Heartland Stories Radio is a weekly 29-minute radio show hosted by good food pioneer Theresa Marquez and sponsored by the Heartland Health Research Alliance (https://hh-ra.org/). Dr. Teresa Mares is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at the University of Vermont and the Director for the Graduate Program in Food Systems. She received her M.A. (2005) and Ph.D. (2010) in Sociocultural Anthropology from the University of Washington. She also completed a graduate certificate in Women Studies at the University of Washington. Hendrick MD Professor, is the Director of the Division of Environmental Pediatrics and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Pediatrics at the New York University (NYU) School of Medicine.
