This family operation got started in 2019, and opened officially to the public with their mobile shop in 2020. Two days later, COVID forced them to close. Last December, I had the opportunity to sit down with Michael, Amy, Dustin, and Lindsey, owners of The Upper Room Brewery. At the time, they were hoping to be up and running after the first of the year. It turned out to be the end of January. There was a nervous anxiety that you could almost feel hanging in the air last year. The burden of what needed to be done, and the unknown of what was to come. Fast forward 11 months to this interview, and the nervous anxiety has been replaced with laughter, appreciation, and calm. It hasn't all been easy, as they will admit, but I think they would all say that it has been worth it.
