Moses is caught in the tension between God’s holiness and the nation’s need for mercy. On the one hand, the people deserve to be consumed, and God, in his holiness, cannot simply be among them, in their sin. Given God’s holiness and the people’s sin, how can Moses confidently go from Sinai to the promised land? Moses wants to know more about this God. Who is he? What kind of God is he? Will he forgive? 209. Strong and Courageous
Moses could not lead Israel into the land of promise and rest. Joshua — who was not a young man at this time, found that now it was his time to lead, but only after God had prepared him. Joshua was prepared by faithful service in small things, in being Moses’ assistant. Joshua is told…Be Strong and Courageous. But what does this mean? It genuinely feels like one of those “Christianese” statements that church people love to say without fully understanding what it means. It seems strange to be telling Joshua, who was one of the two spies, among the group of twelve, to see the promised land with the enemy as large as giants, yet report to Moses that they could take the land. You’re telling Joshua, who hasn’t demonstrated any lack of strength or courage in any aspect of his life, to be strong and courageous. So…what is the Lord saying? 208. The Emergence of The Faithful Ones (w/Ryan Johnson)
The Emergence of The Faithful Ones (w/Ryan Johnson) The Blacksmith Chronicles Podcast Ep 208 I have been consistently seeking the Lord and asking Him to give me the understanding of hope, redemption, and reconciliation in a genuine need for repentance. I have sought the Lord as I am aware that it appears the Body of Christ continues to receive a black eye as people have been hurt (emotionally, spiritually, and/or physically), and many have left the church with more questions than answers, and some have walked away from the Lord because of what man has demonstrated to them. 207. Go Forward (w/Ryan Johnson)
It’s interesting that every time you and I intentionally set aside time to honor the Lord, whether in worship, prayer, or studying His Word…the enemy becomes more aggressive than ever to see that we are overworked through spiritual warfare than when we originally determined to honor the Lord. The enemy has been and will continue to use the same old tactics to keep you and me from honoring the Lord. Nothing has changed! For some, you are willing to follow the Lord, but you have continued to embrace an Egyptian mentality. You are willing to follow the cloud by day and fire by night. But the minute you see war, any kind of spiritual warfare…you want to go back to the bondage that you believe is more comfortable than the battle that may ensue. 202. The Kingdom: The King is Coming
08/29/2023
202. The Kingdom: The King is Coming
The Kingdom of God, at this moment in time, is not a specific local region or establishment. This Kingdom of God that Jesus was describing is not a place where God reigns, but rather the reign of God itself – God’s rule, authority, and power. The kingdom is not something we create by our own efforts, but rather something we receive. The Kingdom of Heaven has positioned us, because of what Jesus has done for us, with the Keys and Authority of the Kingdom of Heaven. With that said, then… When is the Kingdom of God Coming? Did Jesus preach the coming of the kingdom as a future reality, as many Christians affirm? Or did he believe that the Kingdom of God was truly present in his earthly ministry, as defining it to be in our day and time? 201. The Kingdom: Keys and Authority

201. The Kingdom: Keys and Authority
Given the popularity of Jesus, you might think that most people would have a reasonably accurate understanding of his message, which he proclaimed and enacted over 2,000 years ago in Judea. Most people cannot describe the core message of Jesus. If you were to ask the average person what Jesus’ preached – even the average Christian – you’d probably hear something about love: “Jesus taught about love. He said we should all love each other.” A well-informed person might remember that Jesus called his followers to love their enemies. So is love the center of Jesus’ message. In fact, he did talk quite a bit about love. Jesus said that loving God is the greatest commandment and that loving our neighbors is an extension of loving God (Mark 12:29-31). If Jesus had been telling people to love each other around Judea, he certainly wouldn’t have been crucified on a Roman cross. Neither the Romans nor the Jewish authorities would have been bothered by a Jew who told people to love each other. Though the Romans were enemies of first-century Jews, they wouldn’t have crucified someone whose main crime was telling Jews to love them and turn the other cheek! What was and is the Core Message of Jesus? 200. Why Does It Matter (w/Benjamin Deitrick)
Benjamin and Tarrah Deitrick have both been in ministry since the early 2000s. They began by serving as missionaries in the United States in Various capacities in Eagles’ Wings Ministries in the Greater Buffalo NY area under the direction of Bishop Robert Stearns. In 2011, they felt the call to move to Ann Arbor, MI., and serve alongside Apostle Barbara Yoder in Shekinah Church. Here they served 10 and a half years in various capacities again. In January 2022, their season of pastoring ended and they were in another transition. At the time they transitioned out of Shekinah, Tarrah was the Head Pastor and Benjamin was the Leader/Visionary Apostle. After seeking the Lord for many months, Benjamin and Tarrah founded Ignite Ministries International in Maricopa, AZ. Benjamin and Tarrah have three children, (their princesses) Faith (10), Lily (8), and Sophia (3). 199. The Father, Our Hope (w/Ryan Johnson)
When cities and nations have been on the verge of collapsing morally, God has always raised up people who would pray. God brought spiritual revivals and awakenings, bringing people back to “a right standing with God.” It’s time to pray to God, turn our hearts back to God, and turn away from our rebellion against God and his word so that our children, our families, and our nation might have this God kind of hope and be saved. Where has hope gone in the schools and towns and cities of America? Have we lost the hope that once resounded in our schools, when children called out to God in prayer? Hope is not far away! 196. The False Messiah Destroying Christianity (w/Lucas Miles)

196. The False Messiah Destroying Christianity (w/Lucas Miles)
In Woke Jesus, Lucas discusses several very timely and relevant topics associated with the deceptions of Progressive Christianity with the American church, including: The history and origins of Wokeism, beginning with Gnosticism, eventually finding its place within a Hegelian and Marxist framework and then morphing into what we see today. How Woke Christianity abandons traditional biblical interpretations regarding marriage, gender, racial equality, justice, original sin, heaven and hell, and salvation, thus replacing those traditions with political correctness, cancel culture, hedonistic values, obsession with public health, allegiance to the Leftist state, universalism, and virtue signaling. How Progressive Christianity reduces Christ to a mere revolutionary, prophet, or sage who is only useful to the degree that His behavior aligns with liberal “morals” that support a progressive view of race, gender, and sexuality. Woke Jesus argues that few institutions are responsible for unifying the nation more than the church. As such, it’s imperative, spiritually for the sake of the lost and geo-politically for global freedom, that orthodox Christianity proves true. For these reasons, every Christian should take seriously their role in pushing back the darkness of Wokeism and Critical Theory in all of its forms. In Woke Jesus, Lucas helps provide practical ways to do so.
