On Judging

On Judging is an original podcast from Desmond Lyons, a full-time New York lawyer and Part Time New York Judge. This podcast explores issues ranging from the role of courts in a constitutional republic, the importance of judicial independence, current issues relating to judicial reform, unconscious biases, to perspectives on personal and professional “judicial journeys.” We will focus on the independence and integrity of the judiciary, as well as how courts serve the nation as part of our constitutional system of government. Through in-depth discussions and insight from America’s most distinguished judges, law professors and lawyers we hope to educate lawyers, judges, law students and all interested participants about the art and world of judging.
