All Up in a Woman's World the podcast where we dive deep into business, personal life stories, triumphs, and everything in between. The show for businesswomen, entrepreneurs, homemakers, moms and women from all walks of life. It's real. It’s to the point. It’s humorous, from the heart, and it’s All Up in a Woman's World. Hi, I'm your host, Shelley Costello joined by my guest cohost and special guest. Topics discussed: Womanhood, about marketing, mindset, money, media, ministry — all through the lens of women leading and building boldly. Pivots & Career Reinventions: Quitting corporate positions, changing industries after 40 or 50, starting side hustles, or shifting from solopreneurship to running a larger team. The Behind-the-Scenes Reality of Launching: The unglamorous truths of starting a business—funding struggles, navigating self-doubt, managing operations, and surviving the early years. Monetizing Passions & Unconventional Careers: Highlighting women who turned personal hobbies, artistic talents, or unique life experiences into profitable brands. Leadership, Authority, & Setting Boundaries: How women step into authentic leadership, ask for what they're worth, say "no" to toxic clients/employers, and command respect in male-dominated industries. Personal Life Stories & Chapters Deep-dive narrative episodes that highlight identity shifts, personal histories, and major life milestones. Reinventing Yourself at Different Life Chapters: Embracing new identities—whether navigating midlife, transitioning into empty-nesting, or embarking on late-career passions. Family, Relationships, & Support Systems: Balancing partner dynamics, caregiving for children or aging parents, navigating friendships as an adult, and building a supportive "tribe." Defining Moments & Unfiltered Herstory: Personal stories about life-changing decisions, leap-of-faith moments, relocation, or breaking away from traditional expectations. Legacy & Impact: Conversations around what women want to leave behind—not just financially, but emotionally and culturally within their communities. Triumphs & Overcoming Adversity Inspirational stories that explore resilience, overcoming hurdles, and celebrating major personal or professional wins. Rising From Setbacks: How guests survived business failures, financial hardship, divorce, loss, or health challenges, and came back stronger. Breaking Through Mindset Barriers: Overcoming imposter syndrome, toxic perfectionism, fear of visibility, and the internal critic. Celebrating Unapologetic Wins: Dedicated space to highlight personal records, award recognitions, major financial milestones, or personal healing milestones without shrinking back. Courageous Conversations: Speaking up against injustice, advocating for oneself in medical or professional settings, and finding an authentic voice after years of silence. "Everything in Between" Lifestyle, daily wellness, and the holistic human experience of being a woman today. Work-Life Integration vs. Balance: The honest truth about time management, preventing burnout, protecting energy, and letting go of the "do it all" myth. Mindset, Health, & Energy Management: Physical and mental health, managing stress, honoring natural energy cycles, and prioritizing self-care amidst busy routines. Creative Outlets & Personal Passions: Homesteading, gardening, art, travel, fitness, and hobbies that feed the soul entirely separate from generating revenue. Financial Empowerment & Independence: Money mindsets, wealth creation, retirement planning, and building personal financial security on a woman's own terms. Don't miss an episode. Once you listen, you'll be hooked.

Most of us are trying to develop into a more whole, and well rounded, human. If we are wise, we will gravitate towards difficult things and challenging conversations that force us to look more deeply at our preconceived rules, ways and judgements. Forcing ourselves into these uncomfortable things and situations are what I refer to as potential "weapons". When we learn and develop these skills, when we stretch our comfort zones, these new found skills become weapons to dig deeper, to fight more important self battles. It is a cyclical game, to battle, fail or succeed, and to battle again in a manner of self improvement and self enlightenment. For only when we can do our "self work" can we begin to make greater contributions to others around us and society in general. Through these "weapons" I have chosen to embrace, I hope to grow and in turn hope to carve more into life, more lessons, epiphanies, stories, failures, art and things that make me laugh, think and cry. I leave these conversations here to share with you, little pieces of my life and mind, conversations that serve a purpose for my own growth. These are topics I have found to be important, inspiring, changing, joyous and painful and I share them now with you. I believe that is what we should all do, share. A lesson taught when we were all small children, sharing, that thing that elevates us all. Share. Share your weapons of change.
