Harmoni Zax: Another Door Opens — From Pain to Purpose
Harmoni Zax joins MadLuh on QSJ Radio's “Digging up the Underground” for a conversation that goes beyond the songs. Harmoni Zax is the musical identity of singer-songwriter, actress and creative artist Heidi Robinson. Her songwriting journey began when she was just seven years old, and her music has continued to explore some deeply personal territory — love, faith, mental health, addiction, recovery, relationships and the experiences that shape us. In this conversation, MadLuh digs into the story behind the artist. We talk about Harmoni's early start as a songwriter, turning difficult life experiences into music, her song “Battling Drink,” her work as an actress, her connection with Collective Encounters Theatre for Social Change, and the story behind “Precious.” We also talk about faith, love, songwriting and her album Another Door Opens — and what that title represents for where she is today. And because every good conversation needs room to breathe, we take a few turns away from the serious stuff and get to know the person behind the artist. 🎙️ IN THIS EPISODE: • Writing her first song at seven years old • Turning personal experiences into songwriting • “Battling Drink” and creative recovery • Acting and the connection between acting and music • Collective Encounters and creative expression • The story behind “Precious” • Love, faith and songwriting • Another Door Opens • The person behind Harmoni Zax 🎧 FIND HARMONI ZAX Website: Instagram: X / Twitter: TikTok: Facebook: 📻 ABOUT QSJ RADIO This is QSJ Radio.
