Ron's Amazing Stories is home to a variety of thrilling and thought-provoking tales. In this episode, we have an extended segment of These Are Your Stories, where listeners share their own eerie and unexplained experiences. RAS #627 - Martian VFW
On Ron's Amazing Stories, we have an exciting lineup of tales that will captivate your imagination. First up, we have a review of one of my favorite audiobooks, Moon - The Dragon Prince. This epic adventure combines a compelling storyline with superb narration. Next, we delve into the archives of These Are Your Stories for a special tale that will leave speechless. A seemingly ordinary encounter on a beach turns into an extraordinary experience that will challenge your beliefs and have your jaws dropping. For our featured stories, we turn to the pages of the classic pulp magazines. I'm a big fan of alien invasion adventures, and this one is not like anything you've heard before. And to close the show, we have a short but powerful piece of pulp fiction titled Resurrection. This captivating story explores the idea of reincarnation before the scientific understanding of DNA. So press that play button and Enjoy the show. Featured Story - Martian V.F.W. Our featured story comes from the 1950s pulp mag scene. It was written G.L. Vandenburg. He was one of those writers who would flourish during the golden age of science fiction. In this story we look at one possible way the world could be invaded, but it is not what you think. It is titled Martian V.F.W. and was first published in Amazing Science Fiction Stories in May of 1959. There's nothing like a parade, I always say. Of course, I'm a Martian.
