Ruth writes for several industry publications and is a recognized lumber and building material industry expert and a frequent speaker at regional, national and international industry events. Before founding Kellick & Associates, Ruth worked for Bill Lee and Builder Marts of America. Prior to that she did international business development for both the US and Japanese governments. Amy Hendel | Owner/Principal Amy Hendel grew up in Chicago, IL. She received her B.A. in business with a minor in marketing and finance from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN, graduating summa cum laude. Many of Amy’s elective courses during college and throughout life have been art classes. She studied at Altos de Chavon, School of Design, located in the Dominican Republic and affiliated with Parsons in New York, the New School for Design. She has also been an IT Consultant Project Manager for various industries and companies throughout the US but now enjoys her role solely as head of marketing and a designer with Hendel Homes, as well as raising their two children, Ava and Ashton. Amy remembers going to the Parade of Homes with her parents when she was younger and traveling, which inspired her love of interior design and architecture. Immersing herself in magazines, books, and classes has only added to her natural talent for artistic conception. Rick and Amy’s work has been featured in national publications throughout the country. MN based but nationwide, Morgan graduated from college in Long Beach, CA with a fashion merchandising and marketing degree, she has now taken that creativity and knowledge to use within their clients homes and website. Morgan oversees all content creation, manages the brand partnerships, is the writing guru, and overall creative director. Her company is a Highway Heavy Contractor based out of Forest Lake, MN, that specializes in Guardrail systems. InSite serves the entire state of Minnesota, is women-owned and operated, and is a DBE/TGB/WBE/SBE certified company. Kendra is an enthusiastic woman working hard to make her mark in the Construction Industry. Throughout her life she has strived to achieve many leadership positions where management, organization, and problem solving were key. She has strong set of communication skills, which enables her to interact and engage effectively with a variety of people. Her experiences have promoted self-confidence, and with an unwavering work ethic, she possesses everything it takes to be a successful business owner. Serving in leadership roles continues to be a passion for Kendra. She is self-starter, a quick learner, and excels in fast-paced environments, making it fun for her to take on new projects. She currently serves as the Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Association of Women Contractors, or AWC. Additionally, she is on the Special Events Committee and a Crew Lead for the Build Up Crews program recently launched by the AWC. Kendra is now also serving on the Board of Directors for the Associated General Contractors of Minnesota, or AGC, in a Highway Heavy Representative capacity. She has worked closely with the AGC for the last few years and has been a part of Leadership Blueprint Council, serving as the Vice Chair on that council for the second year in a row. Kendra is very happily married to her husband Korey, and they have two adorable children. In her downtime she enjoys playing card games, spending time with family, and outdoor activities like camping, fishing, boating, and playing sports. She is also a HUGE movie buff and tries her best to speak primarily in movie quotes…it is super entertaining… well, for Kendra, anyway! She also attended the University of Texas at Austin with an MA in Communication Studies. Meagan is the fourth generation in her family to work for McCoy’s. She has worked her way up in the business and was promoted to President and COO in 2019. She is a member of the Board of Directors of McCoy Corporation, a partner in McCoy Remme Ranches (a cow-calf operation with land holdings in far West Texas), as well as co-Chair of the Legislative Committee of the Lumbermen’s Association of Texas, and Board Member of the Greater San Marcos Partnership working on issues related to development, conservation, and affordable housing. She is a former Board member and passionate supporter of Mobile Loaves & Fishes, a social outreach ministry that empowers communities into a lifestyle of service with the homeless. She has also become an advocate and spokesperson for women in construction and has received national recognition for her advocacy! She is the president and primary owner of T. Scherber, a full-service Demolition, Excavating, and Roll-Off Company. Through her leadership they have grown exponentially in the commercial sector and were recently awarded their WBE/MBE/SBE certifications in order to do more work in the public and private sector. T. Scherber is also a finalist of the Finance & Commerce 2021 Top Women in Construction Awards. Missy is a member of the AWC, NAMC, and serves as Vice President of her local NAWIC chapter. Missy is also very active in giving back to her community through several local non-profits and her “Do Good Dumpster” Program.
