SEQUESTERED PODCAST
In Season Two of SEQUESTERED, we step into the shadows of six cold cases involving missing or murdered individuals whose stories have yet to be brought to justice. These cases don’t begin with crime scenes—they begin in the quiet, everyday moments that suddenly turned tragic. Through victim-centric, time-capsule storytelling, SEQUESTERED brings life to stories long buried in silence. New episodes drop on Mondays. Subscribe on Apple Podcasts for exclusive bonus episodes and content! Because silence isn’t justice.
CIVIL WAR TALK RADIO
Since October 2004, host Gerry Prokopowicz (East Carolina University history professor) has held weekly in-depth conversations about Civil War history with various historians, authors, curators, artists and other people whose work is of interest to students of the Civil War era. Guests have included James McPherson, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Gary Gallagher, Caroline Janney, Peter Carmichael, Carol Reardon, and many others. Although the show is named “talk radio,” it has little in common with traditional talk radio, in that the guests do most of the talking, on subjects of their choosing. There’s no ranting by the host, and no callers. Lists and links to all previous episodes can be found at www.impedimentsofwar.org, along with titles of upcoming episodes.

UNTYING KNOTS: MINDS AND SOULS UNTETHERED
A knot is a focus point in a rope. Multiple knots can shorten the length of rope. A knot can disrupt how a rope coils or uncoils. A knot can also be a place to provide a grip for climbing and holding something in place. Our lives can be full of knots that can be either helpful or unhelpful. The Untying Knots podcast is here to stimulate listeners by untying knots that hamper our understanding around mental health issues, and helping to find the knots that are there to help one climb or stop their fall. We focus on sharing information, education about mental health, psychotherapy and the practice of it from a Black-Indigenous-Person-of-Color lens. We interview people who work in the field of mental health. We discuss myths and realities about the field, and we talk with creatives on how mental health impacts the challenges they face, how they overcome these challenges, and how it helps them live an authentic empowered life.
