Welcome back to our Art NFT Insights series, this time sitting down with Minami Kobayashi, one of the Founders of Totemo, the first NFT marketplace focussing exclusively on street art. Minami comes from the traditional art world, where she wore many hats working with young Japanese contemporary artists, curating their work and introducing them to new international markets. Today she is the Head of Sales and Marketing at Totemo, where she's quickly discovering the major similarities and differences between the trad art and NFT space. On this episode, we tried to focus on the similarities. But honestly, this comparison always brings up a yes... But... Basically, wherever there are similarities, there are also differences. So we go back and forth a lot, interrogating the many ways in which it's the same but different. Within this, we discuss the key stakeholders in the NFT art world, the collector personas and why people actually buy.
