When I first learned about goal setting, I wrote them down. I even thought if I wrote down all the steps it would take to accomplish the goal in reverse, I would have a fool proof plan. It was not until I abandoned this practice that the truth was revealed to me. When I was in my thirties, each year on my birthday I would set five or six goals. I loved working on my Mac computer with the list of goals. Using creative fonts and colors to liven up the page that would hold all my hopes for this year’s list.
