#54 Circuit Judge appointed by Illinois Supreme Court: Why Representation Matters in the Courtroom
Judge Bianca Camargo is one of five women, and the first Latina, appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to serve as a Circuit Judge in Kane County. In this episode, Andrea sits down with Bianca to talk about her experience growing up on the East side of Aurora, Illinois, the trickle-down effect of opportunity, people who shaped her career, being a former prosecutor for the Kane County State’s Attorney’s office and the Latino experience in her courtrooms.
