MY FIRST BAND PODCAST
Each Friday, My First Band features a long-form interview with a different notable musician about all of the projects that preceded what you know them for. We discuss their musical origins, and we trace a few of their embarrassing high school bands and other associated bands that happened before they broke out. This show digs deeper than any Wikipedia page or band bio would ever dare to go. And, sometimes, the guests will even share some of their old songs. You can expect to hear a lot of interesting, informative and hopefully entertaining anecdotes about all of the bands along the way. My First Band is sponsored by Boulevard Brewing. ARTIST SOLACE
Artist Solace is a place where we can meet to listen and learn about the journey of an Artist. My job here is to orchestrate discussions and interviews with artists I find particularly interesting. We will learn about what they find meaningful to pursue in their lives regarding their Art and struggles they experience doing so. While learning about about these artists journeys, we can find inspiration, support, comfort, and-most importantly-solace. I hope you are interested in coming and that you will ride along with me during my journey exploring this place.
BROBDINGNAGIAN BARDS PODCAST
Scottish and Irish folk songs combined with the Lord of the Rings music and a wee bit o’Celtic fun. The Brobdingnagian Bards (pronounced brob-din-nahg-EE-en) were The Original Celtic Renaissance music duo from Austin, Texas. Their unique brand of folk music on the autoharp, recorder, and mandolin made them one of the most-popular Celtic music groups online where they continue to give away thousands of free Celtic MP3 downloads daily. From 1999 to 2008, the Brobdingnagian Bards performed coast-to-coast, and in a given month could be found at a Lord of the Rings Oscar Party, a Celtic festival, or a Science Fiction Convention. However, they were an absolute favorite at Renaissance Faires where they added high-energy and wit to make every show a memorable experience.
