In addition, good stewardship is not only about what we give in church; it's also about the generosity we show to people in need. Generosity is not an occasional activity but a lifestyle founded on the gospel: "Freely you have received; freely give," says the Lord in Matthew 10:8.: Jo is a powerful woman of God and a happy mother of seven children. In her own words, she's "Assigned on Purpose to Serve with Passion!!" And that's exactly what she's doing! Living the Highs and Lows of Bipolar Disorder with Ed Squire
When I was at my doctor's office for a regular appointment, my doctor noticed I was having a bipolar manic episode and called an ambulance to pick me up and take me to emergency at the hospital. In this episode I talk about how that happened and why it motivated me to talk openly about this mental health disorder. Bipolar disorder is a mental health condition characterized by extreme mood swings, ranging from manic or hypomanic episodes to depressive episodes. These shifts can significantly impact a person’s energy levels, ability to think clearly, and day-to-day functioning. Bipolar disorder is more common than many people realize, affecting roughly 2.8% of adults in the U.S. each year. Importantly, it’s not just moodiness or “having a bad day.” It’s a complex condition with biological, genetic, and environmental influences.
