrew meaning is "acute pain; intense suffering: MENTAL or PHYSICAL." What Yesua did FOR you, you don’t have to do! Yeshua healed the separation between G-d and man through his work FOR US, and therefore ended Satan’s dominion over ALL who would trust in Messiah! "For this purpose the Son of G-d was manifested, that he might DESTROY the works of the devil." G-d’s Word heals: G-d’s nature is healing, and he has given LIFE to his Word. You can be healed by knowing what God promises in his Word concerning healing. Find the promises G-d has made you in the Holy Bible for healing and for health, and then appropriate one or more of these promises for yourself. Speak the promises of G-d to yourself (or to others). Your faith will rise as you do. "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of G-d." (Romans 10:17) As you confess (or speak aloud) the promises of G-d, your healing will come. Don’t worry if you don’t see it as soon as you think you should … it has to happen! Yeshua taught that what you speak will come to pass if you believe it in your heart (Mark 11:23). Don’t talk sickness, or doubt, or unbelief anymore … start talking healing, faith, and belief … based upon what your Father G-d has promised you! Hearing and meditating upon the Word of G-d produce healing, also. I have known people to be healed of conditions they have had for years by HEARING G-d’s Word while I was preaching (both in worship services indoors and preaching outdoors). "And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following." (Mark 16:20) Meditating (thinking deeply or fixing attention) upon G-d’s Word brings life and health, also. Proverbs 4:20-22 tells us: "My son, attend to my words; incline [or, direct] your ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the middle of your heart. In this podcast I am going to teach you how to be healed by the laying on of hands. LAYING ON OF HANDS After Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and before he went back to Heaven, he said: "And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues … they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." (Mark 16:17-18) Notice three things Jesus told us: "In my name …" "you shall lay hands on the sick," "they (the sick) shall recover." IN MY NAME - It is the name of Jesus the Messiah, (the Holy One of God) which is to accompany the laying on of hands. It is THE NAME that is above every name [Philippians 2:8-9]. The NAME of Jesus Christ joins God’s power to your action. The name of Jesus identifies you: it tells "sickness" and "demons" the authority behind your action and command; it tells them you belong to and are a believer in Jesus, the One who conquered them and their master, Satan! The name of Jesus identifies you with the One who CREATED the world and who BOUGHT IT BACK (after Adam’s sin) with his own blood! Use the name of Jesus with authority: as a citizen of Messiah’s Kingdom. If you are in doubt, just whisper the name of Jesus for a while. "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus …." It will call God’s power to the scene! If it is a case of demon affliction, speak with authority (not your authority, but Christ’s) and say: "You devil, come out! I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of this person!" YOU SHALL LAY HANDS ON THE SICK - If you are a believer in Jesus, then God wants to use you to heal others. You have the privilege, as well as the responsibility, of laying hands on the sick and praying for them: whether they are Christians or non-Christians. (See Luke 4:40; Acts 28:8.) Your hands become Christ’s hands: his tool! The power of the Holy Spirit flows through your hands. You may not see it, you may not feel it … but it is POWER just the same. The devil is afraid of your touch! Because of distance, sometimes, you are not able to lay hands on the sick person. (The person you want to pray for may be in a different city.) You can then send them a "prayer cloth" to be laid on the body of the sick person. "And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them." [Acts 19:11-12] Prayer cloths are very effective! Demons (evil spirits) are cast out, sick bodies are healed, minds are restored. Pray over the cloth (lay your hands on it) in the name of Jesus Christ and ask God to send deliverance, healing, and blessing. You heard right: rest! First of all, healing through rest is a promise provided for us in the Holy Bible. In the Tanakh, we read: “If you keep your feet from stomping on the Sabbath―from pursuing your own interests on my holy day―if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord’s Holy Day honorable; and if you honor it by not going your own ways and seeking your own pleasure or speaking merely idle words, then you will take delight in the Lord, and he will make you ride upon the high places of the earth; and he will make you feast on the inheritance of your ancestor Jacob, your father. Yes! The mouth of the Lord has spoken.” ‒ Isaish 58:13-14 Notice, when you “ride on the heights of the earth” you have dominion … you have perspective and are ABOVE the things of the earth. You are in a position of blessing by God. You are blessed. Also, when you “feast on the inhertitance of you ancestor Jacob” you are partaking spiritually―plus physically and materially―of the health and wealth of the father of the 12 tribes of Israel. Notice something interesting. In the context of Isaiah Chapter 58 we read about fasting as well as rest. In my personal experience, one of the quickest ways to receive healing is through “fasting unto the LORD.” Sometimes, just a three day fast with water only … or, even a three day fast until 7 PM (and then eating healthy food) … has brought immediate healing. Notice what God promises in Isaiah Chapter 58 concerning fasting: “Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will spring up quickly; and your vindication will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will guard your back. Then you’ll call, and the Lord will answer; you’ll cry for help, and He will respond, ‘I am here.’” – Verses 8 and 9 Let me give you a personal testimony of how God used REST to bring me healing. I had been very busy holidng evangelistic and tent meetings and in addition I had contracted for a busy schedule of radio production. Quickly I was entered into the Intensive Care center of the hospital with several unknown rare diseases. I was placed into an isolation room where even the nurse was NOT allowed to enter. When the nurse was taking my information (she had to stand outside the door), she asked me, “What is your date of birth.” I asked her, “Which one do you want?” She said, “Do you mean that you have been born more than once?” I said, “Yes, when I came out of my mother's womb … AND … when I gave my life to Jesus Christ.” She answered, “I know what you're talking about. My father is a minister; but I have never experienced the new birth.” (I don't remember if she received the LORD there or not.) Then she asked me, “What is your address?” I then told her, “Heaven.” The nurse came back in a vew minutes and said, “Where were you? The doctor came in to see you in your room and you were NOT there.” I said, “I have NOT left.” Then I realized that I was on the other side of my bed on the ground praying and the doctor could not see me from where he stood at the door. Anyway, as soon as I was placed in the isolation ward room, I placed my hands behind my head … and laying back … I realized instantly WHY I was there. In a moment, the LORD impressed on my mind the verse from Isaiah 30:15: “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and you would not.” I then realized I had been busy doing God's work holding tent and evangelistic meetings, working to support the ministry, and travelling … but NOT taking my Day of Rest. When I realized this, I repented before the LORD and asked for His forgiveness. Instantly, I could tell that I had been healed. My friend, truly God has given YOU a practical and effective―cost effective―means of healing: REST. “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls.”‒ Jesus of Nazareth “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength.”‒ Isaiah 30:15 _____________ If you want to meet the Healer, Yeshua HaMashiach―Jesus the Anointed One―NOW is the time! I was holding a three day seminar and I had asked the people present to join me in prayer and fasting for the last day as I was going to teach on healing. A man was present who had been in a wheel chair for nine years due to two conditions: 1. A large 18 wheel semi-tractor truck had run into his automobile and he had five breaks in his spine; 2. He had muscular dystrophy. During Holy Communion he walked out of his wheel chair and never went back! Two years later, he gave his testimony in a large denominational church and hundreds of people fell out of their seats under the Power of the Holy Spirit. The purpose of this podcast is to lead you on a path to help you find relief … and deliverance – total and permanent healing – from unnecessary pain and discomfort in the head and jaw. HEALING FROM HEADACHES: JAW AND HEAD PAIN The World Health Organization estimates that nearly half of the adult population suffers from headaches.1 One of the most insidious, but considered by many non-threatening, areas of disease is that which encompasses head pain, including jaw pain. It may be called disease because it is just that: “dis – ease, or “lack of ease, or “non-ease.” God wants YOU healed, healthy and whole. My job is to help you attain that position. First, let's start with the problem. Are you having either periodic or recurring pain in your head or jaw? If it is constant (not just recurring or periodic) then you need a help NOW: you need a miracle or you need to see a doctor or call 911. First, let me PRAY for you. “Father in Heaven, in the name of Your Son I command the pain to leave this person immediately … NOW … and I loose the HEALING POWER of Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus, the Messiah) to enter this person. Be healed and made whole in the Name of the LORD.” Now … it is time for YOU to pray. First, ask the LORD Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and to take over your life. Ask Messiah Jesus to be your LORD. Next, if for some reason (known or unknown) you do NOT experience the release of pain, then if the problem has been either recurring or periodic, I want you to plan a strategy and ask God to guide you in this strategy. Do the following: pray, and ask God to lead you to the following (they must be honest professionals with good reviews and references): A medical doctor (Primary Care Physician); A dentist; An ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat specialist); and, A chiropractor. The Primary Care Physician (PCP) can check you and give you referrals to #2, #3, and #4 above. The dentist (#2) and the EEN (#3) and the Chiropractor (#4) can help you eliminate the source (or sources) of your problem. The dentist can identify if a condition in your teeth or gums is causing your head or jaw pain. The EEN can identify if a condition in your ears, nose or throat is causing the problem. The chiropractor can analyze your musculoskeletal system to identify if perhaps it is a subluxation complex problem is causing your pain. Because the vertebrae protect the spinal cord, even a small disturbance to the vertebrae can profoundly affect delicate nerve tissue. Also, the impairment to the nerve system can cause tissues and organs throughout the body to function poorly. You will want to PRAY at each step of the way and ask God to help the doctor analyze your specific problem with accuracy. For example, if both the dentist and the EEN specialist tell you that you should be experiencing NO problem (that is, the pain in head or jaw pain is NOT being caused by a condition in you teeth, gums, ear, nose or throat) then it is a fairly good probability that the problem lies with a spinal (including the neck) or jaw condition. Even if you have some teeth that need working on (for example, cavities), an honest dentist will tell you if that is NOT causing your problem with head or jaw pain. They may even tell you to come back when you are experiencing severe pain (if you are not at the time you see them) to help them provide you with a more accurate diagnosis. If it turns out that it is a problem with the jaw or jaw misalignment or TMJ, the chiropractor may be able to adjust the alignment or treat the musculoskeletal condition that is the culprit. It may take only one treatment (adjustment) or you may need a successive number of treatments. Restoring musculoskeletal balance is KEY to preventing and treating your headaches. The strategy outlined above is to help you eliminate what is NOT causing your problem so that you can focus on what IS causing your problem. Then, with prayer and directed activity you can focus on healing the root of the problem: the cause of the symptoms! Be careful about online video exercises for problems with your jaw or problems with TMJ as you may aggravate the situation. If you have narrowed the problem to jaw condition, then ask a chiropractor or other holistic health professional what is a good healthy and preventive maintenance routine. Even then, if you experience aggravation, stop immediately. If you have access to a swimming pool, periodic (daily or other) light swimming may bring much sought after relief: it helps to reduce both muscular tension and stress. Give it a try and see … and remember to pray for healing while you are swimming. Learn to work with God. He is for you! If you are Spirit-filled, pray in tongues while you are swimming. Chiropractic can effectively relieve the most common types of headache: migraine (one-sided); tension type (vice like); and, cervicogenic (stemming from the neck). Abnormal motion of the neck joints can lead to headaches. Headaches can have one or more causes: biomechanical, vascular, psychological, genetic, neurological or environmental. Also, there are several possible headache triggers: excessive stress, chocolate, red wine, caffeine, aged cheeses, MSG, improper sleep patterns, weather changes, pollution, and vigorous or unbalanced exercise. Regardless of the root cause, God wants you healed and healthy. And then … you can go help others to healing and to a life of health! Pray right now and ask God to reveal the sources of your headaches – your jaw or head pain – and to heal you: either miraculously or to lead you in planning a strategy for healing. Remember, it doesn't matter HOW God works … just so He works!
