The Evolution of ROXFIT: HYROX Pacing, Community Data, and the Ultra Launch – Joey & Ben
This week, ROXFIT co-founders Joey and Ben return to the podcast to break down how the platform has evolved over the past 12 months and share what is next for everyone’s favourite HYROX-related app. We consider how their lives have changed, moving from a small team based in Yorkshire to opening an office in London with over a dozen staff. We look into how the past 12 months have led them to develop ROXFIT Ultra, the premium version of the app which is launching soon. We then deep dive into some of the elements of the new Compete pillar, including the ability to complete a training session and send it to challenge your mates remotely, improvements to the pacing feature (which now includes Doubles integration), and the launch of weekly challenges. We also explore ROXFIT’s broader expansion, including how they interact with the community on social media and their growing race-day presence. Finally, we consider whether the app can help those aiming for PBs in other events, alongside Joey and Ben's plans for the future.
