The Semi-Pro Show Thursday Showdown Bets & DFS

The Semi-Pro Show Thursday Showdown Bets & DFS
The Semi-Pro Show Thursday Showdown Bets & DFS By David S McIvor @SemiproDFS I’m Sweating. Why? It’s not gambling related… Hell, not even excitement related (though this is a good game). It’s an accumulation of alcoholism and poor diet choices from a three-day bender at a softball tournament and currently at the tail end of a 17 hour work day. And fam, I’m getting too old for this shit. Luckily, I was able to drink away the animosity I had toward some results from a wild Week 1 in the NFL. And come into this week with a clear(ish) mindset. Overview Both teams coming into this game with a win from last week, one was more visibly dominant than the other. Both teams are also part of the nuttiest division in football, The AFC West, making this game very similar to the Chargers/Raiders desperate playoff-feel from last week. Mahomes is the best QB in the league, Chargers have one of the best deep defenses we have seen in a while. This could get very interesting. Bets L.A Chargers +175 @ Kansas City Chiefs -210 Kansas City Chiefs -4.0 Against The Spread O/U is 54.0 L.A Chargers are coming in without WR1 Keenan Allen, meaning there is very interesting options for the Chargers to make their offense click. Mahomes proved he can throw to whoever, whenever he wants… or is that what we just perceive from a Chiefs team that beat up on a pressured Kyler Murray with a very hurt Cardinals team? Maybe water finds level this week, and that’s why I’m taking L.A Chargers ATS, and the Over. I’m skipping the ML Showdown DFS Captain picks: Gold - A. Ekeler $10,200 (C $15,300) Silver - P. Mahomes $11,800 (C $17,700) Bronze - J. Smith-Shuster $8,000 (C $12,000) Ekeler will be the overall beneficiary of the Allen injury. I expect Herbert to look the Ekeler 1st in every situation and only take deep shots when necessary, dropping my explosive expectations for other wideouts. Mahomes… Duh, Probably the safest play on the roster. This son bitch even threw his TD’s to his RB… not a single rush TD last week… That’s DFS QB glory Smith-Shuster announces his arrival at Arrowhead stadium with first TD of the game. Just a hot take. Good Plays M. Williams - $9,000 (C $14,400) T. Kelce - $11,000 (C $16,500) C. Edwards-Helaire - $8,600 (C $12,900) Williams is THEE deep threat, and due to his propensity to kill lineups on DFS; I see surprisingly low ownership considering the situation. Kelce is by far Mahomes favorite option and it’s not even close, this is because of his overall reliability. 8 of 9 targets last week for 121 yards will be hard to recreate. But the volume will be there. Due to the added Defensive prowess the Chargers bring to the game. Slick plays in the red zone involving Edwards-Helaire ON THE GROUND could be called for. Value D. Carter - $4,600 (C $6,900) Charger DST - $3,200 (C $4,800) S. Moore - $1,800 (C $2,700) Carter tied the team for targets last week and was second with 64 yards total + TD. Chargers DST is a risky shot in the dark seeking for sloppy scrambled passes from Mahomes that don’t find the mark. The rookie Skyy Moore I have as a shot to land a few long shots down field when the awesome Charger CBs lock down Juju and Hardman Good Luck!

The Semi-Pro Show Milly Maker Breakdown

The Semi-Pro Show Milly Maker Breakdown
The Semi-Pro Show Milly Maker Breakdown By David S McIvor @SemiproDFS Drinking copious amounts of Alcohol on the final day of the weekend in my area is called “Sunday Funday”. And a fun day it shall be with 13 games on the Draftkings Milly Maker contest. As usually a single lineup dart thrower, I wouldn’t actually recommend even playing this tournament due to the 150 entries a single person is allowed; but I still buy lottery tickets so obviously odds mean jack shit to me. There is nothing better than waking up every Sunday knowing you have a chance at winning 1 million dollars American (1.31 Million Canadian where I am) and I seem to convince myself that that WILL HAPPEN ONE DAY. Well here’s to trying. Lets go Game by Game. Philadelphia (-200) @ Detroit (+170) - Phi -4 ATS - O/U 48.5 Philly is being hyped up so much this year and I think sharp bettors may come in on Detroit in this spot. The new dynamic duo of AJ Brown ($6,400) and DeVonta Smith ($5,500) might eat into each others FPTS, and that’s only basing on Jalen Hurts ($6,800) making his throws and not calling his own number inside the redzone. Which he will. But if there is a QB I don’t trust more than Hurts for throwing a ball it’s Detroit’s Jared Goff ($5,400). But coming off watching his former team win a Superbowl must give this guy al little push, right? I’m hoping him and Amon-Ra St. Brown ($6,100) continues their rapport from last season, which seen St. Brown Garner double digit targets in his last 6 games and averaged 26.18 FPTS. I’m going to go with Detroit on Moneyline, spread, and the Over and not because I’m “JuSt a CoWbOyS fAn” Pick = WR Amon-Ra St. Brown ($6,100) Baltimore (-330) @ New York Jets (+265) - Bal -7 ATS - O/U 44.5 Old Ass Joe Flacco ($4,800) gets the start for NY Jets and that’s NOT A GOOD THING. I want literally nothing to do with the Jets. Baltimore on the other hand with Lamar Jacksons ($7,300) contract negotiations in limbo still to start the season… Makes me think he’s going to play like an animal. He is going to miss Hollywood Brown here but I think taking shot at WR 2 Devin Duvernay ($3,800) and usual suspect TE Mark Andrews ($6,800) could both compliment his play… But Jackson naked is the way I would play this. Baltimore ML, ATS, and UNDER Picks = QB Lamar Jackson ($7,300) Baltimore DST ($4,000) New Orleans (-230) @ Atlanta (+190) - NOW -5.5 ATS - O/U 42.5 Atlanta is a mess. I think there are a lot of sport bettors and commentators that are trying to get cute promoting the Falcons in this opening week match up with the Saints, but I think that’s super dumb. Marcus Mariota ($5,200) has been coming off the bench since the 2019 campaign and always seems to be injured. This team is a heap of shit if it wasn’t for Kyle Pitts ($5,700) the lone bright spot on this team. Now New Orleans I’m not exactly sure what’s going on there, with new coaching staff and QB’s playing rock/paper/scissors to see who plays what quarter… I was also a mess last year and they still got a 9-8 record and slightly missed playoffs. The only lighting rod player I’m willing to spend on Alvin Kamara ($7,600) as a double threat extraordinaire. NWO on ML, ATS, UNDER Pick = RB Alvin Kamara ($7,600) New England (+150) @ Miami (-175) - Mia – 3.5 ATS - O/U 46.5 For me, this is an ewww game. I don’t see many FTPS coming anywhere from the game. If I HAD to choose. RB Raheem Mostert ($4,800) slows the game down for a panicky Tua Tagovailoa ($5,700). Mike Gesicki ($4,800) would be my alternate for Miami and then Devante Parker ($4,800) revenge game on the NE side. Fuck this game. UNDER only. Picks = RB Raheem Mostert ($4,800) TE Mike Gesicki ($4,800) Pittsburgh (+230) @ Cincinnati (-280) - Cin -6.5 ATS - O/U 44.5 Hot take. Trubisky gets some resemblance of OL protection for the first time in hi starting role and has a shoot out with Cincinnati. I feel Bengals still win this game, but it’s an OVER total and Pittsburgh ATS. RB Joe Mixon ($7,100) benefits from the spread of offense as Joe Burrow can dink and dunk in a pressure scramble and possible extra ground plays due to rain in the forecast. Same goes for RB Najee Harris ($6,400). Picks = RB Joe Mixon ($7,100) RB Najee Harris ($6,400) Indianapolis (-330) @ Houston (+265) - Ind -7 ATS - O/U 46 Love Indy in this spot, I’m spamming new QB Matty “Ice” Ryan ($5,500) and WR Michael Pittman Jr. ($5,500) but FADING RB Jonathan Taylor ($9,100). Reason being game script and price tag. if Indy gets up early there is no reason to pound Taylor. I would actually be more interested in RB Nyheim Hines ($5,100) if game gets out of hand. I want 0% of Houston. INDY ML, ATS, and Under Picks = QB Matt Ryan ($5,500) WR Michael Pittman Jr. ($5,500) Indianapolis DST ($3,900) Jacksonville (+120) @ Washington (-140) - Was -2.5 ATS - O/U 44 With the Jitters of former Rookie sensation Trevor Lawrence ($5,600) hopefully over and his plethora of new weapons; I see Jacksonville coming out with a win against an unproven on-field Commanders team. Jacksonville has 3 different “Jones” in their receiving core but I’m only looking at 1 this week and that’s Marvin Jones Jr ($4,100). Pairing with new TE Evan Engram ($3,500) I think this offence could smash week 1. I don’t know where the Commanders will go with new QB Carson Wentz ($5,500) but I’m willing to wait at least a week to find out. JKV ML, AST, and OVER Picks = QB Trevor Lawrence ($5,600) WR Marvin Jones Jr ($4,100) TE Evan Engram ($3,500) San Francisco (-310) @ Chicago (+255) - SF -7 ATS - O/U 40.5 Hate both teams. But one is just so glaringly bad. The only option I’m willing to work with Week 1 is San Fran DST ($4,100) which is the most expensive DST but man… This could be a shit show for the Bears. Might end up with Trey Lance ($6,000) Naked in the game script of him calling his own number in the red zone. Terrible DFS game though. SF ML, ATS, and ….Under. Picks = San Francisco DST ($4,100) Cleveland (+105) @ Carolina (-125) - Car -1.5 ATS - O/U 42 Browns ground game runs a lot here making Nick Chubb ($6,500) super viable. I do think Baker Mayfield ($5,300) gets revenge here and hopefully the Brown D line doesn’t bury him here, because they are going to try. My favorite pick here is going to be Christian McCaffrey ($8,500) as an out for Mayfield to dump. Carolina ML, ATS, and OVER. Pick = RB Christian McCaffrey ($8,500) Green Bay (-125) @ Minnesota (+105) - GB -1.5 ATS - O/U 47 Green Bay has a lot of new down field options both Aged and Inexperienced. The only reliable option is RB the Duo. My pick would be Aaron Jones ($6,700) due to the receiving factor he possesses. But lets not forget in the past how rough the Packers can come out of the gate to start seasons. Making the Vikings one of my favorite picks this week. QB Kirk Cousins ($6,100) will spread but WR Adam Thielen ($5,400) at such a juicy price to not stack. I’m even dabbling in Vikings DST ($2,200) here as salary play while I wait for GB to show me something without Adams. Minnesota ML, ATS, UNDER. Picks = RB Aaron Jones ($6,700 QB Kirk Cousins ($6,100) WR Adam Thielen ($5,400) Minnesota DST ($2,200) New York Giants (+205) @ Tennessee (-245) - Ten -5.5 - O/U 43.5 Both teams feel like a battle of the RB’s Saquon Barkley ($6,100) and Derrick Henry ($8,600). I would throw a flyer at Kadarius Toney ($4,100) but man, I do not trust the QB situation in NYG. Albeit there is always that 1 game at least in week 1 that is a major upset… And this could be it. Calling my shot and going NYG ML, ATS, UNDER. Picks = RB Saquon Barkley ($6,100) Las Vegas (+145) @ L.A Chargers (-170) - LAC -3.5 - O/U 52 Ooooooo. Great game. Probably the best game of week 1. I like Chargers win here, staying away from the ATS and the O/U. RB Austin Ekeler ($8,200) and WR Keenan Allen ($7,000) QB Justin Herbert ($7,600) pop to me in this spot… but so fucking expensive. Las Vegas on paper is built great. And I want to wait a week to see the Derek Carr ($5,900) distribution to Darren Waller ($5,400), Davante Adams ($8,100), Justin Jacobs ($6,300) and Hunter Renfrow ($5,800). Great game though… Great fucking game. Picks = QB Justin Herbert ($7,600) RB Austin Ekeler ($8,200) WR Keenan Allen ($7,000) Kansas City (-260) @ Arizona (+215) - KC -6 - O/U 53 Patrick Mahomes ($7,700) is the best, don’t get it twisted. Don’t complicate this game. We want to buff the Cardinals but I’m just not seeing it right now. It’s a big pressure spot for Kyler Murray ($7,200), meaning the only player I have reservations in is RB James Connor ($7,000). Pair Mahomes with Mecole Hardman ($4,600) who takes the Tyreek Hill role. KC ML, AST and UNDER. Picks = QB Patrick Mahomes ($7,700) WR Mecole Hardman ($4,600) I'm going to be some sort of liquored due to the last Softball tournament of the year, hitting dingers, so hopefully I can kill two birds with one stone and win two tournaments in one day... *crossing fingers*. Good Luck!

The Semi-Pro Show Thursday Showdown Bets & DFS

The Semi-Pro Show Thursday Showdown Bets & DFS
The Semi-Pro Show Thursday Showdown Bets & DFS By David S McIvor @SemiproDFS Kickoff is almost here. The season opens with what I have predicted the Superbowl match up will be, so obviously this campaign is starting the right way… But very difficult to predict right out of the gate. Let’s dive in. Overview Bills come into this game with a devastating OT loss to the Chiefs in the Playoffs last year, a loss that has actually changed the Playoff OT rules. That gut punch of a defeat is going to propel this team to be even better than last year… And what better litmus test then to face the reigning Superbowl champions in Week 1. On Thursday night, the L.A Rams will be at home and get to lift the championship banner to the rafters of the brand new SoFi Stadium. A special moment for this team and their fans to experience while realizing it is all possible to repeat as champions this year. Bills are down some defensive pieces and the Rams come in “healthy” but are noted for some nagging injuries to starting QB Stafford. Bets Buffalo -135 @ L.A Rams +115 Buffalo by 2.5 against the spread O/U is 52.5 I feel the hunger that possesses Buffalo is more apparent than L.A who is coming off a Superbowl Win. L.A will have stars in their eyes on and off the field here. Though I’m not overly confident due to the depth of both teams. I'm going Bills moneyline, and spread; and take the OVER on point total. Showdown DFS Captain picks: Gold - Allen $12,000 (C $18,000) Silver - Akers $8,000 (C $12,000) Bronze - Higbee $5,600 (C $8,400) Allen I predict will be the highest FPTS getter in this game, only because of his propensity to launch large throws down field and call his own number in the red zone for touchdowns. Akers is a call I made to possibly save more salary for a depth lineup. While a bit risky due to past injuries, It is possible that game script sees Akers pound in 3 TD’s from inside the 5 yard mark Higbee is a serious flyer that I’m only really counting in if WR3 Van Jefferson is out for this game. If that’s the case I see Higbee getting 6+ targets; 2 of them written up in the End Zone. Good Plays Kupp - $12,400 (C 18,600) Stafford - $10,800 (C 16,200) Davis - $7,200 (C 10,800) Knox - $6,800 (C10,200) Kupp was probably best DFS player all last year, even with the video on him; teams can’t seem to figure out his elusive playstyle. I will try and fit him in but I might try and diversify just because of his price tag. Stafford should be used with Kupp, he does have a new weapon with Allen Robinson but I see him being worked in later in the season. That elbow injury bugs me though…. Davis is too much of a freak deep threat, and if Buffalo falls behind in this game late, Davis will be targeted more. Knox… y’all are going to hate me for this, but narrative wise with the death of his younger brother (22) Aug 18th. These spots pop, I think there is no way he doesn’t get a TD in this game. Value Bills DST - $4,200 (C $6,300) Gay - $3,800 (C $5,700) Skowronek - $1,800 (C $2,700) Bills Defense even without T. White, can cause a “possible” Stafford injury game to turn sour. Gay the Kicker if the Rams cannot seem to penetrate the redzone. Skowronek ONLY IF VAN JEFFERSON DOES NOT PLAY. Good Luck!

The Semi Pro Show 22-23 NFL Season Preview & Predictions
09/05/2022
The Semi Pro Show 22-23 NFL Season Preview & Predictions
The Semi Pro Show 22-23 NFL Season Preview & Predictions By David S McIvor @SemiProDFS … Aw shit, here we go again. My favorite time of year to throw money away, on the hope of making BANK at least 1 week of the season. Though I have yet to make BANK, I feel like this year is increasingly possible after winning a couple small Piggy BANKS last year. There really is nothing better than Monday night waiting on the final game to complete a full week parlay on a ticket I filled out while hung over at a 7-11 before work. Or finishing up a Sunday with a couple players left on your DFS team to play while already cashing. From DFS, outright bets, Futures… It really doesn’t get much better than NFL Football for a filthy casual like me. Don’t really know what I’ve invested the past 8 years, nor do I want to know the exact number; but God fucking forbid my Wife ever finds out. Overview With a tumultuous off season of trades, signings, and preseason of injuries. The 22-23 campaign, surprisingly… Doesn’t look much different from last year as it pertains to potential divisional finishing placements. The usual suspects should be clinching divisions and the basement dwellers will be crowding the bottom, upsetting their fans. But of course, what would NFL be without upset fans (coming from a Dallas Cowboys supporter)? Lets get started in the NFC. NFC North Predictions. Minnesota Green Bay Detroit Chicago Minnesota Biggest change this year is new head coach Kevin O’Connell, who was Offensive Coordinator for the Super Bowl Champion Rams last year, and former QB coach for Cousins in his last year with Washington. I’ve never been a Kirk Cousins hater but can accept he has never really captured his potential his entire career. I find with the offense that surrounds him (Cook, Jefferson, Thielen, Smith) this could be the year we see what he’s capable of. Green Bay The Devante Adams trade is a fucking bummer for this team. I see Rodgers having a hard time corralling a potent receiving core with both age and inexperience. Luckily for them, GB is built to keep points off the board. If ayahuasca enlightened, non-jabbed, 38-year-old Rodgers can keep the noise from cunt reporters out of his head and focuses on his team, he can get a shot to prove that he can get over the Playoff Hump Detroit Oof, Jared Goff. Watching last year’s Rams team win a Superbowl must have been tough. But with a couple of draft signings, this team should be better than last year (which is not fucking hard to do). New rookie Hutchinson should be the Flex Seal on the bottom of this leaky defensive boat, and if Goff worked on his accuracy this off season; St. Brown, Williams, Chark, Hockenson will cause problems… Unfortunately, I do NOT have faith Goff can get better. Chicago Absolutely abysmal offensive line to help Justin Field flourish. Best receiver on this team will be Mooney but he won’t get the ball enough to do anything with it. TE Kmet will prosper from this shit-show of a team… Poor Bears fans. NFC East Predictions Philadelphia Dallas Washington N.Y Giants Philadelphia Fuck. An improved defense from a year ago and the acquisition of A.J Brown from Tennessee, making him and D. Smith arguably the best WR tandem in the league. It now falls on the shoulders of Jalen Hurts to take the next step and reduce his INT and Fumble numbers. Personally, I think he stumbles this year. But even if he does, the capable Gardner Minshew waits in the wings. The tool are here, they just need to execute. Dallas NOT A GOOD OFFSEASON FOR MY BOYS. The loss in talent from both offensive and defensive sides are a goddamn issue. The only supplemental in this case is for Dak Prescott to play like he’s worth every dime of the 40 mil per year he makes. I’m hoping the “Black Kirk Cousins” remark from departing Amari Cooper lights an unextinguishable fire under his ass. With still the best RB duo and WR’s Gallup and Lamb, there is plenty of options to outscore teams… But dude, It’s going to have to be a lot of points because Dallas looks like a sieve defensively. DFS tip: take Slot or WR2’s against Dallas this year. Washington Wentz, mmmkay sure. This is not the Indy system anymore and there is no J. Taylor to bail you out of a lot of situations. Gibson is a fine RB but the real threat here is WR stud Terry McLaurin and TE Logan Thomas (If he can stay healthy). I feel they lose a lot of tight games this year. N.Y Giants I really cant make my mind up about Daniel Jones, at times it looks like he’s got that dog in him… and the next play you’re wondering “who let the fucking dog’s out?” This season the dog doesn’t come home, and we see Tyrod Taylor take reigns and show us what Golladay and Toney are made of. *Spoiler alert* They still suck though. NFC South Predictions New Orleans Carolina Tampa Bay Atlanta Saints How this team was able to win almost double-digit games last year still blows my mind. And this team is only better with the offseason signings they got both Defensively and Offensively. Michael Thomas returning and Jarvis Landry Joining the fold gives them all the weapons they need. QB worries me… but it did last year, and they pulled through it, so what the fuck do I know. Carolina You probably stopped reading after this prediction, and I honestly don’t blame you but hear me out. Baker Mayfield is Good. I wish he’d stop doing commercials and focus more on his skills; but he is good. He was forged in one of the worst systems in the NFL, now he gets a chance to flourish with the likes of the best double threat player in the league Christian McCaffrey, reunite with WR3 Higgins, deep threat Anderson, and nuclear talent D.J Moore. Time for Mayfield to prove he’s more than capable. Tampa Bay Brady gets hurt this year. Osteoporosis is no joke. Which is unfortunate because this WR core is un-fucking-believable, like someone dicked around with a Madden roster. Regardless, I’m confident even if Brady doesn’t get hurt, this is the talent falloff year… And if I’m going to be honest the writing is on the wall after retiring, re-instating, then ghosting preseason for a critical amount of time… The regular sports media keeps fluffing him because he’s the GOAT, sure boys; I tend to call it like I see it. He’s the active QB of a team that is gunning for a deep run. Long story short - he’s unplugged, should have stayed retired… And this year will show it. Atlanta NFL fucked Ridley and it’s sad. Atlanta will be worst team in the league this year. O/U is 4.5 games this year take the under. Poor Kyle Pitts. NFC West Predictions LA Rams Arizona San Francisco Seattle LA Rams A vindicated Matthew Stafford comes into this year a tad banged up but with a new tool in Allen Robinson on top of Kupp, Van Jefferson, Higbee, and hopefully a full year of Akers. Whatever the secret sauce was last year, I don’t expect it to change. Arizona Kyler Murray gets an out with Hollywood Brown coming in to replace Hopkins while on suspension. The big question is how Murray performs. I have my reservations about it but will most likely be a litmus test type season with a 46 mil a year tag hanging over his head. So a lot of on and off field pressure for Kyler. San Francisco The Jimmy G/Trey Lance shit is something this team doesn’t need while they continue to make their run under Shanahan. Also losing a couple pieces of defense doesn’t bolster their overall grade when committing to an unproven Trey Lance. An absolute committee RB group, very thin WR core with a scramble/run QB could be a mess; and a lot of pro writers don’t realize… it’s going to be a mess. Seattle But not as messy as this. Pete Carroll on his last years here trying to rebuild, is harder than watching the immediate aftermath of Superbowl 49. The QB situation is an absolute shit sandwich. They have a stud TE in Fant, but go ahead and give Dissly 8 mil a year… WTF is going on here? Excellent receiving core, unfortunately they need someone to pass them the ball; and that’s not going to happen as often as they would like. NFC Playoff Bracket LA Rams New Orleans Philadelphia Minnesota Arizona Green Bay Dallas Dallas Beats New Orleans Green Bay Beats Philadelphia Minnesota Beats Arizona L.A Rams Beat Dallas Minnesota Beats Green Bay NFC Championship Game L.A Rams Beat Minnesota Let’s move on to the absolute unit of a conference, The AFC AFC North Predictions Cincinnati Baltimore Pittsburgh Cleveland Cincinnati The Superbowl losers, had one goal going into the offseason. And that was to bolster their protection of all-star QB Joe Burrow. And they did just that. With their QB getting more time to pick targets down field (Chase, Higgins, Boyd), I have the Bengals easily finishing first and gliding to the playoffs. Baltimore Defensively I think the Raven have arguable the best Secondary in the league, throwing on these guys is not going to be easy. My issue with Baltimore is their offence run by Jackson. Losing Hollywood Brown is a MAJOR detriment to the down field attack and could prove costly in close games. Good thing he’s QB and RB1. Pittsburgh Another messy QB situation. Everything else looks decent on the defensive side but I have a hard time seeing how a Trubisky led offence is going to get this team in a playoff spot. Maybe Pickett will be ready sooner than later ala Justin Herbert. Cleveland Jesus Christ, what is wrong with this front office? Watson will be gone till week 13 and Brisset led Browns will be so far in the basement at that point that it won’t matter. Moving on. AFC East Predictions Buffalo Miami New England NY Jets Buffalo Excited to see how this team rebounds from that exciting exit last year in the playoffs against the Chiefs. I personally think it sparks an unrelenting rage and we see Buffalo run roughshod this year. The offence is maybe not AS strong as the previous two years, but I expect Josh Allen to take full form here and negate any regression. Look forward to seeing this team play. Miami Don’t like this pick as I’m not an overall Tua Believer. But Gesicki and Tyreek can make bad QBs look good. With a plethora of RBs to gameplan for, and a solid secondary: Tua needs to evolve 1 step and playoffs could be in reach. New England Mac Jones could be an above average QB, but unfortunately with a low/mediocre offensive group, I don’t see how patriot can flourish to the point of playoffs. Unless Bill Belichick has some weird individual gameplans (without former assistant McDaniels), which I wouldn’t be surprised about. I expect this team to be very quiet and, honestly boring all year. N.Y Jets Cougar Bait Zach Wilson can still be argued as an incomplete QB, but with a team as perennially bad as the Jets have been… It’s the best they’ve got. Their best is still the worst in this division. AFC South Predictions Indianapolis Tennessee Jacksonville Houston Indianapolis Matt Ryan coming over from a team he dragged to the Superbowl should be seen as nothing but positive for Indy fans. Ryan was in an ATL system that never bolstered their Offensive Line and got away with Matty Ice being stellar his whole career. Now with toys like Jonathan Taylor, Pittman Jr, and rookie Alec Pierce; this team should walk straight through to playoffs in a weak/troubled division. Tennessee We have not seen game breaking ability that Derrick Henry possesses since Beastmode in Seattle. But this team has lost down field talent and offensive line talent, making it hard to keep up with Indy in this division. If Henry gets hurt, this team could be close to the basement. Jacksonville Another front office I feel doesn’t know what they’re doing, BUT Lawrence should be due for a resurgence after a tumultuous rookie season. WR Christian Kirk signing 18 mil a year makes me shake my head but as a stout DFS player, I know he has the ceiling performance to earn it. Plus underdogs like Zay Jones, Marvin Jones Jr., and TE Evan Engram… I would not be surprised the Jags put up ridiculous offensive numbers and push for bottom rung playoff spot. Houston …Your problems continue, I don’t see an avenue for this team to be close to making playoffs. It could also turn into a QB battle between Kyle Allen and Davis Mills, if Mills cannot reach the necks level(see what I did there*wink*) AFC West Predictions Oh boy… Best Division I have ever seen, and would not be surprised to see any of these teams in 1st. Kansas City A Chargers Denver Las Vegas Kansas Lost Tyreek but gained Juju… Honestly, we can talk all we want about the gains and losses: but the best QB in the league plays for this team. He will find a way, but if he gets hurt this team is super fucked. L.A Chargers I think there is no other team that bolstered better defensively than the Chargers this off season. Couple that with the obvious progression and maturity of Herbert, who shined last year offensively… And you got one of my picks for a deep playoff run. Denver Yes, Wilson is good. But new team after 10 years with a system can really change things around. And I just see Denver stumbling out of the gate. I see Sutton being first team all fantasy this year also. But there is something here that’s not popping off to me. Las Vegas Obviously, the pickup of Devante Adams makes this team more potent than they were last year and I love this team for what they have done. But someone must be bottom of the division and Raiders seem to be the short straw for me. Any of these teams could be top or bottom, its an absolute wild division. AFC Playoff Bracket Buffalo Kansas City Cincinatti Indianapoilis A Chargers Denver Baltimore Kansas City Beats Baltimore Cincinnati Beats Denver L.A Chargers Beats Indianapolis Buffalo Beats L.A Chargers Kansas City Beats Cincinnati AFC Championship Game Buffalo Beats Kansas City Superbowl 57 Prediction Buffalo Bills Beat L.A Rams Super jacked to have NFL back to fill the ever-growing void of post-pandemic sports depression. That shit was real to me and affected a lot of how I viewed sports, and basically killed my podcast. NFL (albeit, not perfect) was the only organization to keep it as pre-Covid as possible in the aspect of casual viewers and DFS gambling fans. I appreciate it, and cant wait to spew more content for the rest of this season Captain Showdowns for Thursday and Mondays, and NFL Sunday Milly Maker articles. Good Luck this year, let’s get those fat wallets.

SEMI-PRO DFS for NHL March 15th 2021
03/15/2021
SEMI-PRO DFS for NHL March 15th 2021
Semi Pro DFS NHL Breakdown Mar 15th 2021 By David S McIvor @SemiproDFS Difficult is the best way to describe it… That is the word I would use to chronicle my last 3 weeks of NHL involvement. Disheartened and discouraged would be other ways to relate to my slump. I have previously done the “walk away” mid season, and it’s always seems to right this ship. But I am a tad skeptical this time around as this is a very unusual season to say the least, part of me just wants to move right along to MLB… But I ain’t no quitter. and I have a weeks worth of DFS budget saved to get back on the right track here. Lets jump back into this landscape of despair, shall we? Predators (+255) @ Lightning (-310) Maybe the only thing more disappointing than my season in NHL is the Predators Season, only 3 points removed from basement dwelling in the central. Goaltending would be the foremost issue but this team is not scoring either, despite being 5th in the league for shot attempts per game. I wouldn’t be surprised if this team blows up before deadline and we see Forsberg go to a contender. Lighting get the Dub here and I’m looking at the Gourde/Stamkos/Killorn 2nd line Capitals (-225) @ Sabres (+185) Call me crazy but I like Buffalo here, obviously the culture of the Sabres team has been toxic (previously and currently) but I think the star power they have can snap a 4 game winning streak for the caps. All we need is a lighting in a bottle goaltending performance by Hutton and for 2nd line Reinhart and Olofsson to push this team past a well-structured Caps team. Flyers (-125) @ Rangers (+105) Two teams that I liked preseason and two that are part of my ever long 20-21 disappointment run. I WILL NOT BACK OFF ZIBANEJAD. Leading the team with 74 total shots and only 3 goals… The time is coming for a big spot game, and with the current play of Philly; It could be tonight. I might take a stab at the Over @ 6 goals -120 Blackhawks (+150) @ Panthers (-170) Chicago continues to surpass expectation, with the staying power of Patty Kane and the emergence of Alex DeBrincat, All seems well in the Windy city. Until they face the second overall scoring team in the NHL. I see Chicago getting absolutely PEPPERED here and unless Lankinen is some sort of miracle story, Florida wins handily. Bruins (-115) @ Penguins (-105) The battle of Black and Yellow. Boston line 1 will Club the Penguins here. Done. Canucks (-170) @ Senators (+150) Two bad defensive and goaltending teams. Only difference is Brady Tkachuk has almost DOUBLE the shot attempts than Van City’s leading shooter Captain Horvat. I’ll lean with stats here and say Ottawa wins wit a Brady game winner. Canadiens (-129) @ Jets (EVEN) Tough game personally for me to decide. Monteral Even Strength is one of the better teams in the league, and overall the better goaltending team; that will give me the edge on leaning Canadiens win. But with the firepower of Ehlers and Connor and the vision of Scheifele, it makes this a tough game to bet on. Pass for me. Oilers (+105) @ Flames (-125) McDavid and Draisaitl recreate the end rape scene in Pulp Fiction, but with no Bruce Willis to save Ving Rhames’s (Calgary’s) butt hole. Hate to say it but Edmonton smashes here. Sharks (+205) @ Golden Knights (-245) Take Vegas. DFS Stacks: BOS 1, EDM PP1, OTT 1, FLA 2, NYR 1 DFS Value: C: A. Wennberg - $3,500 C: P. Dubois - $3,900 C: N. Patrick - $2,500 W: A. Mangiapane - $3,600 W: A. Lafreniere - $3,000 W: N. Acciari - $2,900 W: M. Appleton - $2,700 D: C.
