THE QUEER SPIRIT
The Queer Spirit podcast is hosted by Nick Venegoni (he/they) & TanyaMarck Oviedo (they/them). Here you will find two kinds of episodes - Care Chats and Care Circles. - Care Chats are short, mindful conversations where we talk about what is on our hearts + minds, and share ideas about how we fill our mugs of care - how we practice taking care of ourselves AND each other. - Care Circles are recordings of QS Community live virtual gatherings where we explore care practices of movement, breath work, meditation, sound and more, together. Queer Spirit (QS) is a grassroots non-profit charitable organization. We are space holders who offer care-centered virtual + inclusive spaces centering Queers + Allies. Since 2018 QS has been providing free support and care globally via our virtual care circles and the QS podcast.
PRACTICE MAKES PRESENCE
Practice Makes Presence is a podcast with discussions on mental health, social justice, and spirituality. Practice means that there is nothing conventional, standard, or predictable about your life. Your path is a grand journey where relationships with wise travelers can be both inspiring and encouraging. This growth takes work and support. Presence means that we accept that this moment is the only opportunity we have to embrace life. Our growth in wisdom and compassion begins with honoring our experience, the experiences of those around us, and finally the experiences of the world around us. The podcast is about thinking critically, growing authentically, and sharing wisdom intentionally. The podcast is not perfect, but with practice, we can all be more present in our lives and our communities. And that sounds perfect!
