The government is offering help for households. In today's episode Gavin White explains the cost of living support you could be eligible for. Help and support is available. Please follow the links below for more information: - Manchester City Council There is also now a dedicated, cost of living help and advice line that residents can call, Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm. This will be a place that residents can get help with fuel bills, rent, access to food, advice with debts and support to get online. Call 0800 023 2692 for further help and support. In addition to our local foodbank in Withington and Fallowfield, Southway also have a number of initiatives to help local residents in Old Moat with the cost of living this winter too: • Energy Buddies – Advice and Support for Southway residents with bills and home insulation - • Quids In Food Club – Weekly food pantry at Old Moat Children’s Centre • Help with Rent – Help and support with paying rent with Southway this winter Old Moat Podcast with Gavin White is a podcast about the Old Moat area in the district of Withington, Manchester.
