SKOS Number 203 Three in a row!!! That’s a three-peat for both Chill N Fill and Pauline. We discuss our awesome new logo (thanks Keith), we chat more with Pauline, we discuss the responsibilities of film makers concerning their content, and we have a MovieCast.

SKOS Number 202 Our thanks again to Chill N Fill as we podcast from there this week. Also back is Pauline. We enjoy all the libations that Chill N Fill has to offer while we talk pizza crusts; to eat, or not to eat. Which brings us to a discussion on food in general, and travel. We also have a General Knowledge Quiz. Oh, and never take the envelope.

SKOS Number 201 We are podcasting this week from Chill N Fill, a great place to grab a beer or cider and fill up a growler. We are lucky enough to talk to Pauline. She’s not only an employee there but also has her own business, Imprint Dog Training. We talk to her about her time in the UK and we have a Movie Quotes Quiz all while enjoying some fine beers.

SKOS Number 200 Our 200th episode! Our 5-year anniversary! Who’d have thunk it. We gather in Keith’s backyard to talk about where we are and how we got to this auspicious milestone. We also have major news: We have a website! somekindofshow.com. We now have a place for you to learn more about us, buy merch, and join our Patreon if you’d like to help support the show. Thank you all for listening and being such a big part of our lives. Here’s to many more years.

SKOS Number 199 Some Kind Of Show: A Primer With our 200th episode and 5 years of podcasting rapidly approaching, Siegs thought it would be a good idea to run through the history of the show. We’re nearing a great jumping on point for new listeners and this is a great way to catch up. It’s been quite a wild ride and we all look forward to the future and what it holds.

SKOS Number 198 We start off this Secondary Crossover Special with a beer. Brooks and John, from The Basement Buddies Podcast, return to talk with us. We have a special quiz just for the occasion. We discuss The Mandela Effect, and we wheedle our way into all manner of conversation before engaging in a second quiz!

SKOS Number 197 It’s a very special episode as we have a crossover with our friends, The Basement Buddies Podcast. Brooks and John join us as we join them. We talk beards, motorcycles, and traveling to Canada. We try and find out What’s Wrong With Brooks and answer one of 49 Great Questions: What would aliens think is really weird about our species? Brooks has a hot tub...ish, and who the hell eats in bed?!?! Check out The Basement Buddies Podcast on Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. But not this episode as we are both posting the same one to introduce our listeners to each other.

SKOS Number 194 We try a beer from our friends at The Brew Happy Show Podcast. Bobby talks about getting his life together, Keith talks dream jobs, and Siegs finds the world’s worst board game. Oh, and our Bobfest plans fizzled out like a mandatory face mask policy in America.

SKOS Number 191 Fire pit episodes: Number 3 We try a beer, we talk camping, camping, and more camping; and is there a week long trip in our futures? Enjoy our chat, we know we did. It’s been 3 years since Spaulding was taken from us. I recommend everyone go back and listen to episode 50, we talk all about the breadth and scope of our relationships, and how much we mean to each other. In lieu of that, maybe just take some time to remember. Remember his laugh, remember his face, remember the big things and the little things. He’s gone, but not forgotten. I,for one, would like to walk around for a bit with a smile on my face replaying some of my favorite moments we shared. Like, whenever we would listen to Flogging Molly’s song ‘Black Friday Rule’ there is a line where they shout, “For, I am the king and shall long may I reign!” but regardless of how many times we would shout along, Spaulding would almost always mess up the lyrics. I can’t hear that song without seeing him launch into it with gusto, only to mix up the words and mumble “dammit” with a grin before jumping back into the sing-along. Tell someone that didn’t know him all about him. Tell a friend that did know him one of your treasured memories that you love to replay in your mind and heart.

SKOS Number 190 Fire pit episodes: Number 2 Your three favorite podcasters are back to sit around Keith’s fire pit to chat away the day. We talk about guitar picks, the show, booze, bathrooms, and Las Vegas. We cover it all. If you have any ideas for a new intro/outro, send us your thoughts at , or hit us up on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

SKOS Number 188 We are podcasting from yet another secret hideout. We try a beer while we talk about our Zoom issues, we give much praise to those who are in the medical profession and risking so much to keep morons like us safe and alive, and we finish off with a medical quiz.

SKOS Number 187 From an undisclosed location we practice social distancing while managing to look upon one another in person. We fail to stop talking about Covid 19, we fail to get a guest on the phone, and we fail to enjoy the candy canes Bobby brought. It’s good to be back.

SKOS Number 186 More goodness from, “The Old Times”. Dean “The Hockman” Hockley joins us to try a beer which prompts Keith to talk about booze. Bobby disappears for a bit, and Siegs bitches about Old White Men. We all blather on about inappropriate touching for the remainder of the show.

SKOS Number 184 This episode was recorded prior to the quarantine. Ah, the days before Zoom, we remember them so fondly. Dean “The Hockman” Hockley joins us to discuss this whole ‘COVID-19’ thing that everyone is talking about. Bobby bails, bidets are mentioned, T.P. runs low, and a General Knowledge Quiz is had.

SKOS Number 183 This week the show picks up a strange signal from somewhere in the Southwest. It turns out to be Ira in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The guys chat with Ira about how things are going over his way. They have fun, they have a discussion, and they have only thirty or forty technical issues.

SKOS Number 182 In our continuing quest to report on all the goings on of what is quickly becoming the new normal, we reach out to Nashville, Tennessee to chat with Kristen Merlin and Keith’s sister Rachel. We find out the situation out there and get their take on this strange new world.

SKOS Number 181 With the current situation of Shelter In Place and Quarantine, we’re having to resort to conference calls to bring you the mediocre irratainment that you’re used to. The audio quality of this, along with subsequent episodes, will be less than stellar. With that being said, we have Frownz from Park and Spark back on the show! He joins us to discuss what our plans are for this whole thing going on, and what we think will happen in the future. Enjoy, and stay safe and healthy.

SKOS Number 178 We have John on the show this week. He’s the better half of The Basement Buddies Podcast that he does with Brooks. You may have heard Brooks on the show before, but we don’t blame you for not remembering. We find out about his job, that he’s a former band geek, and why he’s so much cooler than Brooks. We have a My Quiz: Celebrity Edition, and engage in all the usual audio goodness we’re known for.
