Dr. Jacqueline Dougé experience includes general pediatric practice, project management, policy development, program development, evaluation, health promotion, health disparities, media, adolescent health, school health, cultural competency, and community engagement Dr. Douge is currently the Director of Child Health Bureau at the Howard County Health Department (HCHD) in Columbia, MD where she oversees HCHD child health programs which include the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) program, school-based wellness program, infant and toddlers, adolescent health and Family Options AND a parenting and pregnant teen home visiting program. She also serves as medical consultant for the Howard County Public School System. Dr. Dougé holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Medical Degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Rutgers University Dr. Dougé has served in several volunteer and leadership roles, including the American Academy of Pediatrics Public Health Special Interest Group Co-chair, and THE Past President of the Maryland Public Health Association. She is also a member of the Task Force on Diversity and Inclusion for the American Academy of Pediatrics.
