Obedience Brings the Blessings
Dionne delivered a sermon titled "Obedience Brings the Blessings," focusing on the importance of obeying God as the ultimate expression of love, trust, and faith. She referenced biblical passages including John 14:15, 1 John 5:3, and Deuteronomy 30:15-20 to demonstrate how obedience leads to blessings while disobedience results in curses. Dionne used the examples of Adam and Eve's disobedience in the Garden of Eden and King Saul's failure to completely destroy the Amalekites to illustrate the consequences of disobedience. She emphasized that God tests people's hearts to determine their true allegiances and warned against religious hypocrisy, using Matthew 23 and Matthew 15 to show how external religious practices without internal obedience are meaningless to God. Dionne concluded by urging people to lift up Jesus Christ rather than political leaders, stating that God has given humanity the ministry of reconciliation rather than Christian nationalism, and that true obedience brings great reward and blessing. Trust in God

Trust in God
Dionne delivered a sermon on the topic of trust in God, using the American currency's inscription "In God We Trust" as a starting point to explore whether people truly trust in God rather than money, political figures, or themselves. She distinguished between faith (believing in God's existence) and trust (actively relying on God), using the example of a chair to illustrate how faith without action differs from true trust. Dionne examined God's proven track record through biblical examples including Adam and Eve, Abraham, the Jewish people's deliverance from Egypt, and the story of King Hezekiah from 2 Kings 18, who initially compromised by paying tribute to Assyria's King Sennacherib but later repented and trusted in God when facing invasion. The sermon concluded with biblical verses from Ephesians 3 and Psalm 146 emphasizing that true trust should be placed in God rather than human leaders or systems. Christ Redeemed Us From the Curse of the Law
At the Fall, God cursed the serpent and the ground, but He never cursed us. He disciplined us. However, during the dispensation of the law, Deuteronomy 28 tells us that if the people failed to obey the law, they would be cursed. The law could not save the people neither can the Law save us. That is why God sent His Son Jesus who fulfilled the Law to redeem us from the curse of the Law. “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.” Galatians 3:13-14 NIV.

The discussion covered biblical teachings about divine laws and statutes, including passages from Psalms, Isaiah, Acts, and other New Testament texts. The sermon addressed topics including repentance, being born again, the nature of God as a righteous judge, and warnings about deception in the world. Dionne also discussed current societal issues and referenced 2 Thessalonians 2 about the man of lawlessness, concluding with encouragement for listeners to stand firm in their faith and knowledge of God's Word.

Arm Yourself with the Truth of God's Word

Arm Yourself with the Truth of God's Word
From the very beginning in Genesis, God taught us that we would have to fight for truth. God’s truth is the only truth. There is not many truths, but only one. God told Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, or else they would die. However, the devil told Eve that God’s Word was not true and that she would not die. In fact if she believed him instead of God, she would become like God. We all know what happened and today we all face the same test. Are we going to believe the truth, God’s Word or the lies of the devil? Today truth has fallen in the streets, however, God still requires His people to believe the truth, act on the truth, stand up for the truth and fight for the truth. “Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.” John 14:6 AMPC. He began to sin greatly against God and began to worship foreign gods. Gods of wood and stone, gods of foreign nations. He hardened his heart towards God and refused to repent. From the very beginning when He created Adam and Eve, God communicated with His children; even after they sinned. God communicated with Abraham, Moses and His prophets throughout history and today He has spoken to us through His Son, Jesus Christ. “In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.” Hebrews 1:1-2 NIV God has preserved His Word for us, the terminal generation, because He loves us and He desires to show us the path to Him, the author of life. “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” Psalms 119:105 NIV.
