Theatre Beyond Broadway is a platform created to promote and support independent artists working beyond the bright lights of Broadway. The independent artist creates in the realms of Off-Off Broadway, local theatre, community theatre, the festival circuit and even the one night show.

Internationally produced and recognized playwright Elana Gartner resides in Brooklyn, NY. Her work has been produced in-person and virtually. She was a recent semi-finalist for the 2021 Eugene O'Neill Conference and will be attending the Kennedy Center Playwriting Initiative later this year. During the pandemic, she founded a completely virtual socially responsible theatre, Four Walls Theater, which produced four virtual readings.
