Hi Everyone, Carl Gould here your #70secondCEO, just over a minute of investment per day for a lifetime of results.
The point is when you're creating a strategic plan for yourself and your career, you need to know where you're going. What is compelling about you? What do you wanna be in your life? Now think about this. Your plan should include the following 3 elements: WHAT, WHY, and HOW.
So, WHAT is it you're going to do? Are you gonna be an accountant? Are you going to be a lawyer? Are you gonna be a firefighter? Are you gonna be somebody who works with animals? Are you gonna be someone in the service industry, the manufacturing industry? WHAT are you going to do? WHAT is the technical expertise and the technical expression of your business and professional life going to look like? You need to be clear about that. So WHAT am i gonna do?
Then, HOW am I gonna go about it? The HOW is very important. How am I going to make this happen? Am I gonna live abroad and study? Am I gonna get my Masters or my Doctorate? Am I gonna go to the School of Hard Knocks? HOW am I going to make this happen?
And probably most importantly, WHY? WHY am I doing this? Why am I undertaking this work? Why do I even care? What is my purpose?
