Our POoRCHoices the Podcast is a weekly comedy show where long time friends get together to discuss absurd situations, movies, and random topics that will likely prove to be poor choices. Listen in each week as Corporal, Commando, Sarcastro, Fatty, and Banky pick apart life's best and worst decisions and look for the humor in the world.

Fatty returns to work to find some fine craftsmanship done in one of the rooms he works in. He also has to solve the mystery of who damaged his new candle before he could even use it (yes, his new candle). The First Ones - Blansky's Beauties Welcome to The First Ones, an Our POoRCHoices podcast. On this series Sarcastro and Queen Mel pick a show from yesteryear and maybe grab a couple of guests from around the POoRCHoices offices and recap just the first episode of said show while dissecting it and determining if it's a show that would fly in today's entertainment landscape. In the season two opener of The First Ones Sarcastro and Queen Mel are joined by guest commentator Fatty and producer Banky to talk about Blansky's Beauties, A Garry Marshall show that was so good at getting cancelled they made the same show twice using several of the cast members under a different show name and on two networks. Starring Nancy Walker of Rhoda and The Dick van Dyke Show fame, as Nancy Blansky, a showbiz veteran who is spending her twilight years raising her nephews (played by Eddie Mekka and a very young Scott Baio) while managing a group of show girls at what may be one of the seediest hotels in Las Vegas. Episode 232 - All Together Now This week the whole gang is back together for the first time in months to discuss fine dining and deals from places like Olive Garden and Chili's. Learning the hard way that they’re all breaking down (body-wise) as Corporal talks about how he ended up with a hernia that needed to be repaired immediately. Fatty gets a shoulder injury from playing video games just days before he received a load of firewood to the cabin that needed to be stacked. Sarcastro is still nursing a broken toe but muscles through playing volleyball. Banky overextends a muscle in his ribs by just existing and then learns everything makes it hurt. Commando pops a muscle in his forearm while handling some landscaping duties. Commando also buys an e-bike while on vacation and becomes the envy of the group. In the realm of poor choices, Fatty gets a reminder of the golden rule when it comes to spending money on a boat, leave well enough alone. They also reminisce about the rear facing seats in the cars they grew up riding in. Episode 231 - South Park, Street Fighters, Porta Potty Plans, and House Guests This week Sarcastro, Fatty, and Banky get together to discuss the first episode of the twenty-seventh epsiode of South Park and how it was a return to what they liked best about the show. Fatty shares that he finally received his official Founders Club card for Casa Bonita and a pack of stickers he's been waiting for. Banky watches yet another bad movie, How to Kill Monster, but in all fairness both Corporal and Fatty warned him about and also watched 1994's live action Street Fighter movie all the way through for the first time. Sarcastro Finally watches a Wes Anderson film and picke, The Phoenician Scheme, and couldn't make it past the first 41 minutes of it based on the plot and script but did say the acting was good. Fatty asks for validation on the idea of adding a porta-potty to the back yard of the cabin as an extra bathroom once the other upgrades are done. Sarcastro solves the mystery of his missing Our POoRCHoices the Podcast branded cup. Fatty shares his upcoming poor choice, having his father stay with him and feed him for the upcoming weekend and he would seem to have an even more select taste palate than Commando does. Corporal finds the worst movie he could watch, and Banky learns a lesson in not tempting fate when it comes to allergies. Fatty finds a vintage VHS movie where a liquidation sale has the price tag on the clearance tag at a higher price than the original price sticker from the hardware store it came from. Sarcastro tells the tale of how Prince Sarcastro learned the quick way a buck doesn't go as far as he thinks it would and gets a lesson in how pay cycles work. Fatty makes the better choice to avoid bridges as best he on the way to the New England region for a camping trip to avoid the poor choice of having to have a panic attack while driving due to his fear of bridges. Meanwhile, Sarcastro shares his entire family's poor choice in going to see the new Jurassic World movie which clearly didn't live up to his idea of what a Jurassic Park/World cinematic universe. Somehow this is a show that Sarcastro never watched growing up but one that Corporal remembers in the deepest chambers of his mind. Starring Marla Gibbs, Hal Williams, and an extremely saucy and overly sexually charged up Jackée Harry it was definitely a show for the time and the pilot episode teaches the gang about the perils of being honest, or perhaps the friendships you can make when you try to decieve people. Episode 223 - Buggin' Out This week the fellas talk about forgetting to not hold their breath when taking videos or photos on their phones to not pick up their heavy breathing. They also discuss upcoming travel plans and what shows/movies they are watching or want to watch this summer. Commando comes prepared with three poor choices involving a mishap with a cherished show themed product that neither he or Fatty actually ever fully clean; waiting too long for a nasal irrigation system but not reading the instructions about when to use and when not to use it; and finally being a nice guy at a gig and donating his drink tickets to a thristy event attendee. Corporal shares his experience in seeing Bella Fleck and an orchestra instead of going to the Wu-Tang Clan show in Atlanta. Right at the end Fatty learns he made a poor choice live during the show while at the cabin and now has to fight off invaders with a dust buster. For poor choices for the week, Banky makes the assumption that the scope he's been using wasn't the problem at the range and that he just stinks at target practice but as it turns out, he's just not that bright and the scope was never sighted until Fatty recognized the issue with a target that was never hit after 100 plus rounds. This month Sarcastro is joined by Fatty, Banky and friend of the show and co-host of The Sunnydale Diaries, a Buffy the Vampire Slayer podcast, Queen Mel to talk about a show she recommended, Tales from the Darkside. A horror anthology series which Sarcastro was the only one on the show who had never heard of it. The first episode happened to be an actual aired pilot that first hit television around Halloween in 1983 and was about a loan shark played by Barnard Hughes (Grandpa from The Lost Boys) and who happened to enjoy Halloween so much he put on a free haunted house for the kids of the indebted parents in town. Fatty gets reminded that he's not the spring chicken he used to be after a weekend of adding upgrades to his party shed at the lake. Sarcastro learns the hard way that you really have to wash jalapeno pepper oil off your hands quite throroughly. Banky acknowledges that he may have more Yeti products than any one household actually needs after Fatty calls him out during a recent game night. Banky joins in to help recall how much they actually don't remember about the show and question the writers' decision to have the power of flight propelled by hairspray cans used to rescue a damsel in distress when the main character had super speed. As they look to find who could play the main character in a reboot of the series, Sarcastro suggests using Prince Sarcastro as the new teen star and Captain (Sarcastro's dad) as the crazy scientist neighbor.
