AWARENESS Impaired self-awareness following a traumatic brain injury (TBI) can reduce the effectiveness of rehabilitation, resulting in poorer outcomes. However, little is understood about how the multi-dimensional aspects of self-awareness may differentially change with recovery and impact outcome. Thus, with the help from a research group at UBC we were able to conduct and better understand the Self Awareness test following brain injury. In today's podcast "Awareness" we measure a brain injury survivor's level of awareness dealing with several physical and cognitive changes following brain injury using the actual test. Enjoy and thanks for your support Greg and the Podcast Team
