The New England Sword Gathering has a set of events that they are putting on including Brass Frog Assault of Arms this weekend, June 28th through 30th in East Haddam, Ct. The Western Swordsmanship Technique and Research, WSTR is hosting it. Jeff Lord is an instructor and founding member of ARMS, the Association for Renaissance and Medieval Swordsmanship. You can find more information at . July 19th through 21st I'll be hosting the Flower of Battle with LAD Historical Fencing in Reading Pennsylvania. I don't normally toot my own horn, but I hope you'll forgive me for being excited to host a 3 day event that in addition to a Longsword Tournament, will have a Cutting Tournament, A Techniques Tournament, Singlestick, Dagger, Messer, Grab-Bag Mixed Weapons, and Grappling tournaments, as well as a host of classes with instructors such as Chuck Gross with HEMAStrong, Julie Olson, Connor Kemp-Cowell, Patrick Bratton, Charles Lin, James Reed, and others! We're pulling a lot of talent in the Mid-Atlantic region together to put on something special.
