1 Peter 3:13-17 Peter warns that there will be friction between the culture around us and the true believer. Every believer needs to be ready for this. info_outline 1 Peter 2:1-12 05/02/2017
1 Peter 2:1-12 The "If...Then.." Principle is an important Biblical concept in a healthy Christianity and one the Peter emphasizes throughout his letter. "If you have truly been born again then you will live accordingly" is a Biblical truth taught throughout the New Testament. The Books of Hebrews and James talk a lot about this for instance. Chapter Two of 1 Peter begins by giving us three "If...Thens". If I am a true believer then I will lay some things aside, long for something, and value something. Learn what these are in this message.

info_outline 1 Peter 1:6-9 03/21/2017
1 Peter 1:6-9 After his introduction, Peter begins by writing that Christianity may not be easy. Though the believer is overjoyed at the assurance of heaven, yet still, he may experience different kinds of trials in this life. These will come in order to prove his belief genuine to the glory of God. There are two sides two every trial. On the one hand, God is seeking to prove the believer's faith genuine. On the other, Satan is tempting the believer in the hopes of turning him against God.
info_outline 1 Peter 1:1-5 03/15/2017
1 Peter 1:1-5 Would Peter be writing this letter to me? The answer depends on my response to four basic Gospel-Oriented questions that can be drawn from Peter's introduction. If I can't answer "Yes" to these four questions nothing else Peter teaches later in the letter can apply to me.
info_outline Culture Shock 07/17/2016
Culture Shock Acts 17:11-34 Paul was a guy who couldn't rest within himself as he witnessed a culture around him without Christ. So, he did something about it. He acted upon the Spirit's movement in his life and did his best to tell people, inside the church and out, the Good News of Jesus Christ. He was ready to speak to anyone about this - the learned and the unlearned - religious or not. Are you, like Paul?
info_outline Preach the Gospel 05/24/2016
Preach the Gospel Acts 13:13-47 Each one of us are responsible for preaching the Gospel whenever we can; and it should be like an itch that needs to be scratched in our lives. This sermon will help encourage us to look for opportunities to share Jesus Christ in any situation, just like the Apostle Paul.
