21: Honesty
https://www.podchaser.com/claim Honesty The key to honesty lies in the word integrity It is completeness to be honest ness “And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.” 1 Kings 7:21 KJV “And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.” 2 Chronicles 3:17 KJV “Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.” Ruth 4:1 KJV http://bible.com/1/rut.4.1.kjv Why is honesty such a struggle because there is a battle between good and evil “I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.” Romans 7:21 KJV We see dishonesty as a shortcut to success The cost of dishonesty It prevents us to being the person we want to be it is like cancer We live in a culture of deception and lies and no wonder we have problems in our homes and relationships Dishonesty is a viscous circle one dishonesty act leads to another it is a habit that is the worst of all Dishonesty turns us into phonies and manipulators we play the role to long and lose ourselves. Dishonesty eventually catches up with us We never get away with our dishonest act even though we think we do Dishonesty can't be hidden we eventually know someone is lying to us Dishonesty ruins relationships Dishonesty attacks our nervous system it has powerful psychological effects Dishonesty prevents us from fulfillment Six reasons to be honest 1 peace of mind 2 character and reputation 3 relationships honesty cements them together 4 wholeness reaching our potential as a human being 5 mental and physical health Being authentic Honesty is a choice!

Respect
07/22/2017
Respect
respect Good people build their lives on the foundation of respect. As we read the book of Judges we see that the Benjimites lost the respect for life. By taking the concubine and defiling her to the point of death. Her master the levite made it so gruesome be dividing her body and sending it to the 12 tribes. They came down to Judge the tribe of Benjamins. We should respect life itself. Because life is short. As we see Naomi's family death visited them quickly. God is the giver of life. He is the Creator we ar made in the image of God. We have a body soul and spirit. When we get saved we become quicken by his spirit. Christ served others and those that respect life serve others. We respect life of all living things As we see this Family goes through a famine food and water becomes of most importance. the mysteries of life well never understand until we are in heaven. 6. So we have to be people of honesty and integrity in all things. Four Pillars of respect Manners we will be known by the way we treat others. so we have to treat people with respect and as partners. treat people with integrity. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” Matthew 7:12 KJV Language A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” Luke 6:45 KJV “The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself.” Ecclesiastes 10:12 KJV “And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the Lord, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel. And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.” Ruth 4:14-15 KJV http://bible.com/1/rut.4.14-15.kjv Honoring the rules “Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down. And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down. And he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech's: And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it. Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance. And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it. Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel. Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe. And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi. Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day. And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The Lord make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Beth–lehem:” Ruth 4:1-11 KJV Obeying rules means we want to play fair Rules are not made to be broken and everyone one is not doing it The rules is there because man can become self centered and this keep us to be considerate of others. Ruth was a Moabite but now she is seen as pharez Most people are judgement because they are self centered Appreciating differences The rewards of respect We develop with active social skills and habits We make other people feel good We earn the respect of others We establish good relationships We are treated better by other people We improve our feelings of self-worth We build a solid reputation The golden rule treat others how you like to be treated is still the Golden Rule

Ruth Being Thankful Is A Habit "So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son. And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel. And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him. And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it. And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David." Ruth 4:13-17 https://www.bible.com/bible/1/RUT.4.13-17 The best habit you will ever have How many times a day do you complain? Can you go the next 24 hours without complaining? 18: Power Of Habits
Boaz Habits The power of habits "And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz." Ruth 2:1 A mighty man of valor A pillar A man of wealth. We are creatures of habits We first make our habits and than our habits make us. The original meaning of habit was garment. And just like our garments we wear our habits daily. Habits Attitudes n Appearance We are not born with them. We are slaves to our habits we must make more good of habits than bad. Our personality He made s habit to check on his fields Boaz "is set before us as a model of piety, generosity and chastity" Ruth 2:11-17 Ruth 2:1,4-7 Ive been watching a lot of basketball bad habit Forming good habits is the key success We don't succeed by doing a good thing one time By doing things right on a regular basis Habits are the key to all success But I always here about the superstar made to practice far past to what is expected Winning habits 5.Changing our habits Habits can be changed The only thing that matters is desire The old cliche is you cant teach an old dog new tricks but since we have a dog ive read and watch many dog shows and you can teach an old dog. The best way to get rid of old habits is to replace them with good habits Benjamin made a list of thirteen habits he wanted and a list he didn't want and replaced them on a daily basis 1. Temperance: Eat not to dullness and drink not to elevation. 2. Silence: Speak not but what may benefit others or yourself. Avoid trifling conversation. 3. Order: Let all your things have their places. Let each part of your business have its time. 4. Resolution: Resolve to perform what you ought. Perform without fail what you resolve. 5. Frugality: Make no expense but to do good to others or yourself: i.e. Waste nothing. 6. Industry: Lose no time. Be always employed in something useful. Cut off all unnecessary actions. 7. Sincerity: Use no hurtful deceit. Think innocently and justly; and, if you speak, speak accordingly. 8. Justice: Wrong none, by doing injuries or omitting the benefits that are your duty. 9. Moderation: Avoid extremes. Forebear resenting injuries so much as you think they deserve. 10. Cleanliness: Tolerate no uncleanness in body, clothes or habitation. 11. Chastity: Rarely use venery but for health or offspring; Never to dullness, weakness, or the injury of your own or another's peace or reputation. 12. Tranquility: Be not disturbed at trifles, or at accidents common or unavoidable. 13. Humility: Imitate Jesus and Socrates 7.Habits and character Good habits make a difference The guy with the same schedule and faithful at it every day he makes a differance. I believe God has one grea thing for you to do but you can miss it if you are not faithful Our habit reflect our character Integrity Compassion Concern for others Service Commitment Habits of the heart Good habits make a difference We are what we do repeatedly Excellence is not an act but an habit.

And a certain man of Beth–lehem–judah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons." Ruth 1:1 And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; 5And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; 12Turn again, my daughters, go your way; 14And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her. Naomi Attitude 20And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me. Ruth's Attitude 16And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Entreat…: or, Be not against me 17Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me. Think for yourself 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Think constructively Philippians 4:8 (KJV) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 13: Welcome to 2017
Created to need a help meet Two Are Better Than One It is good that man should not be alone Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. When God created Adam he gave him a task to name every living creature. God wanted man to be busy for him. If things were to be accomplish Adam had to focus on the task at hand. After naming all the creatures God saw the need for Adam for a help meet. No one should be alone. Eve was to help meet Adams needs Man has needs When a young man grows up. He works hard for the hope of ones approval. It is good for a wife to approve and praise her man! It will go along way for him. Respect: when a wife show no respect toward her husband. Of who he is and what he stands for than the man feels that he cannot trust his wife. A one flesh connection. Man needs to feel that his wife intimacy is connecting with him. This is where men and women are different. Women love the communication to connect and man. The need for that sexual connection is a must for the man. A man needs Charity. A man is taught not to cry don't be weak to keep it all together. But in reality we do have times of weakness and do fall apart. We cannot show these to others but a wife must be there for a shoulder to cry on and not be judge or looked down on. But a crutch to help him back up. A time to refrain man has to get alone to think to gather his thoughts this could be with his friends a hobby or just a time alone do suffercate him with jealousy behavior Touch him man wants to be touched kiseed pressed upon, Security marriage is a commitment and a man must know you are in for the long haul. Need for a help meet to help man accomplish his task for God. There came a point in Adams life that God saw his need for a help meet. So he gave him a women and ADAM CALLED HER eve. Genesis 2:20 but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. I will make him a help One of the stereo types for man is that he will not ask for help.
